I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 694: 12.96 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case -World Eaterʼs Fragment

The whole abandoned warehouse was surrounded by police under the command of Prosecutor Ye Yuyan. After all, preparation was done, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan looked at his wife whole was playing with his bullet suit armor and guns in his hands. He looked serious and was surrounded by coldness. It cannot be denied that Datura had a connection with Hei Yuhua. They both hated each other to the core.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan was about to talk to his wife when suddenly a report from Lou Wei arrived. Saying that a hostage-taking case in Crossfield private High school is taking place. The cause of it was Former Inspector Yi Rouya. They say that they would be a bit late in sending reinforcements. The only good news they hear is that Azalea and Hyacinth were already caught and were now on their way to prison.

”Yuʼer, donʼt push yourself too much. A message came from Lao Wei. Yi Rouya is acting weird by suddenly taking some students hostage. Donʼt you think this move is out of place? Is he sure we can capture Datura?” asked Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua replied, ”Leave that case to Lou Wei and Yun Jie. Datura is the most important. We must capture him alive.”

System Yang spoke, [Somethingʼs weird here.]

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua heard System Yangʼs voice in their head but it didnʼt materialize in reality.

ʼWhat do you mean, System Yang?ʼ asked Hei Yuhua.

This time the one who answered was System Yue.

[There is a presence of a god in there. An evil god! It is not too powerful but... For mortals, you can never defeat it. Whatʼs more... It fused with Daturaʼs vessel. Iris and Oleander are unconscious.]

System Yang said, [Yue, go and find Lord Hei and Lord God Ye. I remembered this feeling... This is a wisp of a world eaterʼs aura! We need to leave as soon as possible!]

BOOOOM~

But as soon as System Yang finished saying those words, a huge explosion came from the abandoned warehouse. The whole place was destroyed and only a pile of ruins, rocks, and dust spread around. Except for Hei Yuhua and Prosecutor Ye Yuyan who were firmly protected by System Yang and System Yue, the rest of the police were all killed by the explosion.

”AH! No!!!”

Looking at the numerous burned bodies of their comrades, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan felt pain in his heart. These people came here to work with him. They were all by his side all this time. Most of them were subordinates that had been with him all this time. They had died with him in his past lives and still died in this present lifetime. He once again failed to save them.

Eyes bloodshot with immense anger and sadness, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan glares at the being that appeared before them. He wears the face of Datura. The only difference is the black wing on his back and the black eyes and scarlet irises staring at them. Thereʼs a sneer on the corner of his lips as he looks at Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua.

The evil in Daturaʼs body spoke, ”Hmm~, unlike these mortal bodies which possess souls of Gods, you two are both pure humans in flesh and soul but... There is a trace of pure divinity in your bodies. And two systems from the upper realm. I see now! No wonder I canʼt eat the souls of these two gods. Their souls are under the protection of the gods you guys have a connection with. Hehehe~”

Not far from the battered bodies of Bai Yin and Wan Yi were lying under the foot of Datura. They are still unconscious. Unable to wake up due to their heavy injuries. Fear spreads in the whole being of Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua. They wanted to run away but their bodies were not listening at all. The aura coming from Datura at this moment horrified them too much.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyanʼs thoughts at this moment, ʼWhat is this? A devil? Godʼs exist so the devil exists as well?!ʼ

ʼW-Why does it feel that this being in front of them doesnʼt care about them at all? Even System Yang and System Yue donʼt seem to interest him much.ʼ The thoughts of Hei Yuhua.

System Yang and System Yue materialized in their human forms. Zhi Yue and Zhi Gang stood in front of Hei Yuhua and Prosecutor Ye Yuyan in a protective manner. If something happened to these two humans the karma of failing the vow of exchange would fall on their lords which would lead to bad karma that will affect their lives.

System Yang didnʼt hesitate and teleported to take the God of Misfortune and the Celestial General back to their side. His teleportation ability is as strong as his master, Hei Anjing. Seeing this series of actions the Evil Datura looked at them nonchalantly. He doesnʼt care if a few of his prey were taken from him. He couldnʼt eat them anyway plus, they werenʼt as delicious as a whole world filled with world energy. He loves world energy the most and divinity found in gods and goddesses can only serve as seasonings to the main dish. Looking at the sky, he was checking the age of the age world he is in right now.

He couldnʼt help but lick his lips when he found out that this world is an upgrading one. An S rank world that is about to enter SS rank. It is one of his favorite foods. Worlds that are ranked S and above are delicacies his race can eat once in a while since most of these worlds are protected by a Celestial God and above.

He is just a mere fragment of an awakened World Eater. There are many of his kind scattered around the world. Who would expect he would be awakened too early this time? Lots of fragments of his kind exist all over the universe. Their mission is to eat lower-level worlds and let the main egg grow stronger until he is born.

But a few hundred millennia ago, the Origin God of Light and the Origin God of Darkness had destroyed their whole race. They exterminated them leaving not even a soul to exist. Unknown to them, a dormant egg was taken away by some before they completely destroyed the existence of the World Eater. Sleeping all this time waiting for an opportunity to once again wake up. Lately, the main egg was slowly getting stronger. It seems someone is helping it feed; they didnʼt know who that fool was. But thanks to him they are slowly gaining strength. As long as they donʼt bump into a being that could utterly destroy a worldʼs existence they would be safe.

System Yue teleported Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua back to their house without explanation.

System Yue said, [AʼYang, what should we do now? Thatʼs a world eater fragment! We canʼt defeat that even in our real form!]

[I already informed Lord Hei and someone from Vearth but... I donʼt know if they came here on time. For now, we can use an array to trap him here. Help me Yueʼer.] said System Yang.

System Yue responded, [I will be with you!]

The two who rule the sun and moon domains released their powers. In a split second the sky above them. Had split into half morning and half evening. Both the sun and moon are out, creating a yin-yang scene in the sky. Inscriptions of ancient god language appeared on both the sky and earth. Trapping the evil Datura inside the prison created from heaven and earth.

Evil Datura remained calm and said, ”The Imprisonment of Heaven and Earth. You little fledglings! You are from Vearth arenʼt you? Hehehe~”

System Yue said, [So, what if we are!?]

[Yueʼer. Ignore him! Focus on the array! This being is even worse than demons. They can control minds as long as you respond to them!] said System Yang.

”Hehehe~ One is a young god but the other seems to be someone from ancient times...”

Hearing this System Yue decided to cut off his hearing and ignore the Evil thing. According to his memories, this being is from the evilest race in existence. He had no care for the factions of good and bad. It only knows one thing, that was to eat. Its most favorite food is the world.

A world eaten by this being can never be reborn. It will forever be gone. Unlike the worlds destroyed by Gods which can still be reborn from a world seed that would sprout after a world is destroyed. It is very hard for worlds to be born and it takes a long time for them to grow.

The actions taken by Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang caused chaos in the whole world. No one knows what is happening. The phenomenon of both morning and evening appearing at the same time frightened everyone. To humans, this can be considered a scene of the world ending.

On Mount Everest, Hei Anjing and Ye Cijaie just finished making large sets of snowmen in different shapes on the peak of the mountain when suddenly they saw the scene of sun and moon domains being activated at the same time.

Hei Anjing spoke, ”Hm? Sun and Moon Domains? Arenʼt these the domains of Yue and Yang? Why are they using their real ability the world wouldnʼt bear it.”

Ye Xiajie was observing the world and noticed no cracks appearing on its surface which is weird.

”Something that does not need to exist seems to be awakened in this world. Jingʼer do you know what this thing is?” asked Ye Xiajie.

Unlike his wifeʼs weakened state, his state is almost close to his perfect state. He is the most powerful being in the world right now. He showed the image of the evil Datura, Zhi Yue, and Zhi Yang trapped in the array.

Hei Anjing is different from his husband, he had both memories of his past lives and current ones. When he saw the ghastly aura of gluttony in Datura he immediately recognized it.

”That fragment of a World Eater race!! My love... This being cannot exist! We must destroy it or its main body would awaken. If that happens then... All existence would be in danger,” said Hei Anjing.

Ye Xiajie frowned. He can be based on his wifeʼs reaction that this thing is a bad thing that must be destroyed. He hasnʼt heard about this thing but he wouldnʼt let anything exist that can harm his wife.

”How to kill it? Will my God Slaying sword be enough!?” asked Ye Xiajie.

Hei Anjing shook his head, ”The World Eater Fragment is not a god or a being of divinity. The God-slaying sword wouldnʼt be useful to it. My love, the only thing that could destroy it is pure energy. If your soul is complete you can destroy it with the pure energy of darkness but... Right now, your strength even if you are stronger than I am right now, wouldnʼt be able to harm that thing. AʼXia, use my domain.”

”Which one?” asked Ye Xiajie as he looked at his wife who was smiling at him gently. He knew his following words wouldnʼt be nice to hear.

Hei Anjing placed his hands on his husbandʼs head and poured all the pure energy of his main element as the God of Destruction. He gave his husband the ability to destroy everything that exists. An extremely powerful element that wasnʼt listed as element ability but one born as one.

Ye Xiajie knew what his wife was planning to do. He is giving him all his divinity. He wanted to stop him because the transfer of strength cannot be stopped. He can only watch as his wifeʼs soul turns blurry and transparent before his eyes. He tried to stop him but it was useless.

”Stop this Jingʼer!!” Ye Xiajieʼs tears couldnʼt help but fall. There is nothing more painful than to see his beloved disappear before him like this. He never wanted this feeling. Even though he knew they would once again meet in Vearth.

”Iʼm sorry my love. We will meet again after the final stage of the second trial. Donʼt cry. Promise me. You must destroy the World Eaterʼs fragment. That is a thing that should never exist.”

”N-No... Donʼt do this.”

”Silly~ donʼt cry. We can meet again in the Netherworld.”

Hei Anjingʼs soul faded as he gave one last kiss on his husbandʼs lips. A silver crown made from stars appeared on Ye Xiajieʼs head. It was a crown made from Hei Anjingʼs Destruction energy. As long as this domain is activated the one who wears the crown would possess the strongest authority and ability to use the power of destruction. The most powerful and destructive ability the God of Destruction possesses. The Domain of Ruination.

The moment Ye Xiajie saw his beloved disappear he could only scream in anger and loneliness.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
