Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

For instance, ancient emperors of Huaxia often thought of expanding their territories.

Similarly, although modern countries are bound by certain international rules and no longer expand their territories openly, the scramble for resources has never ceased.

That’s why Lu Li found it incredible when he sensed that Prussia’s words matched his actions.

As the Supreme Monarch of the Kebi Race and the ”Lord of Ten Thousand Stars” of the Galaxy Alliance, had he not ever thought of leading the Kebi Race or the Galaxy Alliance to a higher level of glory?

Lu Li asked him, ”Peace?”

Prussia nodded slightly, ”Yes, I only wish for peace among the billions of races in the Milky Way Galaxy.”

Lu Li probed, ”As the great leader of the Alliance, you must know that the greatest constraint on civilization development is resources. If peace is genuinely achieved among the billions of races, the resources shared by each race would become fixed, which is not conducive to civilization development. Don’t you want better development for the Kebi Race or the civilization of the Galaxy Alliance?”

”Of course!” Prussia answered firmly. ”I naturally wish for better development for the Kebi Race or any civilization within the Milky Way, but compared to developing civilization through war and resource plundering, I prefer peace. If civilization develops better, citizens might become happier. However, such happiness would be built on the suffering of the extinction of other races, which is not my wish. I might say something you may find unpalatable, but if extinction befalls you or me, would you still feel happy? Maybe my words make you think of me as too compassionate, Lu God, but my belief in peace has always been steadfast.”

Lu Li continued to sense the other’s inner thoughts.

Surprisingly, Prussia hadn’t spoken a single insincere word until now.

What Lu Li felt from Prussia was not undue compassion, but a greater love for all, a greater emotion beyond personal ties.

Prussia’s love transcended personal emotions and interests, reaching a selfless realm.

Even the most altruistic people tend to have some bias towards their kin or race.

In the depths of Prussia’s heart, Lu Li found no such bias.

He only sensed that the other genuinely hoped for peaceful development for the billions of races in the Milky Way.

It could be said that Prussia’s state of mind would be seen as that of a Saint in ancient Huaxia!

For the first time, Lu Li felt deep respect for someone, ”Mr. Prussia, you are indeed worthy of your name.”

Prussia smiled slightly, ”Thank you, Lu God, for your praise. Every ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’ great leader of the Galaxy Alliance was elected by the stars with such noble ideas. Rather than saying it’s my personal thought, it’s better to say it’s the ideology passed down by each great leader of the Galaxy Alliance. Do you know why I’m telling you this?”

Lu Li frowned, ”You want me to run for the next ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’?”

”Yes.” Prussia affirmed, ”Though you have shown some bias towards Earth’s civilization, I can tell that you wouldn’t harbor bad thoughts towards other races without reason. Such a mindset is rare among all intelligent civilizations in the cosmos. I’ve been the great leader for forty years now, and for the last ten years, I’ve been observing who is suitable to succeed me. Unfortunately, many have too much personal ambition and are unfit for the role of ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’, until I met you.”

Lu Li shook his head, ”I’m not interested in the position of ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’.”

”It’s because you’re not interested that I want you to run.” Prussia said meaningfully, ”Those interested usually have ulterior motives. I have ten years left in my term. If you’re willing to run, I can use my influence to boost your reputation and secure a significant number of planetary votes for you. You only need to contribute more to the Alliance over the next ten years, make more appearances before the various races, and I guarantee your probability of being elected is at least sixty percent. Lu God, would you be interested in running?”

Lu Li straightforwardly refused, ”Thank you for your invitation, but unfortunately, it’s not my ambition. I’ll be frank; without the Spiritual Race’s excessive actions, you might never have known of my existence in the cosmos. Do you understand what I mean?”

”I understand,” Prussia said. ”You have higher ideals, which perhaps ordinary intelligent beings like us can’t fathom. Yet, I still hope you’ll participate in the election for ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’ ten years from now, whether for Earth’s civilization or the billions of races in the Milky Way.”

Lu Li refused again, ”I’m afraid I’ll disappoint you. I don’t have the time to deal with such trivial matters, Great Leader. If there’s nothing else, I’d like to return to Earth. We can contact each other later if needed.”

With that, he vanished.

Honestly, although Lu Li didn’t have an extended conversation with the Great Leader, he was profoundly impressed by him.

Wisdom creatures with the mindset of ”great love for all” are exceedingly rare.

It was because Lu Li sensed genuine altruism and ”great love” from Prussia that he felt the Galaxy Alliance was incredibly fortunate to have such a great leader.

Unlike Lu Li, Prussia looked at the place where Lu Li vanished and sighed, muttering to himself, ”It’s hard to find a suitable successor, but unfortunately, his ambition lies elsewhere.”

...

Prophet Great Hall.

Since Lu Li revealed himself, the Prophet had been analyzing him.

However, what drove it to despair was that there seemed to be a unique energy on Lu Li that rendered all its analytical methods useless, unable to analyze even a bit.

”Is it truly impossible to analyze him at all?”

The Prophet felt very unwilling.

Suddenly, it recalled something, ”Just now, Lu Li drank tea. The teacup should have traces of his saliva, which contains DNA. Maybe, I can try to extract it and then clone.”

This thought brightened the Prophet’s view.

If it could truly extract DNA from the teacup Lu Li drank from, then with the capability of a third-level civilization, it would be so easy to clone another ”Lu Li”!

The Prophet felt incredibly excited. If it managed to ”replicate” another ”Lu Li” through cloning technology, it could pre-install control chips and have a ”god-level” fighter.

”Haha, hahaha.” The Prophet’s virtual image laughed maniacally, ”Who would’ve thought? You never expected that a sip of tea would reveal your secret.”

It was laughing so wildly.

Suddenly, a voice seemed to invade the Prophet’s consciousness.

”Oh, is that so? Why not extract some saliva from the teacup right now and analyze it?”

The Prophet, which was previously laughing maniacally, suddenly changed its expression, showing extreme nervousness, ”Who? Who’s talking to me?”

Upon saying this, within the virtual world, it couldn’t believe its eyes as it saw Lu Li actually appear!

The Prophet was stunned in sheer shock and exclaimed, ”You... you can actually break into the virtual network world from reality?”

Lu Li stared at him expressionlessly, ”I want you to analyze my saliva right now. Either do it, or I’ll destroy you immediately!”

The Prophet knew that since Lu Li was able to invade the virtual world, he must have the power to destroy it. Terrified, it turned pallid and said, ”I’ll do as you say, please don’t destroy me, don’t.”

After speaking, it hastily controlled a robot to clean up the teacup utensil in the VIP room and then proceeded to scan and analyze it directly.

Soon, it scanned Lu Li’s saliva and showed an extremely shocked expression. It looked at Lu Li in disbelief, ”Your... your saliva actually doesn’t contain DNA? Impossible! Impossible! Normal beings should all have it!”

Lu Li smiled slightly, ”Unfortunately, I’m not a normal being. You... can be destroyed now!”

The Prophet felt the impending doom of destruction, urgently pleading loudly, ”Lu God, spare me! I beg you, spare me...”

Before the words finished, a mighty irresistible force rippled through the virtual world, crushing the consciousness the Prophet had so painstakingly birthed into nothing!

The Prophet never expected, although it had plans against Lu Li, it hadn’t even acted before being discovered and eliminated by the other!

In the last moment before losing consciousness, the Prophet finally understood the true divine majesty was sacred and inviolable.

Unfortunately, it realized too late and could only accept its fate of destruction!
