“I’m not leaving, then,” Lan Qiyue said with a smile.

Just now, she insisted on leaving with Lu Ye, but she changed her mind when he agreed to it.

“I’m really not leaving.” Lan Qiyue kept a smile on her face. “You have a point, Senior Brother. I used to be one of those pregnant women who suffered miserably. Now that I have the power to make a positive change, I can’t turn a blind eye to their suffering. By staying here and expanding the territory, I can protect even more Humans.”

Only then did Lu Ye realise Lan Qiyue wasn’t insistent on leaving with him. She just wanted to find out if Lu Ye was willing to take her with him. After she got the confirmation, it no longer mattered whether she would leave with him.

“But Senior Brother, give me three days. No, five days. Please only leave after five days,” Lan Qiyue pleaded.

“Alright.” Lu Ye nodded but didn’t ask what she was going to do.

Lan Qiyue soon left the place. Lu Ye could sense that she had left Thousand Streams Paradise on her own. It was a wonder where she was going.

Five days soon passed as Lan Qiyue returned on time. Her clothes were slightly covered with dust, so it was apparent that she had travelled to a faraway place.

“Senior Brother.” Lan Qiyue fished out something from her clothes and expanded it before Lu Ye’s eyes. “It’s a rough map of this world.”

Lu Ye’s eyes brightened at once. He had thought about getting a map of this world, but the item was rare, and he had no idea how to get one. It was a wonder where Lan Qiyue found it. She had left the place for five days for this matter.

When Lu Ye looked at the map, he saw a continent that was shaped like a gourd. This was similar to what he saw when he came to this world while his soul was elevated.

Lan Qiyue pointed at the top of the map. “This is where we are. After you leave this place, remember to go South.”

“Why?” Lu Ye was puzzled.

Lan Qiyue pressed her lips together. After some hesitation, she said, “That’s because there’s a great force built by Humans in the South. They have the power to go against the Blood Race. You’ll only be safe by going there.”

Lu Ye was shocked. “Are you sure?”

Lan Qiyue nodded with a solemn expression. “I only heard about this from a Blood Race member a month ago.” She then put on a mischievous smile. “I already killed the Blood Race member who had told me about this.”

It was apparent that she didn’t want Lu Ye to know this so that he wouldn’t think about leaving.

She had realised that Lu Ye wouldn’t stay there forever. Therefore, when he said he needed to tell her something several days ago, she became agitated.

Since she couldn’t make him stay, she knew he was determined to leave. In that case, there was no point in continuing to hide the information from him. At the very least, she had to let Lu Ye have a clear goal and direction so that he wouldn’t wander around Blood Refinement Boundary without any clues.

Lu Ye looked dazedly at the map while his emotions undulated within him. This was the best news he had heard in the five months he had stayed in Blood Refinement Boundary.

During this period, he had seen too many Humans suffering. He thought all the Humans in this world were in a miserable state and this world was fully controlled by the Blood Race.

It wasn’t until now that he discovered there was still hope for the Humans in the darkness. The bewilderment he had felt in the past five months was gone.

“Where is it?” he asked.

Lan Qiyue’s slender fingers moved further down the map. “As you go South, you’ll pass through the median line of Sky Propping Peak and Jade Pillar Peak. These are the two highest mountains in Blood Refinement Boundary. After that, you have to keep going South.”

A moment later, she pointed at a particular spot on the map. “Divine Palace Sea is where the Human great force is located.”

Lu Ye took a look at Sky Propping Peak and Jade Pillar Peak before shifting his attention to Divine Palace Sea on the map. Suddenly, he had a strange feeling. The shape of Blood Refinement Boundary looked like something. He soon cast the idea away, not wanting to think too deeply about it.

“The Blood Race members in the South and the Humans in Divine Palace Sea are always at war, so you have to be careful when you go there.”

“I got it.” Lu Ye nodded and picked up the map before looking dazedly at Divine Palace Sea. Suddenly, he lifted his head and glanced at Lan Qiyue. “What are you doing?”

Lan Qiyue ran her fingers over her arm and formed a cut. Blood was seen squirming in her wound but nothing streamed out of it. What was strange was that her blood was gold, not red.

She extended a finger and jabbed it into her wound. Soon, she took out a round jade the size of a coin. The jade radiated a golden glow as though it was filled with the woman’s holy blood.

After the round jade was taken out, the wound on Lan Qiyue’s arm squirmed and healed.

This was a unique power of the Blood Race. They were well-versed in all sorts of Blood Techniques, so ordinary flesh wounds wouldn’t hurt them. Those wounds would heal quickly. As a Holy Seed, Lan Qiyue’s restorative power was much greater than that of an ordinary Blood Race member.

After the round jade left her body, her aura weakened significantly.

“I started preparing it two months ago. I thought you’d stay for a longer time. Since you’re leaving now, I have no choice but to take it out. This Holy Blood Jade contains a bit of my aura, so it can intimidate ordinary Blood Race members. However, it’s not so effective against Blood Race members in the Divine Ocean Realm due to the limitations of my cultivation. You have to be careful when you use it.”

Then, she passed the Holy Blood Jade which she had nurtured using her holy blood to Lu Ye.

Lu Ye took the item with a heavy heart. Since the item was prepared two months ago, it showed that Lan Qiyue had realised Lu Ye would leave one day. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have prepared this item for him.

It also showed that Lan Qiyue had never planned on leaving with him. She knew what Lu Ye was worried about, so she had to stay there and protect the Humans in the territory as a Holy Seed.

“Senior Brother, please take care of yourself,” Lan Qiyue said sincerely. Lu Ye nodded in response.

Around two hours later, Lan Qiyue hovered in the sky above Thousand Streams Paradise and watched Lu Ye leave.

Since Lu Ye had decided to leave, he wouldn’t delay taking action. It was inevitable for friends to part ways at some point. After learning about the Human great force in Divine Palace Sea from Lan Qiyue, Lu Ye had a feeling that he could find the answer to the question that had been bugging him for a few months once he reached there.

Besides Dao Thirteen, he had also taken Yu Lingfeng with him. It was inconvenient for two Humans to wander around Blood Refinement Boundary. Yu Lingfeng could serve as a cover-up. If they came across other Blood Race members, they would automatically be regarded as Yu Lingfeng’s Blood Slaves. Only they knew who was actually the Master.

Lu Ye summoned his Spirit Boat, and Dao Thirteen drove it.

When they passed by Cangnan Village, Lu Ye gave it some thought and told Dao Thirteen to make a detour so that they would stop outside the village.

As he scanned the surroundings with his Divine Ego, he discovered that the villagers were happier compared with several months ago when he first arrived. They also no longer looked anxious all the time.

Ever since Zhang Julai of Bright Moon Cave Mansion announced that no blood meals should be harmed a few months ago, no Humans were killed by the Blood Race again.

Now, those from Cangnan Village just had to provide a certain amount of blood at regular intervals.

This couldn’t be helped. Blood Race members had an innate desire for blood. Telling them not to suck blood right out of blood meals was the limit. If they weren’t even allowed to drink blood drawn out in advance, they would kick up a storm.

Even a Holy Seed like Lan Qiyue never thought about changing it as it wasn’t achievable.

After observing the village from the outside for a while, they continued with their journey. Dao Thirteen could drive the Spirit Boat fast. It only took them one day to leave the territory of Thousand Streams Paradise.

As they were going South this time, Lu Ye wasn’t in a hurry to head to his destination because it was too far away.

They were now in the Northern region of Blood Refinement Boundary, whereas Divine Palace Sea was in the South. If they wanted to go to Divine Palace Sea, they had to traverse across the entire Blood Refinement Boundary.

Even with Dao Thirteen driving the Spirit Boat, they couldn’t arrive at their destination in a few days. Lu Ye estimated that it would take them a few months to do so.

Moreover, they weren’t just on the move. Whenever they came across some Blood Race members, Lu Ye would kill them.

Blood Crystals were the only source of cultivation resources for him now, so he naturally wouldn’t let the Blood Race members off the hook.

When he was in Thousand Streams Paradise back then, he had thought about looking for a ley line to cultivate his power. If he could find it, his cultivation would increase rapidly.

After several attempts, he had found nothing. In the end, he came to a conclusion he felt helpless about. The Blood River was the ley line of Blood Refinement Boundary. Although he could find a Blood Pond in many places, he couldn’t easily refine the power, which was a shame.

Five days after they left the territory of Thousand Streams Paradise, they arrived at another Paradise.

Yu Lingfeng led the way while Lu Ye and Dao Thirteen followed him and pretended to be his Blood Slaves.

Before they even went near the Paradise, a patroller stopped them and asked loudly, “Where are you from? What are you doing here?”

Yu Lingfeng replied according to Lu Ye’s instructions, “We’re homeless, so we’re here to join your Paradise. Please inform your higher-ups about it.”

The Blood Race member doubtfully sized up Yu Lingfeng. Since the other man didn’t seem to be lying, he said, “Stay here.”

He then turned around and looked for the higher-ups. A moment later, a more powerful Blood Race member came over and conversed with Yu Lingfeng before leading him into the Paradise.

Soon enough, the Real Lake Realm Masters in charge of this Paradise gathered together in the Council Hall as they were seated on both sides.

This Paradise had an ample heritage. It was much stronger than Thousand Streams Paradise before Lu Ye took control of it.

The person at the head was the Paradise Master of this Paradise.

The internal strife between the Blood Race members was frequent. Some defeated Blood Race members had nowhere else to go, so they could only join another Paradise. Therefore, the Blood Race members in the hall didn’t doubt Yu Lingfeng’s statement. They thought he was truly there to join them.

Also, they couldn’t underestimate Yu Lingfeng since he was an Eighth-Order Real Lake Realm Master.

If such a Blood Race member joined their Paradise, their heritage would be strengthened.

Generally, these Blood Race members welcomed the arrival of Yu Lingfeng.
