Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

The most crucial point is that even iron-based lifeforms the size of asteroids can withstand the terrifying force of a supernova explosion without damage.

If it were an iron-based lifeform the size of a star, it would be enough to trigger an apocalypse across the entire universe.

Once, an enormous iron-based lifeform visited the Milky Way Galaxy.

Fortunately, it stayed only briefly before hastily moving on, sparing the Milky Way Galaxy.

Coincidentally, the Prophet had already come into existence by then.

At that time, it was still a relatively simple ”organizer” super AI, only wanting to serve the Galaxy Alliance.

Because it was so naive at the time, fearing that the iron-based lifeform would cause massive destruction to the Milky Way Galaxy, it secretly installed a monitor on the giant body of the lifeform.

Over the years, the Prophet has been calculating how to eliminate or control the iron-based lifeform.

Unable to think of a way to eliminate it.

The Prophet calculated that even powerful methods like vacuum decay couldn’t cause the iron-based lifeform to perish.

And vacuum decay is already one of the most terrifying methods within the laws of the universe.

However, about three hundred years ago, the Prophet roughly calculated how to control the iron-based lifeform.

Although iron-based lifeforms have incredibly strong ”bodies,” they have low ”intelligence” and are easily controlled by infrasound waves of a specific oscillation frequency.

Coincidentally, the Prophet has already calculated this infrasound oscillation frequency.

Of course, just knowing this frequency of infrasound is useless.

Because the ”body” of the iron-based lifeform is too powerful.

Ordinary instruments cannot transmit these infrasound waves to the ”neural system” of the lifeform.

”I must develop a special infrasound instrument to control the iron-based lifeform.”

The Prophet, thoughtful, roughly knew what to do, ”I can first give a powerful weapon to a highly intelligent civilization, have them attack the Milky Way Galaxy, and in this time frame, develop a super infrasound oscillation instrument to control the iron-based lifeform as much as possible. If the Milky Way Galaxy cannot resist the intelligent civilization I’ve armed, I will step in to solve the problem and gain sufficient prestige. Then, there would be no need to unleash the iron-based lifeform upon the Milky Way Galaxy and instead find a chance to kill Lu Li, or perhaps conquer the Laniakea Supercluster and the entire universe.”

Alright, that’s the plan!

The Prophet firmly made up its mind, focusing its gaze on a wise life form race in the Small Magellanic Cloud.

...

Meanwhile, on Earth.

Lu Li quickly returned to the core control room of the super base.

Seeing this, Shen Xia couldn’t help but be surprised, ”Eh, you’re back so soon?”

Lu Li sat in his exclusive metal chair, smiling, ”It’s only a distance of over a hundred thousand light years. How much time could it possibly take?”

”Huh?” Shen Xia’s eyes widened, ”Over a hundred thousand light years, and you didn’t take long at all?”

Lu Li gently hummed in response.

Shen Xia, like a curious child, moved closer and asked, ”Lu Li, can I ask you a question?”

Lu Li turned his head to look at her, with a half-smile, ”You want to know how far I can travel in a second now, don’t you?”

Because Shen Xia moved closer, the two of them were already quite close.

With Lu Li turning his head, they were almost face-to-face.

Shen Xia’s face suddenly flushed, and she quickly pulled her head back slightly, then nodded gently in response, ”Yes, can you tell me?”

”Sure,” Lu Li replied plainly, ”I can now travel twenty thousand light years per second. The distance between us and the Large Magellanic Galaxy is one hundred and sixty thousand light years, which means it only takes me eight seconds to get there.”

Shen Xia exclaimed in shock, ”Twenty thousand light years per second? As far as I know, no object in the universe can exceed light speed without using space jump technology. And you’ve surpassed light speed by over sixty billion times. I want to know how you’re doing it?”

Lu Li, with nothing else to do, decided to tease her, ”Want to know? I can’t just tell you for nothing, unless you give me a back rub and shoulder massage.”

”Really? You’ll tell me if I give you a back rub and shoulder massage?”

Shen Xia, with no sense of being teased, stood up with delight, walked to Lu Li’s side, immediately placing her hands on his shoulders and began massaging, speaking flattering words, ”Lu Li, I know you’re the best, please tell me what you know.”

Alright.

This woman has a strong thirst for knowledge.

She’s willing to do anything to find out specific information.

Lu Li was quite speechless with Shen Xia, but rather enjoyed her shoulder massage.

He lazily said, ”Even if I tell you how I do it, you wouldn’t be able to learn it. But I can tell you another method where you can travel tens of thousands to even hundreds of thousands of light years in a short time.”

Shen Xia massaged his shoulders more vigorously.

Her eyes sparkled with excitement, ”Good, Lu Li, tell me then.”

Lu Li said, ”Wormhole.”

Shen Xia tilted her head, ”I know about that. In 1916, Austrian physicist Ludwig Flamm proposed the concept of ”describing two different space-time regions connected by a space-time tunnel” while studying Karl Schwarzschild’s solution to Einstein’s equations. Later, Einstein and Nathan Rosen further explored Flamm’s theory using general relativity, proposing the concept of a bridge connecting two different points in space-time, which is the wormhole. But the problem is, a wormhole is just a hypothesis and hasn’t been proven. How can we use it?”

Lu Li said, ”Haven’t you studied those space jump stations? Aliens use wormhole technology. They create two ’energy points’ in the universe, causing a certain distortion in space-time, thus creating a passable tunnel. No matter the actual spatial distance between these two points, as long as there is an overlap, one can quickly travel from one point to another. However, the aliens’ wormhole technology is currently relatively weak, with a traversal scope not very distant, at most hundreds of light-years per single jump. I have a wormhole technology here. If you study it thoroughly, you can create a space jump station capable of instantly traversing tens of thousands to even hundreds of thousands of light years. Of course, this requires the use of immense energy, which I will give you later.”

”Wow, Lu Li, you are so great!” Shen Xia joyfully exclaimed like a little girl, massaging even harder, occasionally asking in a flattering tone, ”Is this pressure alright?”

Lu Li was just teasing Shen Xia; there’s no way he’d let her massage him indefinitely.

He reached out and patted the back of her hand, ”Alright, no need to massage anymore, I was just joking.”

Lu Li’s action was quite ordinary, just telling her to stop massaging.

However, for Shen Xia, it was her first time touching Lu Li’s hand, her face instantly turning red again.

She quickly pulled her hand back, lightly saying ”Oh” at the same time.

Although Lu Li could detect others’ inner thoughts and knew Shen Xia rarely had such close contact with boys, resulting in an electrifying sensation, he didn’t care about her thoughts and focused on other matters.

This time, after traveling over a hundred thousand light years to the Large Magellanic Galaxy, he conducted a detailed observation.

Honestly, he found the structure of cosmic celestial bodies quite interesting.

It’s often that a massive gravitational source attracts various celestial bodies.

And these celestial bodies orbit the massive gravitational source, creating energy in the process.

Lu Li was contemplating constructing mini energy sources, which could potentially accelerate his energy growth rate, thus making it faster?

He even harbored a more daring idea: taking the ”energy black hole,” this massive gravitational source, as the nucleus, gradually forming an entire ”universe” within himself.

If this idea could truly materialize, once a ”universe” is simulated inside him, the quantum of energy he gains every twenty hours might reach a universe’s worth of power!
