I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 678: 12.80 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Oleanderʼs Visit.

The God of Wealth, Bai Jin, and his system, Demon General Shi Wuya, were speechless with what theyʼd just heard from Iris. They didnʼt know if they heard it right but this unknown variable that caused world error seemed to be someone from Vearth. Much more a being that used to be a God that is much more powerful than them both.

The immortal in his memories isnʼt someone else but a well-known figure that everyone in Vearth idolized as the strongest Executioner of all realms. The God of Destructionʼs God form.

The God of Wealth, Bai Jin, and Demon General Shi Wuya looked at one another. They were both stunned by what this mortal before them was saying.

Bai Jin asked, ”Do you clearly remember those dreams? Memories? Can you tell us what you remember in your surroundings? Tell us whatever detail you saw?”

”Calm down and think about it carefully. Your answer would affect what kind of ending you have,” said the former Demon General Shi Wuya.

Iris was bewildered by their words but he could feel a bit of politeness coming from these two men.

”I saw only a land of lava and fire. Burned earth and reddish sky,” replied Iris.

Once Bai Jin and Shi Wuya heard his answer they were even now sure this mortal in front of them is indeed a former God from Vearth who had died in the last war against the Ye Gui Race led by the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing. It was said that everyone except the God of Destruction had died in that place. The Ancient Inferno is the original birthplace of the notorious Ye Gui race.

Rumors say that the Lord God of Netherworld had died that day as well. But since no one except Celestial Lord Hei Anjing knows what happened, no one can say that the Lord God of Netherworld indeed died. Plus, Bai Jin and Shi Wuya had recently met his Majesty Lord God Ye himself. He might be a bit weakened but he is still alive and kicking.

Bai Jin asked his system, ”What do you think, Wuya?”

”A world of lava and fire with black earth and crimson sky. Itʼs the Ancient Inferno. The original world was owned by the Ye Gui race but that world had been destroyed by Celestial Lord Hei a thousand years ago. It no longer exists. Even I havenʼt seen it with my own eyes as it was destroyed before I even ascended to Vearth. But according to the history books what he had said is indeed the Old Land of Inferno,” said Demon General Shi Wuya.

Bai Jin asked, ”What should we do with him?”

”Asked the Venerable Lords themselves. Letʼs bring him over to them,” said Demon General Shi Wuya said.

The two decided to bring Iris to Lord God Ye and have him decide what should be done to this person.

Meanwhile, during the evening. Those who have a home have gone home. Those who donʼt have returned where they are supposed to be. At the usually abandoned warehouse, Poppy and his subordinates had once again met for a meeting but this time there were few people missing.

Poppy spoke, ”Iris and Oleander cannot come?”

”Yes, Iʼve tried contacting them but no one is replying. They might be quite busy on what they are working on,” said Nightshade.

Poppy spoke, ”I know Oleander is busy with his assassination list but what happened with Iris?”

”This... The last time he was here, he said that he finally found the person who stole his money. He left in a hurry and no one knows where he went,” said Nightshade.

Hyacinth spoke, ”That money-grubber. He might be coercing that man whom he caught off now. There was nothing more important to him than money after all.”

”Leader, why have you gathered us tonight? Is there a new mission?” asked Azalea.

Poppy spoke, ”There is. I donʼt want to repeat myself so someone among you should inform Iris and Oleander about the new mission. After this mission, you guys can leave this country and resume your former lives abroad.”

”Poppy, is this the last mission in this country?” asked Nightshade.

Poppy replied, ”It is. Complete the mission and you would be able to go on vacation until the next time I call for you. Datura explains.”

”Yes. Yes sure~” This mad scientist, Datura, brought out two vials of an unknown drug. One is red and the other is blue. ”Iʼve finally completed it. The Ability Enhancer and the Ability Tranquilizer. The red one is able to forcefully awaken oneʼs hidden potential. It would allow one to get a power that is related to their daily lives.

If one successfully awakened their power then that is good but failing to do so would leave one become a mindless ability user. These people who failed would get an enhanced strength and overall prowess while also increasing their blood lust and killing intent. In short, once they failed to awaken they would become mindless murderers.

The blue drug is the only thing that can be used to stop one from berserking. It can fully deter the effect of the Ability Enhancer but only if it was injected within a day after the red drug was used. Letʼs call the red one the Hell Potion and the blue one the ʼHeaven Potionʼ. The composition of this drug is only known to me and my disciple, Yumei. Iʼm planning on taking her back to the main laboratory tonight.”

The explanation left everyone in the room amazed. These two drugs were extremely useful yet deadly at the same time.

Azalea asked, ”Have you tried this on a human?”

”Of course~ Iʼve tried it on myself. It was successful at the first vial of Heavenʼs potion. Iʼve also tried to use it on my mate, Yi Rouya. He failed as expected and I observed the effects and injected the Heaven potion into him as well. The effect is as I explained earlier,” answered Datura.

Hyacinth said, ”You didnʼt inject the Heaven Potion into him within a day, didnʼt you? How is he right now?”

”Well~ he is a bit mindless most of the time but maybe because of our bond he wouldnʼt attack me like others. His overall physique was upgraded because he lost the ability to think like a normal human,” said Datura.

Hyacinth said, ”Whoa~ so cruel~ isnʼt that your fated mate?”

”My fate mate is science alone,” said Datura.

Nightshade asked, ”Whatʼs the mission, Poppy?”

”Spread the drug in different channels. Cause chaos in this whole country. Asked the main laboratory to spread it in the other countries as well. We would sell the Heaven Potion as an antidote once the Chaos interrupted all over the world. Only then would the governments all over the world be forced to accept the existence of the Syndicate and everything would be under our control,” said Poppy.

”For world domination!” said his executives.

Theyʼve started injecting the Hell Potion into their own bodies. The one theyʼve used is a special sample that was created without a side effect. It would fully awaken their abilities with little pain and no possibility of failure. The one their organization would release is the undiluted one with bad effects and the result would be based on the receiverʼs luck of whether he would survive or not.

Somewhere within the warehouse, Hei Yumei was eavesdropping on the meeting of the Syndicate. She was included in the process of making those two drugs her master had presented for tonightʼs meeting and she knew too well how awful those two drugs are. She had also seen the human subjects her master had used drugs too and most of them didnʼt have a peaceful death. Theyʼve become mindless monsters before they were killed on the spot.

Hei Yumei looked at the two drug samples she had secretly taken when her master completed those drugs. Four small vials, undiluted and diluted ones. Now Hei Yumei didnʼt know how she could pass these drugs to her elder brother. Then he looked at the yellow talisman her older brother left in the laboratory this morning.

She had seen how he had used this yellow paper called talisman. This is what her brother used to teleport from one place to another.

Hei Yumei mumbled while looking at the yellow talisman in her hand. ”Maybe, if I give my brother these drug samples I can ask him to save our parents in exchange.”

At Ye Yuyanʼs Condominium Building. The house unit of Hei Yuhua and Ye Yuyan.

The team went home after they finished their jobs this morning. Hei Yuhua showed Ye Yuyan the things Student Fu Miyan had given to him. The whole team was delighted to receive all that information as they knew that with these clues they should be able to capture all of their enemies in one swoop.

There were a lot of surprises that came to them that night. Not only Iris was caught by Bai Jin and Shi Wuya, but theyʼve also even brought Oleander with them. Now they had gathered in the living room with a tense and awkward atmosphere.

Student Fu Miyan and Student Xu Meiji were peeking from their room looking at what was happening in the living room filled with adults.

Xu Meiji heard Fu Tian saying, ”I canʼt believe this. How can Sir Oleander appear in this place? Is he on their side all along?”

”AʼTian, do you know this big brother? He looks um~... Scarier than Prosecutor Ye.” said Xu Meiji.

Fu Tian rolled his eyes at Xu Meiji when he heard how he intimately called his name.

”He is from the Syndicate. The executioner who kills all traitors, Oleander,” said Fu Miyan.

Hearing this Xu Meijiʼs face turned pale and pulled Fu Tian back inside their room and locked the door.

Fu Tian complained, ”What are you...” he was speechless when he saw Xu Meijiʼs expression which was now showing a terrified face. Je watched him block the door with a table and all which made him realize why he is suddenly acting this way.

”Calm down. Since he came here it means he is from this side. Moreover, Agent Y, Prosecutor Ye, and their teams were all outside. They wouldnʼt allow Oleander to touch me,” said Fu Tian as he hugged the frightened Xu Meiji.

The trembling Xu Meiji hugs Fu Tian tightly. He was definitely scared when he learned Fu Tian would be in danger.

Fu Tian said while patting the back of Xu Meiji, ”Calm down. We are safe now. There are adults protecting us. The Syndicate would no longer find me and Mimi.”

”Um, I will be with you no matter what,” said Xu Meiji.

Back in the living room, the adults noticed what the two children had done when they saw Oleander.

Bai Jin teasingly said to his elder brother, ”Ge, those children are afraid of you. Hehe~”

”It would be weirder if they didnʼt. My role in this world is Oleander the Assassin of the Red Poppy Syndicate. They might have thought that I came to an end Fu Tian,” said Bai Yin.

Bai Jin said, ”Thatʼs Geʼs fault, why did you choose a vessel that is from the Villainʼs side? Hmp!”

”My goal is to eliminate that illegal system, this vessel is the most suitable one for me to approach the target but before I did so you stole my job now I donʼt have to pretend anymore,” said Bai Yin.

Hei Yuhua and the other three were a bit tense around Oleander.

”Are you... really a God like Bai Jin?” asked Lou Wei.

Yun Jie asked, ”Which God?”

Bai Yin nodded his head and said, ”A former God of Misfortune. Now I am an Executioner that works for the God System in Vearth. My job is to eliminate illegal systems and destroyers. Completely opposite of this silly brother of mine.”

”Then those who were killed before were all humans or not?” asked Ye Yuyan.

Bai Yin said, ”If you are asking if I know youʼve replaced your relatives with real-life dummies from the System Mall then I know. But the owner doesnʼt know because his system mall had fewer items than a registered system.”

”Let me officially introduce myself. My vessel in this world is the Assassin under the Red Poppy Syndicate, Oleander. My real name is Bai Yin, the God of Misfortune and an Executioner from Vearth. Bai Jinʼs biological brother. This is my system a white dove called Gezi. Nice to meet you all.”
