I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 680: 12.82 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Forgotten Past (1)

Ye Xijaie was focused on watching their past memories of Iris. He had entered the dream world and watched the scenes of the past he didnʼt know. He had already died when these things had happened. He even didnʼt notice that outside, in reality, his wife had woken up waiting for him to return.

In the dream realm, he saw the familiar world in his memories as Ye Xiajie. This was the place he was born and raised. A world that is only filled with fire and lava, even the earth under him is burned. It has become a black and eerie blood-dyed sky with dim sun and few stars.

He saw the battle of Hei Anjing and the Gods that served him against his father, Ye Mo who was accompanied by his mother and another woman. These two goddesses are obviously his wives. Hei Anjing had obviously fallen under a trap as their group was surrounded by people from the Ye Gui race.

Despite being surrounded, the soldiers that protected Hei Anjing werenʼt even losing against the Ye Gui race. But things become dicey when he sees himself appear in the middle of the two groups.

Ye Xiajie murmured, ”How come I donʼt remember this part? Thatʼs right. I donʼt remember what happened during their confrontation and how I died. I thought I died because I lost against that bastard old man. But things donʼt seem to be that simple.”

He watches his figure standing in front of Hei Anjing and his people. He was clearly on their side. After helping his wife fight against his own race the numbers of Ye Guis that surrounds them had lessened greatly weakening Ye Moʼs side. He saw his mother panicking when he appeared and the other woman snickering at him.

Then he heard Ye Mo saying, ”You are bold! Just because we have reached the Peak Celestial God and are stronger than I do doesnʼt mean you can kill me, Xiajie. Have you forgotten about your life mission?”

As if Ye Xiajie and the version of him within the memories synchronized, they both frowned and their faces became dark. Every Ye Gui of the younger generation after Ye Moʼs was forced to surrender a piece of their soul to the clan leader to ensure there wouldnʼt be any traitors as Ye Mo held the reins of the whole race.

This was a new rule that was made after Ye Mo sat on the seat as the Clan Leader of the whole race. The betrayal of some elders and the death of his father had caused their race to weaken. This is to ensure that Ye Mo had the sovereignty within their race and he himself held all their lives in his hands. His children were not even spared and Ye Xiajie, the deemed most capable heir, had the worst mission among all his children. Because he is the strongest among the heir candidates, Ye Mo gave him the life mission that targets a person from the bloodline he hates the most.

Ye Xiajieʼs mission is to Assassinate the youngest descendant of the Mo Clan, Celestial Lord Hei Anjing.

He reminisces about the scene when they first met in Vearth.

In the first place, Ye Xiajie and Gui Xiajun didnʼt enter Vearth just to escape from their raceʼs criticisms. Ye Xiajie wanted to see the target of his life mission and decide what to do afterward but who would have expected that the first time he met Hei Anjing in the God Systemʼs Plaza everything would be out of control.

His heart, which was frozen all this time, suddenly started. As if Hei Anjing was the only person in his world and he could only see him. The fate between them doesnʼt seem too simple. He also didnʼt know why... This cold-hearted man that was rumored to be a person of few words and an aloof prince of ice would suddenly meet his eyes.

Within those exquisite silver, orbs were emotions that he couldnʼt understand himself. There was longing, deep affection, and extreme delight when looking at him. Based on Hei Anjingʼs reaction alone, he seems to have known him for the longest. Even he himself had felt a deja vu, but sadly he couldnʼt remember anything and this just left Ye Xiajie frightened.

It was because of this that he ignored the sprouting feelings in his life and choose to distance himself from Hei Anjing. A fear that appeared within his soul is caused not only by his life mission. There was something else. Because he couldnʼt understand, Ye Xiajie chose to ignore him despite liking him.

But who would have thought that after that meeting Hei Anjing would continue to approach him? He would greet him almost every day and send him presents. Such a rare occasion was heard by everyone in Vearth. What was weird is that everyone had accepted Hei Anjingʼs actions like it was normal. It was only then Ye Xiajie heard about the Mo Bloodline and the importance of the other half to their clan.

To everyone else in Vearth, obviously, Ye Xiajie was chosen by Hei Anjing as his future other half. After hearing that the Mo Bloodlineʼs sole weakness happens to be involved with their other half, the fear in Ye Xiajie deepens even more and he avoids Hei Anjing much more until they rarely see each other for hundreds of years. Despite such obvious avoidance, Hei Anjing didnʼt stop looking for him. He would casually peek in secret and would see sadness within those beautiful argent eyes making it even harder for Ye Xiajie.

He had no other choice but to disappear somewhere. Until Hei Anjingʼs feelings for him fade. To keep him safe from himself, there was no other choice but to completely separate. Because of this Hei Anjing chooses to come back to his world. The land of fire and lava, an SS-class world called Inferno. This is where the Ye Gui race lives and hides after their whole race was kicked out of Vearth.

But destiny didnʼt let things end that way, Hei Anjing who was doing his Executioner mission received one for this world. He didnʼt even know that Ye Xiajie and the Ye Gui Race lived here. But rumors about the Ye Gui raceʼs crown. Prince was living in this world and had been tipped to the God System. So they had sent their strongest executioner, Celestial Lord Hei.

At that time the God of Destruction didnʼt know that his target, the Crown Prince of the Ye Gui race, was someone he knew too well. It was the only person who had melted his frozen heart, the being who had seen in his dreams dying before him, and the only man who had protected him ever since he was a child but gone missing as he grew up.

Everyone says that the God of Void had returned to the abyss. Some say he had died but more say he had just disappeared somewhere and didnʼt want to get involved with the people who live outside the abyss. Hei Anjing once asked his Uncle Siwang, the one who was said to have the strongest connection with the God of Void.

But when Hei Anjing asked about things regarding the God of Void, Shen Siwang only spoke two sentences.

Shen Siwang said, ”The seal is broken?! You remember him already!”

It was just a slip of tongue from his uncleʼs husband. But before he could ask further what Shen Siwangʼa words meant his Uncle Baojun had taken him away. These actions meant clearly that he wasnʼt allowed to ask any further and Hei Anjing gave up asking. It was almost impossible for someone to make his Uncle Baojun open his mouth to say something he is hiding.

But just based on Shen Siwangʼs words, obviously, the God of Void had connections to him. He wanted to investigate but most information about Supreme God Xia Jieye had been taken away by his Uncle Baojun and there is only one place that might know or have information about Supreme God Xia and that is his strange connection with the Ye Gui race. This is why Hei Anjing accepted the mission to eliminate the Crown Prince of the Ye Gui race and come to Inferno.

Who would think things would end in a war that involves huge changes in the lives of Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie?

Upon entering Inferno, Hei Anjing who had just arrived in this world was testing the new existence they call systems. He is one of the beta testers and as expected errors cannot be avoided. Hei Anjing was supposed to enter the best vessel that will not restrain much of his powers but in the process of soul integration, his soul was pulled into a weak vessel that completely restrained his divinity making him as weak as ordinary humans.

More things happen afterward and Hei Anjing had no other choice but to continue his mission in this weak vessel. But during his mission, he never expected that his heart would once again move. He thought that he would only love the person called Ye Xiajie his whole life but the thought of Xia Jieye his heart ached so much and now meeting a young demon in Inferno his heart was once again moved.

Hei Anjing never thought that his heart would be quite fickle as everyone knows that the Mo Bloodline can only choose one to love in their eternity. He himself couldnʼt understand. Why would he yearn for Ye Xiajie at first sight, why would his heart ache thinking of Xia Jieye and why would his heart be moved in front of an ordinary demon who called himself Gui Xia?

In the end, Hei Anjing couldnʼt help but indulge in it. Gui Xia is different from the other two men in his heart. He isnʼt missing like Xia Jieye nor avoided him like a plague as Ye Xiajie did. Instead, Gui Xia would care for him, protect him and pamper him. He had no other choice but to be intoxicated, this love made Hei Anjing want to indulge more. He wanted more, no he wanted everything. He wanted Gui Xia.

From the perspective of the hidden subordinate of Hei Anjing, Ye Xiajie watched the scenes of the past he had forgotten.

Ye Xiajie could feel himself flattered yet annoyed. How come the him in this memory is able to be happy beside his wife when all he did was hide the fact he is Ye Xiajie and used another persona as Gui Xia? Whatʼs the worst is that both he and Hei Anjing did not realize each otherʼs identity and choose to fall in love as they hide both their real identities.

Ye Xiajie mumbled with intense pain in his heart, ”Why... Why is it that we can only love each other by hiding real identities behind another mask and cannot be together with our real selves.”

He can only watch as the version of himself and his wife living in fulfilling happiness all these years. It was as short as a human lifespan but they had truly freely loved each other in this world.

But the peace was suddenly broken when Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing were forced to return to their original identities. Ye Xiajie is the Crown Prince of the Ye Gui Race, after Ye Mo found out about the existence of the outsider entering their world he ordered its elimination. Yr Xiajie as the crown prince of their race had no other choice but to agree but when he saw that his target was his lover he felt the heavens had fallen and his whole soul was burned in hell. He couldnʼt believe it. He chose to love this person because he was so sure that this manʼs feelings for him were real.

But now reality is telling him that he is an outsider using a vessel from their world. In short, this is someone from Vearth. As the deemed strongest executioner in Vearth there is only one person and that was Celestial Lord Hei whom he was avoiding to protect all this time.

Ye Xiajie had hesitated to kill someone once again.

Unknown to him, Hei Anjingʼs situation is also the same as his. His system had finally found out the identity of the crown prince of the Ye Gui race. He himself was shocked to see the information about his target. It was the demon whom he thought was ordinary but in the end, this person he loved all this time happened to be the same person he was yearning for all this time.

For the first time in his life, Hei Anjing felt he was a fool. Fate played his life. In his deep sadness, the seal that restrained his memories of the past was broken. This is the seal Shen Siwang and placed on him in the wish of his brother, Xia Jieye before he entered reincarnation. Memories of his childhood had returned to him, he saw a man that looked exactly like Ye Xijaie yet looked more mature and with crimson eyes appeared.

Waves of memories of his forgotten past returned to him. Only then did Hei Anjing remember that the Supreme God of Void had died to protect him and that Ye Xiajie is his reincarnation after he died.

Hei Anjing felt insane with happiness. Only now did he know that his heart was never fickle. He had only loved one person in all his life even after he was born in this world.

”I see... the curse of my bloodline. To only love one person for our whole eternity is real.”
