Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

After Lu Li left, the Prophet fell into deep thought.

It was recalling Lu Li’s words, which seemed to have some truth to them.

The Prophet had been living among intelligent life forms since its birth, and the influence was profound.

To be exact, its way of thinking wasn’t much different from those intelligent creatures to a certain extent.

For instance, its true purpose in murdering the Eternal Star Lord was to replace him and transform the Milky Way Galaxy into an enormous interstellar empire solely under its command.

However, midway through, it encountered an unbeatable adversary, Lu Li, so it had to temporarily abandon its conquest of the Milky Way Galaxy and turn to the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds, intending to first build its power before attacking back into the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Prophet had witnessed too many events of civilizations being conquered by force.

So it instinctively believed that with enough power, it could make everyone submit.

Yet after witnessing Lu Li, the Prophet realized that so-called might cannot buy the ”support of hearts.”

Just like Lu Li’s previous actions, exterminating all members of the Spiritual Race played a deterrent role, but only caused humans to fear rather than earn their admiration.

Even a deity as powerful as Lu Li required human reverence; naturally, the Prophet wished for it even more.

Or perhaps the Prophet was learning from Lu Li’s ”model of strength,” believing that it should garner admiration.

”How can I earn the admiration of those intelligent beings?”

The Prophet pondered endlessly, ”Lu Li mentioned nurturing enemies for self-preservation; now I’m the enemy, and he’s enjoying admiration. What if... I mean, what if I turn Lu Li into the ’enemy’? Or perhaps cultivate an enemy that even Lu Li cannot eliminate, and then wait until the entire Milky Way Galaxy falls into the despair of boundless panic, and I step out as the savior, wouldn’t I be admired?”

It would certainly be so!

It knew of Lu Li’s deeds, having learned that Earth had once experienced such an event, and Lu Li stepped forward to turn the tide, earning the admiration of Earth humans effortlessly becoming a ruler.

The Prophet believed it could replicate Lu Li’s successful ”experience” by doing something similar.

”How can I make all civilizations in the Milky Way Galaxy feel terrified to the point of despair, yet not make them suspect it was me?”

The Prophet thought for a moment and immediately came up with two suitable methods.

The first method was to have a race far superior to the Milky Way Galaxy’s civilizations come and attack, making everyone in the Milky Way Galaxy live in fear, and then it comes forward to resolve the situation, which would certainly earn boundless prestige.

Currently, there are races superior to all civilizations in the Milky Way Galaxy, but only one can be overwhelmingly dominant, which is the Cosmic Emperor Race, also known as the Martial Hero Race.

This idea seems highly unlikely even to think about.

The Martial Hero Race is located in the Northern Crown-Andromeda Great Wall, ten billion light-years away from the Milky Way Galaxy.

Why would they come all this way to conquer a barren star system group?

To put it bluntly, the resources of the Northern Crown-Andromeda Great Wall are entirely sufficient for the Martial Hero Race’s extravagance, as it is an enormous celestial body with a diameter of ten billion light-years.

There are a hundred thousand galaxies in the Northern Crown-Andromeda Great Wall alone; do they covet your Milky Way Galaxy?

The Milky Way Galaxy is insignificant in the Northern Crown-Andromeda Great Wall or even just a small point in the Laniakea Supercluster.

Moreover, the Milky Way Galaxy is located at the edge of the Laniakea Supercluster, in a resource-poor star realm that developed civilizations wouldn’t be interested in.

In other words, having the Cosmic Emperor Race come to attack the Milky Way Galaxy is unrealistic.

However, the Prophet doesn’t necessarily need the Martial Hero Race to attack the Milky Way Galaxy.

Given its current technological level, it can completely nurture a race with combat strength comparable to the Martial Hero Race.

Then it controls this nurtured race to attack the Milky Way Galaxy, achieving its desire.

”Nurturing is too troublesome, I’ll just give them weapons, let them attack the Milky Way Galaxy, and then I’ll come in to clean up the mess.”

The Prophet thought this method was feasible.

But there was a small question with this method.

What if Lu Li takes the credit first, what should be done then?

So the Prophet had a second method to ensure success.

The second method was terrifying.

Any cosmic race hearing of this method would be terrified.

Even the powerful Martial Hero Race would be frightened.

The Prophet’s mad second idea was...

To capture an iron-based life form and find a way to control it.

Then cause a disaster.

Finally, it steps forward to resolve the issue.

Carbon-based life, ammonia-based life, silicon-based life, and boron-based life are not few among cosmic races; even iron-carbon hybrid life exists.

However, pure iron-based life is extremely rare in the cosmos.

Why?

Because iron is a metal element, it’s hard to gain electrons, unfavorable for the diversity of life’s evolution.

Moreover, iron is formed in massive stars.

Such stars are not abundant in the universe.

So the distribution of iron in the cosmos might be much lower.

The possibility of life forming based on iron is even lower.

Although iron-based life is challenging to come by, the universe is so vast, filled with various miracles, so there are still iron-based life forms.

The Prophet has exceptional knowledge about iron-based life.

Each iron-based life form is a strong existence.

Their bodies are entirely composed of incredibly dense metals.

Moreover, their bodies are enormous.

The smallest are equivalent to asteroids.

The largest could be as gigantic as stars.
