All Blood Race members had left Thousand Streams Paradise to wage a war. Only Lu Ye and the pregnant women sent to this place from various Cave Mansions were left there.

These women couldn’t be sent away. Before they gave birth to blood foetuses, they had to stay there. Only after blood foetuses were born would they be sent to nearby villages.

It had been a month since Lu Ye arrived in Thousand Streams Paradise. On the second day after his arrival, Dao Thirteen led the people of Bright Moon Cave Mansion to join him, which strengthened the power of Thousand Streams Paradise. Although the Blood Race members Dao Thirteen had taken with him were not Real Lake Realm Masters, they were powerful cultivators from their respective Cave Mansions.

Then, many more people came to this place from different Cave Mansions following Yu Lingfeng’s order. Several days later, they called the roll and marched towards Northern Mountain Paradise.

Lu Ye didn’t tag along with them for that war. He only sent Dao Thirteen to help them, and everything went smoothly for them. After many Real Lake Realm Masters from Northern Mountain Paradise died, the rest either fled or surrendered. The heritage of Thousand Streams Paradise was strengthened overnight. Several Real Lake Realm Masters who had joined them were even more powerful than Yu Lingfeng.

According to the Blood Race’s rules, Yu Lingfeng supposedly couldn’t hold onto the position of the Paradise Master. But with Dao Thirteen around, those Blood Race members wouldn’t dare to seize power even though they were stronger than Yu Lingfeng.

This made them feel envious as they wondered where Yu Lingfeng found such a powerful Blood Slave.

After Northern Mountain Paradise was conquered, they spent around ten days sorting things out. Then, those from Thousand Streams Paradise set off again to attack another Paradise.

Lu Ye stayed behind to take care of the Human women. Also, he had to cultivate his power and consider his options.

Now, he could use Soul Control to gain a footing in Blood Refinement Boundary because the targets he had chosen weren’t powerful. As such, he could easily control them.

Nevertheless, if he came across Blood Race members in the Divine Ocean Realm, the Divine Glyph might not be useful at all. Moreover, his power was limited, so he couldn’t change how things worked in Blood Refinement Boundary.

Humans in the territory of Thousand Streams Paradise could live peacefully, but there were countless other Paradises in this world.

Since Lu Ye couldn’t change how things worked in this world, he couldn’t save the Humans living here. He had been pondering why the Heavens of Jiu Zhou sent him to this world. Although he hadn’t the foggiest idea, he knew it must’ve something to the Humans in this world.

Therefore, his most important task was to increase his power and ascend to the Divine Ocean Realm. That way, he could enslave Blood Race members in the Divine Ocean Realm. By then, he could protect even more Humans.

To Lu Ye, it wasn’t difficult to cultivate his power. If the consumption of the Tree of Glyphs’ fuel wasn’t an issue, the Blood River was the best cultivation place for him.

However, the Tree of Glyphs’ fuel was consumed too quickly in the Blood River, so he could only give it up.

Fortunately, he had a lot of Spirit Stones and Spirit Pills in the Storage Sphere. Moreover, Yu Lingfeng had brought back many Blood Crystals for him from the previous war. As such, Lu Ye wasn’t lacking cultivation resources for the time being.

Although it wasn’t as effective as using Amulets in Jiu Zhou, he didn’t have to worry about destabilising his cultivation due to a rapid increase in his power.

He estimated that when he used up all his Spirit Stones and Spirit Pills, he would make it to the Eighth-Order Real Lake Realm. As for how he could continue increasing his power after that, he could only play it by ear. Anyway, he could always kill some Blood Race members and get their Blood Crystals.

He could even enter the Blood River to cultivate his power. There wouldn’t be a problem as long as he controlled how fast the Tree of Glyphs’ fuel was consumed.

A woman was suddenly heard screaming from a distance. That direction was where the Human women gathered.

Lu Ye frowned and expanded his Divine Ego to scan the surroundings. Upon making sure that the woman was safe, he decided to stay out of the matter.

A moment later, a young woman came to him with a new blood foetus while looking anxious. She put down the blood foetus and glanced nervously at Lu Ye before running away.

The young woman was the helper Lu Ye had chosen from those Human women. It had to be said that in Blood Refinement Boundary, Humans had been suppressed and enslaved for such a long time that they had almost forgotten that they were Humans.

Even with Lu Ye giving them support, these Human women were still terrified every day.

The young woman was the slightly braver one among them, so Lu Ye chose her to help deliver babies. Despite that, she wouldn’t dare to talk to Lu Ye every time she sent a blood foetus to him.

That was because the young woman believed that Lu Ye was a Blood Slave who worked for the Blood Race.

The Blood Race had always been inviolable, so she wouldn’t dare to harm the blood foetuses even though they hadn’t been hatched. She would send all the blood foetuses to Lu Ye so that he would handle them.

That was why Lu Ye missed Lan Qiyue. When she was around in Bright Moon Cave Mansion, Lu Ye didn’t have to take care of those pregnant women. Lan Qiyue would do everything for him on her own. Not only could she help deliver babies, but she would also deal with those blood foetuses.

Looking at the blood-soaked foetus, Lu Ye lifted his hand with an expressionless face and activated his Spiritual Power. The blood foetus was soon set aflame and turned into ashes.

Lu Ye then continued cultivating his power. He was surrounded by Spirit Stones. The Tree of Glyphs’ roots extended into those Spirit Stones and absorbed their energy. At the same time, he kept stuffing Spirit Pills into his mouth. Sometimes, he would even crunch a piece of Blood Crystal in his mouth.

The next day, Yu Lingfeng led his subordinates to return to Thousand Streams Paradise after conquering another Paradise. Lu Ye didn’t even ask what the results were. To him, the war between the Blood Race members was a dog-eat-dog fight. The casualties had nothing to do with him. He just had to ensure that Thousand Streams Paradise was safe. At the very least, he needed a place where those Human women could live comfortably.

Judging from the number of Blood Crystals Dao Thirteen had brought back, many Blood Race members must’ve lost their lives during the war.

A moment later, Yu Lingfeng arrived and saluted him respectfully. “Sir.”

Lu Ye didn’t even lift his head. Yu Lingfeng didn’t mind it. It had been quite a while since he became Lu Ye’s Soul Slave, so he was used to his attitude. He then reported to him about the results of the war.

They had lost quite a number of subordinates, but even more people from the other party had surrendered. Therefore, the heritage of Thousand Streams Paradise didn’t weaken at all. Instead, it had been strengthened.

When the report was over, Yu Lingfeng stayed there and appeared expectant.

“What else?” Lu Ye asked.

Only then did Yu Lingfeng say, “Sir, many Holy Race members in the Real Lake Realm are more powerful than I am in this Paradise. The newcomers especially have no regard for me. They even covet my position as the Paradise Master. I’d like to teach them a lesson…”

Lu Ye instantly knew what his intention was. Yu Lingfeng alone was incapable of doing that, so he needed to use some help.

As such, Lu Ye turned to look at Dao Thirteen, who was seated beside him and eating a Blood Crystal as his figure radiated a blood light. He told him, “From now on, you’ll kill whichever Blood Race member he tells you to.”

“Alright,” Dao Thirteen replied in a muffled voice.

Yu Lingfeng was elated. “Thanks, Sir!”

Others thought that Dao Thirteen was his Blood Slave, but only he knew what was truly going on. Dao Thirteen wouldn’t obey his orders.

However, as long as the other Blood Race members believed he could control Dao Thirteen, no one would dare to be impertinent to him.

“Sir, if there’s nothing else, I’ll take my leave.”

Time went by peacefully in the next few days. Since there were many new Blood Race members, they had to be assimilated into Thousand Streams Paradise. They also had to get prepared for the next war.

As winners, they enjoyed a lot of benefits. After all, they could get a share of the Blood Crystals of the dead Blood Race members. Compared with sucking blood out of blood meals, Blood Crystals were more useful in helping them increase their powers.

One day, Yu Lingfeng came over anxiously when Lu Ye was cultivating his power. “Sir, something serious has happened!”

Lu Ye opened his eyes and glanced at him. “What’s the matter?”

“I’ve received news that White Cloud Paradise, Imperial Palace Paradise, and Clear Autumn Paradise have joined forces to attack us. They’re on their way, and they’re expected to arrive by tomorrow.”

Lu Ye furrowed his brows. Although he had already expected such a matter to happen, it seemed that those Paradises reacted more swiftly than he had expected.

Thousand Streams Paradise had conquered two nearby Paradises in the past month. Given how shocking the incidents were, it was only natural that other Paradises had found out about it. As long as they were aware of it, they would deal with the situation.

The best way to do that was to take the initiative to attack Thousand Streams Paradise. Moreover, three Paradises had joined forces this time, which went to show how determined they were.

Although Thousand Streams Paradise could be considered fairly powerful, it couldn’t fend off three Paradises on its own.

Lu Ye and Dao Thirteen could lend them a helping hand. With the two of them around, they could save Thousand Streams Paradise.

The only problem was that once the war broke out, the lives of those Human women in the Paradise would be at risk. After all, the enemies would have no qualms about ending their lives amid the chaos. Therefore, Lu Ye had to ensure their safety at the very least.

“I got it. You shall make the arrangements. Dao Thirteen will follow you. Kill anyone who dares to bring down our morale.”

“Yes.” Yu Lingfeng finally set his mind at ease and left the place with Dao Thirteen.

Lu Ye rose to his feet and went to the place where the women lived. He had to set up a Grand Defensive Ward there to ensure their safety.

Additionally, there was something he had to try out. He could seize this chance to find out its power.

The fact that the three Paradises had joined forces to attack them didn’t bother him. He wasn’t worried even if Yu Lingfeng and his subordinates were all killed. As long as he still had Thousand Streams Paradise, he could make another puppet to be the Paradise Master.

He just had to make sure the war wouldn’t affect those Human women.

It took him two hours to build a Grand Defensive Ward. Without getting any rest, he wandered around the Paradise and placed the ward nexuses he had crafted during this period.

It wasn’t until the middle of the night that he was done with everything.

The atmosphere around Thousand Streams Paradise was intense. Many Blood Race members had gathered together to get prepared for the coming war.
