I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 655: 12.57 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Berserk Potion

Hei Yuhua answered honestly and said, ”Yes.”

It was just a single word but this answer alone was enough to cause turmoil in the hearts of the three people in front of him. This is especially true in Prosecutor Ye Yuyanʼs case. As his fated mate and husband, this kind of answer devastated him.

Silence~

There is only a deafening silence inside the living room yet Hei Yuhua can see clearly the changes that happened on the faces of the three people in front of him. Their faces were so rich in variation that they entertained Hei Yuhua. Wei Lou was stunned speechless. Yun Jie was frowning a bit thinking deeply about something but he could see hatred glinting within his eyes.

Ye Yuyan had it worse. He looks sad and guilty at the same time. There is also regret and blame as if telling himself why he couldnʼt be there for his mate when he was suffering from all that pain. Why hasnʼt he found him ahead of time!?

If he had found him ahead of time, he would have been able to protect him from all loneliness and pain.

Hei Yuhua noticed that his husband isnʼt willing to ask more questions about that part of the past; he actually didnʼt want to tell others about his past, especially the days when he hadnʼt met Ye Yuyan yet. But since this forbidden concoction had gotten involved then he needs to tell everyone the origin and effects of the Berserk Potion.

”It was a mistake in one of the undercover missions abroad. At that time, we heard that traces of the Red Poppy Organization were found in that secret laboratory. To infiltrate, I had to pretend as one of the test subjects this laboratory was supplied with. Human Trafficking is more abundant abroad. So getting in was easy. Itʼs just that things had gotten wrong and there is one crazy scientist who loves to create or invent potions and decoctions. This man is known as Datura.”

Hei Yuhua continues his story about the past events in his life.

”Datura was the only person who survived in that mission of mine as... I killed every scientist and the human subject in that laboratory before burning the whole thing to the ground.”

Silence descended in the room. Hei Yuhua as he told them this part of his past was expressionless this whole time even the light within those argent orbs dimmed and icy as he storied this forgotten past of his. It felt awkward and uncomfortable in the living room. No one spoke a word and only listened to Hei Yuhuaʼs story. Ye Yuyan also didnʼt say anything but instead approached his wife and hugged him from behind. The warmth coming from his most beloved mate thaws a bit of the coldness coming from Hei Yuhua.

Even though it was only a bit. It was enough for Hei Yuhua not to fall into a state of depression because of this painful past.

Hei Yuhua held his husbandʼs hand and smiled, ”Iʼm okay. Itʼs already in the past.”

”If... If itʼs no longer painful for you. Please tell me anything. Whether it is your past or plan for the future, Iʼm willing to stand by your side no matter what.” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua replied, ”I know. I know you will stay by my side. For now, listen to my story okay?”

Ye Yuyan nodded as his arms were kept wrapped around his mateʼs waist.

”The reason I wasnʼt able to kill Datura was that the Red Poppy Syndicate had taken him away before the day I blew up the whole laboratory. At the present, Datura is an executive member of the Red Poppy Syndicate. Iʼve met him before but he must have not recognized me. I was the one who plucked one of his eyes after all. He is the only existence in the syndicate who excels in making weird drugs. That berserk concoction and the Ecstacy flower were a few of his works.” said Hei Yuhua.

”Ecstasy Flower suddenly appeared in this country a year ago. Does that mean he was already here last year?” asked Lou Wei.

Hei Yuhua answered, ”Yes. That berserk concoction Doctor Shen had drunk must be something he made as well. He is the only person who can make that kind of annoying drug.”

”The effects of berserk concoction are deadly to anyone with constitution grade below A. For those with constitution grades A to S, you have a 50-50 percent chance of being able to survive. Surviving had two results. Either you become a cripple for life as a vegetable man or become someone like me... An ability user. Domination through pheromones is ability. I can command them through words.” explained Hei Yuhua.

Ye Yuyan asked, ”Was it painful?”

”It hurts as hell,” answered Hei Yuhua. ”The other subjects who were with me that time all died. Only I was able to survive. I had to watch them dry up alive while screaming for help. I was a government agent and wasnʼt able to do anything for them. I can only... watch them suffer and die. Now... I donʼt feel anything seeing the death of strangers...”

Hei Yuhua started to tremble a bit while within Ye Yuyanʼs embrace. The warmth was able to calm him down but those traumatic scenes in his head flashes as if they just happened yesterday. Ye Yuyan comforted him and coaxed him to sleep. He had been too tired for today after walking through almost hundreds of meters just to reach the nearest slum district by foot from the suburbs.

”Youʼre too tired. Sleep. Sleep Yuʼer I will be by your side.” said Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua, as if the fatigue finally kicked in, slowly closed his eyes with a few traces of tears and fell asleep. Ye Yuyan continues to pat his back to soothe him with his sandalwood pheromones surrounding his wife to ease his anxiety. For Alpha and Omega, they would only feel safe and unguarded towards their own mates.

Ye Yuyan raised his head and looked at his and his wifeʼs subordinates. Though the effects of the disguise pill had been used up and are now using their real appearance the worry in their eyes cannot be hidden.

”Donʼt worry. My wife will be fine after sleep. But there is something System Yang wanted to tell us. It seems that the Red Poppy Syndicate had once again contacted Yuʼer. Because of his trauma resurfacing, he must have forgotten to tell us. System Yang will tell us the story.” said Ye Yuyan.

System Yang spoke as a small floating sun and moon appeared in thin air. The two magical systems materialized in their avatar forms. It was made so everyone in the living can see and hear them.

[It happened before Hei Yuhua left the church. He heard someoneʼs phone ringing. It was Officer Ying Wuʼs phone. Obviously, hacked by someone from the other side. Hei Yuhua picked it up and as expected it was that human female who calls himself Nightshade who spoke from the other side. They give him Hei Yuhuaʼs second mission. The mission is to kill Ye Yuyanʼs closest confidant Lou Wei.]

Lou Wei cursed, ”Fuck! For real!!!”

[Itʼs real. They wanted you dead, maybe next time he would ask for the death of Yun Jie. But you guys are already prepared for it, right? Thatʼs why youʼre dummies roaming around abroad controlled bybYun Ming and Warden Lou intentionally followed their left behind tracks and would be coming back to the country in a few days.] said System Yue.

System Yang said, [Donʼt worry. Yun Ming and Warden Lou were already prepared for it. But you still need to prepare for the stage death of the dummy.]

Yun Jie asked, ”Are Brother Yun and Brother Warden gonna be okay?”

[They are Gods. Even if their vessels died they would be okay. Only Gods and God slayers can kill a God. In your world, there is no one like that among the original residents of this world.] said System Yang.

Ye Yuyan said, ”Letʼs do it at a place with fewer people. The Airport would be the greatest choice. If the dummies went through the VIP area we should be able to let Yuʼer snipe them down as soon as they get off the plane.”

”Boss, you will have to do that world-best acting you did before once again. Are you going to cry in my death?” said Lou Wei. Totally does not care about his rudeness of teasing his superior.

As expected Ye Yuyan got pissed and stood up while carefully carrying his wife in his arms and kicked Lou Wei.

(QAQ) (QAQ) (QAQ)

Ye Yuyan said before heading to the bedroom, ”You both go back and rest. Come here after breakfast. Good night.”

”Hiss~ that hurts!!!” said Lou Wei.

Yun Jie commented, ”You deserve that for acting like a fool. Itʼs not that you didnʼt know that there are no records of your death in our past life. Even then only you and Brother Ye survived in the end. That time you two only have each other for support and how important you are to him, it is not as if you didnʼt know. Donʼt joke our like that.”

Lou Wei was expressionless as he carried Yun Jie on his shoulders. The word past made him extremely grumpy as in their past life like Ye Yuyan had killed Hei Yuhua. He had also killed Yun Jie to protect Ye Yuyan. In the end, they both lost their mates together and live a life as if they are in hell itself. The latter was taken aback but shut his mouth when he saw his loverʼs usual silly smile gone. He allowed himself to be carried away by his lover towards their room next door.

Only System Yue and System Yang were left behind in the living room.

[These humans are a bit like that group. It is as if seeing a human version of Lord Hei, Lord Ye, Warden Lou, and Officer Yun.] said System Yue.

[Maybe this is a Parallel Universe version of them. This world is not recorded in the world databases under the God and Nether System after all.]

[What should we do now, AʼYang?] asked System Yue.

System Yang answered, [Didnʼt they prepare to bait that human called Iris? We should make preparations as well. When I last checked this worldʼs data I found out that an outsider soul took control of the Stock Market. If Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua wanted to pull him to their side we must get involved. Do you think a God would listen to mortals?]

[I know that man. His vesselʼs name is Lin Jiya. According to the original plot, he is a minor villain who helped Yun Jie take revenge for Hei Yuhuaʼs death, but in the end, got caught after Yun Jie died. Now that most world hoppers in this world were given a warning from the above echelons, they stayed away from the script trying not to get involved in the lives of Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua.] said System Yue.

System Yang pulled out the manʼs profile and saw a weird comment in it.

[So he is a man who loves money the most. He is a God of Wealth so itʼs understandable. But after taking over the stock market he already got entangled with Iris from the Red Poppy Syndicate.]

[He is a fool for money. But since he got involved we should go and talk to them.] said System Yue.

System Yang said, [That can be arranged. Howʼs the Supreme Lord?]

[Lord God Ye is awake but he is still meditating. I can speak with him sometimes but I was told not to bother him unless his wife is awake. Is Lord Hei still in deep sleep?] asked System Yue.

System Yang said, [Yes. Still asleep. He covered himself with ice and slept inside the ice. But he should be waking up soon. Though I think we canʼt stay in this world for too long. Lord Hei must return to the Nether System as soon as possible.]

[I will go out to find the Red Poppy Syndicate boss and their main hideout. Once they were caught, the Lord should no longer need to stay in this world.] said System Yue.

[Be careful. We donʼt know if there is something weird going on in this world. I will also watch that human called Yi Rouya. He had been gone for a long time. He must have gotten involved with the Syndicate if he had followed those dreams of his.] said System Yang.

System Yue commented, [Ah~ so busy. Itʼs so boring without Lord Hei making fun with people.]
