Chapter 520: Jiraiya: You Are Invincible, So Enemies Come from the Sky?

”When do you plan to go find that guy, Jigen?”

Kenichi leisurely dealt with the White Zetsu in front of him while glancing at Black Zetsu.

Black Zetsu hesitated after hearing Kenichi’s question.

Jigen’s strength was incredibly formidable.

Frankly, Black Zetsu himself was not confident in dealing with Jigen.

His power was somewhat enigmatic.

Previously, Madara had fought him, suffered soul damage, and only managed to force out one of Jigen’s ninjutsu, gaining no other useful information.

Therefore, Black Zetsu felt that more preparation was needed before confronting Jigen.

Seeing Black Zetsu’s hesitation, Kenichi knew the guy was conflicted.

Kenichi was not in a hurry anyway.

He had not figured out how to lure Jigen out yet.

Traditional methods of enticement probably would not work on Jigen, as he was very cautious. Otherwise, he would not have hidden for so long.

Moreover, looking at the previous Naruto anime, Jigen had not appeared at all during the Fourth Shinobi World War, let alone the organization he founded later.

This indicated that even by the time of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Jigen had no urgent need for something he absolutely had to obtain.

So, luring Jigen out with items would be difficult.

But it was not entirely impossible.

If Kenichi’s own speculation was not wrong, then Jigen was likely a severely injured member of the Otsutsuki Clan.

Releasing news related to the Otsutsuki Clan might be able to trick Jigen, but this would undoubtedly be troublesome.

Making Jigen believe it would not be easy and would require careful planning.

”Can Madara be revived in his original body?”

Black Zetsu asked Kenichi.

He felt that having Madara fight in his original body might be more effective.

He could also re-implant the Rinnegan into Madara, allowing his strength to reach its peak.

That would further increase their chances of victory.

At the same time, he could consider implanting a Tailed Beast into Madara.

The Nine-Tails certainly would not work.

Black Zetsu knew the Nine-Tails was Kenichi’s disciple.

As for the Eight-Tails, Killer Bee’s combat power was not weak, and Kenichi probably would not agree.

The less prominent Seven-Tails, however, would be a good choice.

Implanting a Tailed Beast would also ensure that Madara had abundant chakra.

”It is possible. As you know, I have ninjutsu that can revive people. But the issue is that to revive Madara, you must bear the corresponding cost. Are you truly prepared to accept the possibility that a revived Madara might still be defeated?”

Kenichi looked at the White Zetsu that was slowly transforming into Jiraiya’s appearance, a satisfied smile on his face.

However, Kenichi then glanced at Black Zetsu.

This guy really dared to think big.

”Moreover, if I’m not mistaken, you also plan to have Madara regain the Rinnegan and reach his strongest form. But if the Rinnegan were taken by the opponent, then there would be almost no chance of victory in the next battle.”

Reviving Madara to achieve his strongest combat power was indeed one method.

But the problem was that it was better to use Edo Tensei to probe Jigen’s trump cards and gather intelligence first.

Under Edo Tensei, complete death was almost impossible.

And with so many powerful individuals revived through Edo Tensei, the Sage of Six Paths would definitely take notice.

It would certainly be interesting to let the Sage of Six Paths see his relative then.

Moreover, Kenichi himself did not want Jigen to gain control of the Rinnegan.

Jigen was too troublesome.

If he controlled the Rinnegan, it would be even harder to win in the future.

However, Kenichi believed that Jigen was currently severely injured and unable to act.

Otherwise, there was no reason he would have remained completely inactive for so many years.

He seemed to be hiding himself, only waiting for the most critical moment to reveal his killing intent.

Combining that with the Boruto plot, Kenichi felt that Jigen would not cause too much trouble now.

On the contrary, probing Jigen now, forcing him, and making him reveal his trump cards was the best choice.

With luck, they might even severely injure Jigen.

After all, the current Jigen was definitely not truly invincible.

Otherwise, why would he hide himself so deeply?

”I...”

Black Zetsu’s expression was somewhat conflicted.

Frankly, he really did not have much confidence.

Although Madara had always claimed that his perfect form was powerful, if something went wrong as Kenichi suggested, it would be extremely troublesome and could easily lead to other problems.

Kenichi was right.

If Madara’s Rinnegan were taken and became Jigen’s weapon, then defeating that guy would become a major issue.

Moreover, with Jigen present, Black Zetsu did not dare to implement his plan.

The opponent’s strength was immense.

If Jigen did not want him to unseal his mother, then all Jigen would need to do was act at the crucial moment, and Black Zetsu’s long-term schemes would all be for nothing.

Therefore, how to deal with Jigen, and how to confront him, was a very serious question in Black Zetsu’s mind.

Seeing Black Zetsu’s conflicted expression, Kenichi shook his head.

It seemed that not only did he lack confidence, but Black Zetsu did not have much confidence either.

However, this improved Kenichi’s mood considerably.

Humans were like this.

Once they had a comparison, they could find comfort.

Especially when the other party was even more conflicted than themselves, the comforting effect was stronger.

Kenichi almost wanted to laugh while looking at Black Zetsu.

Kenichi already had an idea of how to deal with Jigen.

And the most important point was that Kenichi was not short on time, nor was he in a hurry.

He knew that Jigen would only exert his full power in the future.

The current Jigen was unable to act.

Or rather, he did not want to act.

Otherwise, he would not have been pressured to this extent by Madara.

”Why don’t you go back and ask Madara for his opinion? Anyway, the White Zetsu you sent are enough. Your presence here isn’t very significant.”

Kenichi spoke nonchalantly.

Black Zetsu felt inexplicably annoyed when he heard this.

Kenichi was truly irritating and meddlesome.

And now, he even dared to openly look down on him.

This made Black Zetsu somewhat displeased.

However, what Kenichi said was not wrong.

To deal with Jigen, he still needed to discuss it with Madara.

Madara was currently the main force against Jigen.

As for Kenichi, Black Zetsu did not expect him to participate.

Previously, that bastard Kenichi had said, ”With the First Hokage, Hashirama, and Madara there, I really can’t imagine how pathetic those two would have to be for me to need to step in.”

As a result, Madara immediately asserted himself, firmly stating that Kenichi’s intervention was unnecessary.

However, Kenichi did not do nothing.

He made some interesting little gadgets, indicating that they might be useful on the future battlefield.

Black Zetsu left in a huff.

He did not even take his corpses and White Zetsu.

Kenichi was pleased about this.

He was currently processing Jiraiya and Tsunade’s Edo Tensei bodies.

Although Kenichi personally felt that doing so was not ideal and might damage his reputation, since he had decided to do it, Kenichi would not be indecisive.

So Kenichi perfectly reanimated Jiraiya and Tsunade through Edo Tensei, without placing anything into their minds.

Although Jiraiya and Tsunade had strong opinions of him, they were pure ninja.

If he explained things clearly to them, he figured there would not be much of a problem.

However, before fully completing the Edo Tensei, Kenichi stopped.

He was not in a hurry to complete the Edo Tensei.

His chakra was almost sufficient, and he could continue extracting and compressing it.

The work of compressing chakra had to be done daily.

If there were no other matters, then every second had to be seized.

After all, human cells were simply too numerous.

Filling all of them was not easy.

So Kenichi’s idea was simple.

He planned to race against time to compress chakra, continuously compressing it to quickly reach that realm.

During this process, this chakra could not be used.

Otherwise, the work of compressing chakra during this period would be wasted.

Soon, Kenichi compressed chakra twice.

Once with his own chakra, and once with the chakra extracted from the Samehada clone.

After finishing the compression, Kenichi returned to the lab with satisfaction.

Then he glanced at Jiraiya and Tsunade and kicked them into coffins.

Immediately, Kenichi clapped his hands, and the two coffins rose.

Then Jiraiya pushed open his coffin door.

Tsunade violently kicked her coffin door open and stormed out. The moment she saw Kenichi, she raised her fist to strike him.

”Wait, Lady Tsunade, Jiraiya-sensei.”

Kenichi chose to play the emotional card.

And this trick indeed worked.

After all, Kenichi had no deep animosity with Jiraiya and Tsunade before this.

Their relationship had once been quite good.

His simple address immediately made Jiraiya and Tsunade hesitate.

However, Tsunade then revealed a cold smirk.

She clenched her fist, glaring menacingly at Kenichi, this little brat.

He had killed her before.

Not only her, but Shizune as well.

Shizune, the companion who had followed her for so long, had been mercilessly pierced through the heart with a kunai by Kenichi.

She had not settled this score with Kenichi yet.

Thinking of this, Tsunade’s expression became ferocious, like a film suddenly freezing at the most tense moment.

”Amamiya Kenichi! You bastard!”

Tsunade charged forward fiercely.

Kenichi rolled his eyes.

Jiraiya stood by with his arms crossed, smiling at the scene.

He also had grievances with Kenichi, but these grievances had lessened after Jiraiya’s death.

Moreover, Jiraiya had learned about Kenichi’s actions after his death.

It could be said that this little brat had indeed done quite well.

Unifying the Shinobi World was such a great feat, and it could bring peace to the entire Shinobi World.

This gave Jiraiya some expectations for Kenichi.

If he were not dead now and unable to see the Great Toad Sage, Jiraiya would even want to ask whether the future had been changed.

However, he would not stop Tsunade.

After all, Tsunade had indeed been very angry and furious at the time, but she could not do anything to Kenichi.

Let Tsunade be angry now.

It would be good for that little brat Kenichi to suffer a bit.

Jiraiya rubbed his face.

The pain of being pierced by that lightning still seemed to linger.

”Lady Tsunade, don’t you want Nawaki to have a complete life?”

Kenichi asked calmly, looking at Tsunade’s constantly enlarging fist.

Tsunade’s hand immediately stopped.

Her eyes filled with deep conflict and hesitation.

Nawaki.

Her poor younger brother, whose soul was still in the Pure Land.

Although Nawaki was in the Pure Land, he would never grow up.

His intelligence and appearance would forever remain at that age.

Becoming Hokage was also his unfulfilled regret.

Sometimes, Tsunade would even see Nawaki secretly crying out in pain.

The suffering of the past still tormented her younger brother.

And Kenichi, that bastard, indeed possessed the ability to revive people.

Tsunade and Jiraiya had confirmed this from Minato, who had been revived to accompany Kushina and Naruto.

That made them incredibly envious.

”And what I’m asking you to do now isn’t to fight the village’s ninja, nor is it for war and death. What I need you to do is for the peace of the entire Shinobi World.”

Kenichi continued, constantly adding weight to the scale.

Tsunade was a ninja, and her greatest regrets were the deaths of Nawaki and Dan Kato.

However, perhaps later, she also regretted Jiraiya.

Kenichi glanced at Jiraiya.

That old man Jiraiya had loved Tsunade for so long, but even now, they did not seem to be together.

Could it be that Tsunade was with Dan Kato?

If so, it would be too cruel for Jiraiya.

”What do you want to do?”

Jiraiya asked Kenichi.

He had not expected to be reanimated through Edo Tensei, but Kenichi had done it anyway, which left Jiraiya somewhat confused.

He did not know Kenichi’s reason for doing this.

Peace for the Shinobi World?

What existence could threaten the peace of the Shinobi World?

Could it be enemies flying down from the sky?

Jiraiya did not know that his wild thought had precisely hit the bullseye.

He was indeed correct.

Enemies had come from the sky.

It was somewhat dark humor, and also a bit abrupt, as there was not much record of enemies from the sky in the Shinobi World.
