I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 663: 12.65 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Poppyʼs Identity.

The group of four ended up eating dinner together as they continued their conversation at the dining table. A hotpot feast was served in the middle and everyone could serve themselves but all four people were couples. Most of the time Ye Yuyan and Lou Wei feed their mates and serve them food.

Hei Yuhua was the first one to speak within the group.

He says, ”System Yang told me that the God of Wealth and his system had seen the true face of the hidden villain and his system. But at the moment, they were busy fighting that said system with the hidden villain. After they left yesterday, it seems that the system of the hidden villain had gone after the two of them and until now there isnʼt any message coming from their end.”

”This means that the enemy has no support right now?” asked Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua responded, ”Must be. Maybe it was because of this that the executives of that Syndicate are now showing their heads instead of their tails. That man... must have wanted to use everything in his power to destroy our past life.”

”But what can he get from destroying us? Doesnʼt this world enter in a loop whenever the two of you die?” asked Yun Jie.

Wei Lou said, ”That sounds weird indeed.”

System Yue suddenly appeared and explained things to them.

[He might need the negative energy coming from everyone in this world. For the main protagonists like Ye Yuyan and Hua Yuhua, the level of emotions would be stronger as you are the beloved sons of this world. We, System, need a certain resource to continue living. Think of it as food, we need to get it to continue existing. I and System Yang had no problems. Our lives are connected to the life of our masters. We wouldnʼt disappear as long as they are alive.]

[But this system is different, he was born under the natural laws of this world. He needs to get involved in this world to keep living. It seems he had chosen negative emotions as his source of food. He would continue doing so until he ascended to the Highest Upper Realm. But evil beings get stronger faster but are forbidden to enter Vearth without permission. He just hadnʼt known that.]

[I do not know how much he had reset this world and treated everyone in it as livestock. He especially like Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua. He grinds your life experience and makes you feel what it is like to live in hell. But a system not born in Vearth had no emotions, so he could only use that hidden villain to plant the seeds of sufferings to the two of you and slowly grind you and kills you in the end for a new life cycle.]

System Yue explained the current situation of the enemies for the four to understand. Though they didnʼt know what kind of place is Vearth? How to ascend? Or the reason why this keeps happening. Now they know why they were forced to relive their lives an unknown number of times.

Hei Yuhua asked, ”We were killed just to increase his energy!?”

”Since that system can be considered God in this world, would the God of Wealth and his system who were stalked gonna alright?” asked Ye Yuyan.

System Yue answers, [Donʼt worry about that pair. Non-combat Gods are always paired with War Gods or Demon Gods. You guys should focus on informing your family members about the hidden dangers of the possibility of them being targeted by the Red Poppy Syndicate.]

Lou Wei said, ”I had the cars ready.”

”The routes were also covered up and prepared,” said Yun Jie.

Ye Yuyan said, ”Letʼs go.”

Only then did all four of them head to the Prime Ministerʼs mansion to inform them about the incoming danger to their lives.

---

Meanwhile at the same abandoned warehouse where Datura had taken Inspector Yi Rouya.

The rest of the Red Poppy Syndicate had gathered except for Hydrangea. Datura was waiting at the gathering area, sitting comfortably on one of the couches with Inspector Yi Rouya seated beside him like a good and quiet wife. One could see clear bite marks on his nape where his glands as omega are located. He was dazed and only had Datura in his eyes as if he was drugged by some kind of love drug or something.

So when Nightshade, Iris, Oleander, Azalea, and Hyacinth arrived this was the scene they had seen.

The right hand of the Leader, Nightshade, spoke, ”What is that thing beside you, Datura?”

”Hm~ isnʼt that the Inspector from the Police Headquarters that was hated by Prosecutor Ye Yuyan the most?” said Iris, the informant, and hacker.

Oleander, the killer, spoke, ”Donʼt make me receive the elimination order from Poppy with you as the target, Datura.”

”No way~ Iʼm one of the most useful pawns of the Poppy Leader. He wouldnʼt kill me just yet~” replied Datura.

The Witch doctor Azalea noticed the scent of pheromones coming from Inspector Yi Rouya and said, ”Youʼve marked him and itʼs the permanent mark. Youʼve inputted too much of your pheromones to him and made him bloated. Look at his eyes itʼs in a daze and a state of intoxication. Is he your fated mate?”

When the word fated mate was mentioned, everyone was silent for a moment and looked at Datura. They could see his eyes full of fanatical expression and excitement as if he found the most precious subject in his life.

Datura responded to Azaleaʼs question with a crazy smile and said, ”Yes. I found him the greatest subject of my life. I would now be able to concoct a drug that can erase the feelings of the bond between mates.”

”Okay. He is a mad doctor and itʼs certified,” mumbles Iris.

”Wow~ our mad doctor has finally completely gone bad~ Didnʼt the leader summon all of us today? I wonder how he would react about this Datura~” said Hyacinth, the sweet talker with his usual coquettish voice.

Datura was pissed hearing Hyacinthʼs obvious jeering.

”What do you know? It was the leader who told me to kidnapped subject #0,” said Datura.

Nightshade said, ”Poppy said to bring that Inspector over and not kidnap him. You have to let that one return to the police Headquarters and make him work as a spy for us.”

”Eh~ Iʼm only halfway through the experiment,” said Datura.

Nightshade said, ”No one is preventing you from seeing him but he needs to come back to the Police Headquarters before he gets reported missing. Arenʼt you currently on the mission at that high school? I heard those students youʼve chosen are now under the surveillance of Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and his team.”

”No worries. Fu Tian cannot be caught that easily. The rest of the students were just baits for them to get Prosecutor Ye Yuyan on the field.” said Datura.

”Is that the leaderʼs order? Thatʼs a bit weird. I thought we werenʼt supposed to get involved with that Prosecutor directly,” said Iris.

”I know right? But the Poppy Leader gave me a call yesterday to make a situation where I can have direct contact with Ye Yuyan,” said Datura.

”I did that for a purpose. I called everyone here for that very same thing.” said the voice that was coming from the entrance of the room. Clearly, the speaker had just arrived.

Then suddenly they heard a callous and cold voice coming from behind them. When the executives saw who it was they hurriedly lowered their heads in greeting.

”Greetings to the leader (Poppy)!” everyone collectively said.

These notorious executives of the Red Poppy Syndicate are now like tamed puppies in front of this man who just arrived. All the people who had gathered in this area already knew about Poppyʼs appearance but among them, there was one that did not. Inspector Yi Rouya who was under the intoxication of his alphaʼs pheromones just now was jolted awake when his man left his side. He regained a bit of his sanity and saw his man together with the rest of the people in the room to be so respectful of the man who had just arrived.

When he saw the face of the said leader of the Red Poppy Syndicate, Inspector Yi Rouya was in disbelief. He didnʼt expect that he knew this man these notorious criminals treated as a leader. Inspector Yi Rouya was in great denial. He didnʼt want to believe what he was seeing.

Inspector Yi Rouya looked like he had gone crazy seeing the face of Poppy.

”No. NO! I donʼt believe it. How can it be you!? Impossible! No, I donʼt believe this. Iʼm only seeing things. You cannot be that Poppy!!” Exclaimed Inspector Yi Rouya as he tried to suddenly grab Poppyʼs collar.

But before he could even grab Poppyʼs collar the executives behind him had all moved. Inspector Yi Rouya didnʼt even react when Nightshade twisted his arms behind him, locking them to his back. Azalea even injected a tranquilizer and inhibitor into him.

Nightshade said with icy eyes, ”You are quite bold, Inspector Yi Rouya. What do you treat us as? Air?”

”Iʼve injected a tranquilizer and inhibitor on him. Datura youʼve injected too much pheromones in him so intoxicated that he almost couldnʼt think straight,” commented Azalea.

Slapped!

Datura slapped Inspector Yi Rouya awake, ”How dare you do that to the leader. You donʼt want your hands anymore!”

Inspector Yi Rouya can feel his mateʼs rage assault his whole being. He felt lost as he couldnʼt understand why the alpha who is fated to love him and pamper him treat him like this. Arenʼt fated mates supposed to be an unbreakable bond between two souls?

”No. Itʼs not like that. Darling, I... You are supposed to be on my side!” said Inspector Yi Rouya.

Datura looked at him with eyes full of disdain, completely breaking his heart and hope. ”So what if you are my fated mate? As long as oneʼs will is greater than instincts, you wouldnʼt be controlled by subconscious instincts. I, Datura, at least donʼt believe I cannot control my feelings and emotions. The fated mate you keep talking about could never tie me down.”

Inspector Yi Rouya heard something in him break whether it was his heart or his soul no one could say what it was. But the paleness of his skin had become evident. As if he had lost his will to live after losing the love of his mate. He suddenly turned quiet and wordless.

The witch doctor Azalea who is a well-known doctor was also proficient in the field of psychology and noticed the changes in Inspector Yi Rouyaʼs Psychology.

”If you donʼt want your mate to become suicidal stop talking Datura. He had already entered the Denial state to extreme depression,” said Azalea.

Poppy also noticed the changes in Inspector Yi Rouya and said, ”Datura, take away your mate. He cannot be used in his current state. You need to make him voluntarily do what you want him to do. Only then that would be useful.”

”Understood, Poppy Leader!” said Datura as he carried away the stunned Inspector Yi Rouya who is now no different from a broken puppet in his arms.

”Everyone take your seats. We are continuing the meeting,” said Poopy.

No one called Poppyʼs real name or declined any of his orders. Except for Datura, the other executives had taken a seat after Poppy took the only single couch in the room.

Nightshade looks like a young lady in love while staring at Poppy. Since she was saved by him in the past, she had always been loyal to Poppy. To Nightshade no one is more important to her than this savior of her. He is her hero and her source of light.

”Why did you suddenly summon all of us out of nowhere, Poppy? Should I call you officer instead?” asked Nightshade with a flirty voice.

Only when it comes to Poppy wouldnʼt she lose to that man in drag, Hyacinth, in being coquettish when talking to her beloved and God.

They had long known the real identity of Poppy being an ordinary officer in the Police Department. Poppy had been undercover ever since he was young. He left the international missions to Nightshade and let her control the Syndicate instead of him. He only needs to issue some orders through a video call and the extremely loyal Nightshade would move for him.

The usual kindness and innocence that Officer Ying Wu portrays when working with Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and the Police department had completely disappeared at this moment.

The naivety he shows when working as a police officer is now replaced with a passionless face and an indifferent demeanor. He looks sluggish and bored yet within those eyes is a strong hatred that was hidden in the depths of his eyes. His gaze looks like he was looking at something that only he can see but his executives had been used to this kind of Poppy.

Inherently cold and indifferent as if life and death matter had nothing to do with him. No one would believe he is the infamous Poppy wanted in numerous countries.

Ying Wu spoke, ”You can call me my real name at times like this Nightshade.”

”Okay. Poppy no... I should call you Ying Su instead.” said Nightshade with a beautiful smile on her face.
