I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 697: 12.99 - Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Ye Xiajie and the World Eater Fragment

The scene of his beloved fading before him broke his heart. Ye Xiajie knew it wasnʼt a complete separation but only a temporary one. Even then, he couldnʼt accept that his beloved would have to give him the little bit of power he had left in him just to give him the temporary authority to control the power of destruction.

His eyes were glowing dark red and the atmosphere around him turned dangerous. Rage. Ye Xiajie is very angry. The space around him shook as the darkness around him was released. The tall snowy peaks of Mount Everest melted under his pressure and one of the few peaks turned to dust.

Ye Xiajie murmured in extreme fury, ”It was that thingʼs fault. I donʼt know what the hell is that World Eater Fragment that caused me to be separated from my wife but... Iʼll make sure to erase your existence when I get my whole soul back!”

Tsk! Ye Xiajie clicked his tongue in a bad mood. Before disappearing in thin air after ruining half of the mount peak of Mount Everest. If this scene was discovered, this would definitely be reported in the news for days and would be considered a headline. Who would have expected the icy mountain peaks of Mount Everest to melt? Causing natural disasters followed by its melting.

Meanwhile, Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua had been teleported back to their condominium. They fall on the carpeted floor as if they were boneless. The pressure that almost suffocated them and caused them to lose control over their bodies due to intense fear was finally gone. It still took a while before the trembling of their bodies resided.

Hei Yuhua asked, ”AʼYu, what should we do? That thing... The one that wears Daturaʼs face is obviously no longer human. I... Is the world ending?”

Ye Yuyan hugs his wife, he can feel the shaking of both their bodies. When humans face the end of the world, the only thing they would remember is the most important people in their lives. Their loved ones and their family.

”Donʼt worry. System Yang and System Yu cab stop that. Moreover, we have Lord Hei and Lord God Ye on our side.” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua hugs back his husband and says, ”AʼYan, I want to see Huahua, Father Ye, Mother Ye, and my family.”

”Um, I will bring you there. Letʼs go stay with them now,” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua said, ”No. Call back, AʼJie and Brother Wei then... We will go back home together.”

”Okay. I will call them back,” said Ye Yuyan as he called Lou Wei and Yun Jie back home. They only waited for half an hour before the two came back. He also ordered the people imprisoned underground to be released.

Though no one informed Warden Lou and Yun Ming about the World Eater Fragmentʼs existence they could still feel the changes in the world. They were waiting for everyone to return when they felt the owners of this building had come back.

At the underground prison...

Yun Ming and Warden Lou unfreed Agent A who had fainted when the parasite on her was removed. They were waiting for her to wake up when they felt the existence of the World Eater Fragment. Yun Ming had no idea about this, he can be considered a young god that knows nothing about this Mythical existence. On the other hand, Warden Lou knew about the prophecy spreading in Vearth. It is about the existence of who eats worlds.

”The world is in turmoil. I can feel the domain of the sun and moon. Is it Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang? But why would they use their domains in this world?” asked Yun Ming.

Warden Lou said, ”Something isnʼt right? Thereʼs another unknown energy... A sinister one that steals or eats energy. Feel it, do you think that the world energy in this world is fading?”

”You are right? What is it that is causing this situation? Plus...”

RUMBLES~

Yun Mingʼs words were. Cut off when they felt the whole world shook. They know this isnʼt an ordinary earthquake since they could feel the dangerous aura of Lord God Ye in it.

Warden Lou frowned and said, ”This is... Milordʼs aura but... Something was mixed in it.”

”No, impossible! How can he wield the power of destruction!? Only Lord Hei is capable of using it! Eh??? No... No way! Lord Heiʼs presence... it disappeared?” said Yun Ming.

This time Warden Lou himself was shocked. What does Lord Heiʼs soul presence disappearing mean? It meant that his Lord would go crazy and this world would be no more!

Warden Lou said, ”A-Are you telling the truth? Lord Heiʼs soul was stabilized, how can it suddenly disappear!”

”But it really disappeared? I can no longer feel the soul protection Lord Hei left on me!?” said Yun Ming.

While the two are panicking, Ye Xiajie suddenly appears before the two. He teleported in front of them but the thick aura of murder stifled the two godsʼ breathing. Warden Lou and Yun Ming were stunned to see a cold-faced Ye Xiajie appearing in front of them. They could feel the pressure he was emitting and could barely raise their heads. All other things including humans felt their bodies under pressure the closer they were to Ye Xiajie the more gravity they felt. The sleeping Agent A not far had longed turned to red mist and existed no more.

Warden Lou lowered his head and saluted while Yun Ming was dumbfounded as he stared at the familiar-looking silver crown made of stars and galaxies on Ye Xiajieʼs head.

”Greets the Lord God!”

”Warden. I will send Yang and Yue here. You with all Gods in this world and transfer the mortals temporarily to the Netherworld. Afterward, you ask An Liang to find them a new world to live in next. You must erase all their memories of this world and us.”

”As you command, my lord!”

After saying these words Ye Xiajie once again disappeared making the two feel like a huge rock in their hearts disappeared. It was only a few minutes after that Warden Lou noticed his loverʼs weird silence. When he checked on him he saw him dazed as if he had seen something he couldnʼt believe.

Warden Lou asked, ”Honey, whatʼs wrong?”

”He... He... Why does he have the Domain of Ruination and the Crown of Carnage? Those are Lord Heiʼs powers,” muttered Yun Ming.

”M-Maybe Lord Hei let Milord borrow it. As we know his soul... His soul is already too weak. Moreover, Milord is Lord Heiʼs other half. There is no way he would harm Lord Hei!” said Warden Lou.

Yun Ming said, ”Other half? Yes! You are right! I heard those in Mo Bloodline can let their other half use their abilities. This is one of the few reasons why a Moʼs other half is special. Letʼs go. We need to make preparations for one large teleportation to the Netherworld. We need to create a world-size Teleportation Circle.”

”Do we have enough materials?” asked Warden Lou.

”Can Elemental Stones be used? I always have it from the Fantasy World we had gone through before,” said Yun Ming.

Warden Lou said, ”The one from when you are a Spirit Lord?”

”Yes. The Ice Spirits at that time made a lot of it and gifted them to Lord Hei. Iʼve been holding on to it since then,” said Yun Ming.

Warden Lou grinned and said, ”Thatʼs great. Letʼs use it all!”

The two busied themselves in building a world-sized teleportation circle. The spell structure for this one had been simplified by the God of Punishment, Lord Hei Sian, who came from the Clan and held absolute control over Space Elements. Because of him, most Gods and Goddesses can use the simplified version of the Teleportation circle. The downside is that they need a lot of spirit or elemental stones to help them convert their own elemental qi to space elements. After all, not all Gods are able to wield space elements. The simplified array is used to convert their current elemental qi to space element regardless of what element it was.

---

Ye Xiajie finally appeared at the place where Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang were trying their best to imprison the World Eater Fragment using the arrays of Heaven and Earth. They now look pale as the energy used to keep it activated requires endless consumption of their qi. Even if they are high-ranked Gods, their qi isnʼt infinite.

Zhi Yue said, ”AʼYang, I feel dizzy~”

”Just a bit more. Endure it for a bit, Yueʼer until Lord Hei and Lord God Ye comes,” said Zhi Yang his qi consumption is greater than Zhi Yue as he was trying to lessen the burden on his other self. His face is bloodless and covered in a cold sweat. When Zhi Yue noticed his appearance he felt afraid that something bad would happen to his other self and almost couldnʼt hold back crying.

Wuwuwu~

Zhi Yang said, ”Donʼt cry, Yueʼer. Iʼm fine.”

”Pfft~ you brats are funny. Donʼt deactivate the array~ if you do I will eat you~”

”YOU!?”

Hahahaha~

The world eater fragment watches this scene with a sneer. He chooses not to make a move and let these two gods imprison him in an array. Though breaking this array is a bit hard for him, it doesnʼt mean he canʼt escape. He just didnʼt want to waste more energy which would enhance his hunger. So he prefers to be imprisoned while waiting for these two to use up all their energy and eat them afterward.

Unfortunately, this plan of his would fail as a black domain surrounded all three of them. This darkness is not an ordinary dome. It is made from pure energy that only a Supreme Being can wield. Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang recognized this black dome. It is the Domain of Darkness that Lord God Ye owns.

Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang were delighted by his arrival but were stunned that only Ye Xiajie appeared alone. Lord Hei cannot be seen anywhere.

Zhi Yue asked, ”Milord, where is Lord Hei? Isnʼt he supposed to be with you?”

Ye Xiajie replied with silence. Only the slight pursed of his lips had changed on him. Zhi Yue didnʼt notice but Zhi Yang did. Only then did the latter notice the silver crown on Lord God Yeʼs head, which left him shocked that he had forgotten about the array. When the qi was suddenly cut off, the array started to fail, making Zhi Yue panic.

Zhi Yue said, ”Whatʼs wrong, AʼYang?”

Zhi Yang ignored his other self and asked Lord God Ye, ”Where is my master?”

”Went to the final world ahead of time. Donʼt worry. He should be safe even if... He no longer has the strength as a God,” answered Ye Xiajie with a trembling and hoarse voice.

Zhi Yue couldnʼt understand their conversation but he could feel that Zhi Yang was not in a good mood and his lord was in an even worse mood.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Help Warden Lou and the rest. Afterward, you two can also head to the world where Jingʼer had left for.”

”Eh? Whatʼs happening?” asked Zhi Yue in bewilderment. Sadly, no one answered his question.

Zhi Yang saluted in silence before teleporting next to Zhi Yue who still couldnʼt understand anything.

”Protect Jingʼer with all you got,” ordered Ye Xiajie.

Zhi Yang responded, ”Affirmative!”

Only when the two systems left the domain did Ye Xiajie fully activate his domain, preventing anything from escaping. The World Eater Fragment immediately recognized Ye Xiajie. Though not the current Ye Xiajie but him from the ancient past.

”Itʼs you... Why would the owner of Abyss now be able to leave his dominion?” asked the World Eater Fragment.

Ye Xiajie, who doesnʼt have his full memories, was bewildered. The former Xia Jieye was unable to leave the Abyss where he is born too but had existed as long as Shen Siwang since they were born. In the ancient past that everyone no longer know, the World Eater Race was hunted by both Shen Siwang and Xia Jieye before. This was even before Vearth had been made. Abyss was Xia Jieyeʼs birthplace, the whole realm is his but the downside is that he couldnʼt leave it unattended. It was only with the help of someone that he was able to take his leave by letting a substitute take his place as the Sovereign and live in Abyss for him.

”Abyss. Are you talking about that little dragon of mine? It is still here?” said Ye Xiajie as a huge black dragon made from darkness appeared behind Ye Xiajie and was now encircling him. After Abyss had merged with Roi, its strength had doubled including the size. Now he is a true dragon with divinity.

The world eater fragmentʼs vessel raised an eyebrow as if he was stunned. Not because of the huge black dragon but of something else. Then as if understanding something this being sneered and gave Ye Xiajie a provocative gaze.

”Heh~ this is unexpected. The Sovereign that rules the Abyss didnʼt have its realm with him plus... Youʼve gotten too weak, God of Void. Hahaha~ this is hilarious!!!”
