I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 691: 12.93 Unknown Star - Modern ABO World: Second Case - Poppy on run.

Morning…

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and Papa Hei were scolded badly by their wives while drinking a bowl of hangover soup. Afterward, the family ate breakfast together and had a peaceful family meal for the first time. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan told his wife to take the rest of the day off but Hei Yuhua didnʼt agree. He told them that if they wasted the opportunity, they had right now Poppy and his executives would definitely be able to escape. It is better to clean them all up than let a possible danger slip through the net.

Hei Yuhua said, ”Iʼm not going to rest. We need to capture them all. You cannot do it alone. It is better to focus on what we need to do than waste our opportunity right now. The rest... can wait after the mission is completed.”

He wipes his mouth after eating his meal ignoring everyone elseʼs reaction. The others were silent and knew that they couldnʼt make Hei Yuhua change his decision.

Hei Yumei spoke up and asked, ”B-Brother! After the Red Poppy Syndicate leaders and executives are caught, can... Can you live with us for a while?”

”Okay. I promise,” said Hei Yuhua.

He then looked at his husband and said, ”AʼYan, you didnʼt return to the bedroom last night so I didnʼt inform you. Youʼve received a message from Police Director Yu Xi. I suggest that you check on him. Though he might have already run away with Poppy. I will need to contact Aster to close all routes to leave the country for the two of them. Iʼm sorry but Iʼm putting Yu Xi and Ying Su under wanted status.”

Hei Yuhua said before walking away to get back to the Masterʼs bedroom and contact Aster as his reinforcement. Now that two of the executives had defected to their side and one had been captured means there is only the leader and three more executives on the run.

Meanwhile, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan was stunned by what he heard. His head was immediately forgotten as he grabbed the phone his wife left on the table. He saw the pictures Yu Xi had to send last night. He was extremely familiar with most things in the photo and his expression turned serious as more time passed by. System Yue who was seeing through everything commented as he saw the props and tools in the photo, he is more familiar with these things as he controls the system mall.

System Yue said, [Wow~ thatʼs a lot of healing stones, all kinds of talismans and there is even a Resurrection stone in there. That last one is extremely expensive. It cost at least half a million points.]

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan asked, ʼWhat is a Resurrection Stone, System Yue?ʼ

[As the name suggests, it brings a person back to life. But the Resurrection Stone on his head is already registered by his blood. It means Ying Su had an extra life on his own. You should be careful.] explained System Yue.

Another voice can be heard in Prosecutor Ye Yuyanʼs head but this voice can also be heard by System Yue. It was Lord God Ye.

{I need that stone. It would be helpful to Jingʼer if I converted that stone into something useful for my wife. Get it for me and I will help you awaken your ability as your wife does. Zhi Yue will help you track it. The Teleportation Talisman on their hands cannot be used for long-distance like going to other countries. But it was useful for any places in this country which is why I would limit it to somewhere in this city instead which is better for your case. Following Zhi Yue will most likely allow you to meet the two who are on the run.}

System Yue responded, [As Milord commanded. This Zhi Yue would help Ye Yuyan capture the owner of the Resurrection Stone.]

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan said, ʼI will do it as well.ʼ

After the conversation in his mind had halted, he looked at the Hei Family looking at him. They also have helpless smiles on their faces and know that Prosecutor Ye Yuyan also has a job to do.

”Er~ I...”

”No need to explain, son. I, your mom, and your younger sister will follow your arrangements and join your family to hide on the island as you suggested last night. Huaʼer is right. Letting the Red Poppy Syndicate on loose would be extremely dangerous.” Papa Hei.

Mama Hei held Ye Yuyanʼs hand and said, ”Child, can you promise mom that you and Huaʼer would be careful? Mom is very worried something might happen. Keep these amulets and give one to Huaʼer for me.”

”Brother Ye, please be careful. Datura is very cunning and ruthless. He might sacrifice himself just to end his enemies,” said Hei Yumei.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan smiled and ruffled Yumeiʼs hair, ”We will be careful. Donʼt worry I will protect Yuʼer.”

After a short preparation, the family of three gathered in the living with their things. Ye Yuyan and Hei Yuhua were there to send them off. They would be using a Teleportation Talisman for faster means. The Hei Family hugs the two men in front of them and bids their farewell. Mama Hei is especially emotional.

”Baby, be careful. If you are in danger just run away, okay? Mama will wait for you to come home.”

”Honey, calm down. Youʼre scaring Huaʼer.” Papa Hei said.

”Big Brother, be careful around Datura. All these years he complained to me how much he hates you. We would do anything just to harm you. Canʼt you leave that man to your brother-in-law instead?”

Hei Yuhua felt overwhelmed this time. He stiffens under the warmth coming from the hug of these people who call these families. He wanted to move away but his husband was blocking his way of retreat and had no other but to let them hug him until they were all satisfied. After half an hour they finally calmed down and left. Hei Yuhua and Ye Yuyan watch them disappear in thin air.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan pulled his wife for a hug and kissed his forehead.

”Donʼt worry. We will see them again soon. After everything is over, we can all live together in one house with both of our parents.”

”...I donʼt seem to hate them as I thought so,” said Hei Yuhua.

Prosecutor Ye Yuyan said, ”Of course, you wouldnʼt. Not only they didnʼt abandon you as you thought but they also love you much more than you know. You canʼt hate a family like that.”

”Will... Will they like our Huahua?” asked Hei Yuhua.

”They will! Our daughter is the most adorable and the prettiest baby in the world,” proclaimed Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua chuckles at his husbandʼs reaction and lightly hits his chest.

”Donʼt be silly~ haha~”

After a round of flirting this married couple left and headed to the underground prison. They wanted to interrogate Nightshade. Bai Yin and Iris returned to the abandoned warehouse to watch over Datura. Bai Jin and Shi Wuya were tasked to capture Azalea and Hyacinth. The former were Gods so capturing these two would be a childʼs play.

In Asterʼs Headquarters.

”Send orders to all agents. Keep in mind the appearances of Poppy and Yu Xi. As well as the executives who werenʼt captured yet. After half a day spread the evil things Datura had done in this country. I wanted him to be hated by all people not only in this country but in the whole world.”

Director Wei received the information about Ying Su and Yu Xi. After hearing the situation from Agent Y, he immediately issued a wanted status for these two people. The pictures of these two plus their details were all spread all around the city for everyone to see. Now Ying Su and Yu Xi were wanted criminals on the run. The airports and sea docks would be extremely strict with their inspections not allowing these two to have the opportunity to leave the country whether it was in a legal or illegal way.

He also included pictures of the remaining three executives of the Red Poppy Syndicate. Photos of Datura, Azalea, and Hyacinth were also shared with all agents on duty.

News flashes with information about the two runaway criminals. There are lots of people from the police department who recognized both Ying Su and Police Director Yu Xi.

”What Police Officer Ying Wu was Ying Su all this time?!”

”District Director Yu had betrayed us!? He had chosen a criminal over Prosecutor Ye! The upper echelons were raging mad. I heard they would be calling back Prosecutor Ye and let him handle this case.”

”I can believe this! Why did District Director Yu betray us for being an international criminal? They say Ying Su was the leader of the notorious Red Poppy Syndicate!”

”Fudge! This is scary. Doesnʼt this mean Iʼve been working with a criminal undercover all these years!? Shivers*”

”What the hell!? Is this for real!? I heard that the real Ying Wu was also alive and is now living with his parents. That funeral from a few years before was fake done by Ying Su. Ying Wu was sickly all this time and was in a coma for years. He had recently woken up and learned that his younger twin brother had taken over his identity.”

The one above is the excuse Ye Yuyan and the rest made for people to be able to accept Ying Wuʼs sudden rebirth. Only the Ying Family and Ye Yuyanʼs side knew what really happened. Of course, Ying Su also knew about it as Yu Xi told him about Ying Wu coming back to life by someone from Ye Yuyanʼs side. When Ying Su heard about this, he was stunned for a long time as he felt horrified. His brother being brought back to life was something even his White Snake system could not do. For someone or something to be able to do such a mystical event, Ying Su is afraid that Gods exist in this world.

Back to Ye Yuyanʼs Condominium Building.

In the underground prison, some police officers had gathered in the building to take over the former personnel of the hidden laboratory under the Red Poppy Syndicate. All scientists were brought back and were under the protection of the government. They would sign contracts of secrecy and the government would give them new identities while serving the country. Thanks to Hei Yuhua working as a middleman, the restrictions on them were lessened. As long as they stay in the country under protection, they are free to do anything they want as long as it isnʼt illegal. The only downside is that they arenʼt allowed to leave the country without a person from above.

The scientists were delighted with this result and thanked Prosecutor Ye Yuyan as they were still very afraid of Hei Yuhua. Only the older generation fearlessly showed their gratitude to Agent Y. The reason they can go back to their family is that this young man had fought for their rights.

After that, all the minions of the Red Poppy Syndicate surrendered to the government. Some were sentenced to the death penalty for the case of murder, some ended with life imprisonment and some were jailed for a few years as they didnʼt do anything excessive.

Meanwhile, with Hei Yuhuaʼs authority as Agent Y, he had given Oleander and Iris some new background. They were placed under his name working under his commands as undercover agents. So, when Aster agents learned about this, they started to look at Oleander and Iris as comrades who were willing to erase their background just so they could serve the country better. The news about them being undercover agents under Agent Y made them famous at the same time free of the label of being called criminals.

A lot of things happened and fate finally started leaning on the side of Prosecutor Ye Yuyan and his team. Things are completely different from their past lives. Before it would always be Ying Su and his syndicate winning all the time. Now, this is the first time his memories of all those past lives had ended up useless as the original plot had completely broken. The only similar thing from the past is that Yu Xi is always by his side no matter what happens.
