Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

In other words, according to the original text’s setting, if the Golden Cudgel really becomes that large, it might have a density even less than air.

Naturally, Lu Li is not planning to ”steal” things from ”Journey to the West” again.

This time, he set his sights on the ”Marvel” Fantasy World.

Lu Li hasn’t read much American comics, he only knows that the six Infinity Gems in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are very powerful.

For example, the Power Gem first appeared in ”Guardians of the Galaxy,” embedded in Ronan’s Warhammer, granting him immense power, almost destroying the entire Chaidar Star.

Another example is the Time Gem, which although doesn’t directly showcase overwhelming combat power, it can ”alter” time.

The other gems like the Soul Gem, Reality Gem, and so on each have their own magical functions.

Of course, certain gems in the cinematic universe showcase comparatively weaker functions than in the comics.

Lu Li took a fancy to the Infinity Gems, wondering if he could ”steal” them, and indeed how powerful these Infinity Gems truly are once ”stolen.”

With this thought, he used energy to open a dimensional channel, entering the Fantasy World.

Lu Li located where the Marvel Cinematic Universe is, then used energy to wrap his consciousness and enter it.

What he most wanted to obtain was the ”Power Gem.”

Thus, he went directly to the moment Star-Lord was dancing awkwardly in front of Ronan.

While watching Star-Lord’s awkward dance, Lu Li analyzed Ronan’s Power Gem.

As before, once he started analyzing, he faced a mighty force strike.

If it were before, his energy would have been instantly dispersed by the mighty force.

This time, perhaps the energy has undergone a qualitative change, his energy that invaded the Marvel Cinematic Universe surprisingly withstood the suppression of the mighty force for 0.001 seconds.

”Hmm?” Lu Li was slightly surprised that just had his energy scattered, ”My energy can now withstand an instant under the force after undergoing a qualitative change?”

This made him quite delighted.

The previous situation could indirectly indicate that his energy is stronger than before.

Additionally, the fact that energy could last a bit longer meant that when he ”dissects” items in the Fantasy World, it would become quicker and more efficient.

Naturally, he felt delighted.

After being a bit complacent for a moment, Lu Li once again released energy to invade the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Three times.

Sixteen times.

Seventy-eight times.

He tried a total of three hundred and sixty-seven times before ”replicating” the structure of the Power Gem.

Knowing how to condense the Power Gem, Lu Li unhesitatingly mobilized the energy within his body to condense it in his palm.

A massive amount of energy poured out, gradually forming into a purple gem.

What surprised Lu Li was that it took a total of the energy of ten stars to condense the Power Gem.

”Wow, is the energy consumption this crazy?”

Lu Li was startled and quickly grasped the Power Gem with his hand.

According to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, most beings cannot directly hold the Power Gem.

However, once strong enough, like Thanos, they can directly pick up the gem.

With the power Lu Li currently possesses, he is undoubtedly much stronger than the power shown by Thanos in the cinematic universe, and can naturally hold the gem.

Besides, the gem is an ”Extraordinary item” that he condensed using energy, and he can retract this ability at any time, so naturally he won’t be unable to hold the gem.

He held the Power Gem and analyzed it, ultimately figuring out how strong this gem is.

Besides being able to directly release energy to destroy an entire planet, the Power Gem also enhances the user’s strength, as well as any superpowers they already possess.

Of course, this effect doesn’t work on Lu Li; the gem is part of his energy, and surely cannot enhance the power of his own superpowers.

”Its maximum destructive power is only as much as directly destroying a planet, yet it wasted the energy of ten stars, which seems not to be worth it.”

Lu Li analyzed, ”However, it excels in being available for anyone to use, which means that even an ordinary person possessing the Power Gem can instantly have the super terrifying power to destroy stars, and crucially, it’s not a one-time use, it can be used repeatedly, just with a limit on single-time destructive power.”

This is something that can’t be helped, since this Power Gem is from the cinematic universe, its power cannot compare to the Power Gem in the comics.

Lu Li contemplated, although the Power Gem doesn’t work on him, it can be used by those around him.

For example, if Wang Yu possesses the Power Gem, he could certainly single-handedly destroy a civilization with a decent grade race.

”Condensing gems consumes too much energy, otherwise, I would really want to condense more.”

Lu Li shook his head and continued invading the Marvel Cinematic Universe, intending to replicate the structure of the remaining five gems.

Time passed, second by second.

Twenty hours quickly went by.

During that time, Lu Li replicated the structure of all six Infinity Gems from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and also condensed them all, as well as analyzed their functions.

The Space Gem allows for instant teleportation, and can also stop objects from moving.

Without the enhancement of the Power Gem, the Space Gem’s maximum teleportation distance is twenty light years.

Once enhanced by the Power Gem, its teleportation range can expand to a hundred light years.

The Soul Gem has the ability to steal, manipulate, modify, or create souls, as well as control and command the undead, and even bring people back to life.

Perhaps due to reality suppression, the Time Gem regrets not being granted the ability to directly traverse time nodes, but can only ”bind” time in a loop like Doctor Strange confronted Dormammu.
