Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

As soon as Lu Li emerged, Nuwa’s holographic image immediately appeared.

Nuwa’s first words were incredibly shocking.

She said: ”Respected Mr. Lu, the Galaxy Alliance has sent a notice of death, the great leader passed away yesterday.”

”Hmm?” Lu Li was taken aback, involuntarily turning his head in surprise and said: ”The great leader passed away yesterday?”

Nuwa affirmed: ”Yes, the alliance’s death notice has spread throughout the Milky Way Galaxy; this matter is confirmed to be true.”

The great leader of the Galaxy Alliance has passed away?

Lu Li involuntarily recalled the green face of the great leader.

Even though he only met the leader once, the impression was deeply rooted.

He knew the great leader’s ideological realm had reached the level of a Saint.

This was a Saint who holds the noble concept of ”the world is for all.”

To be honest, Lu Li greatly admired such a person like the great leader.

Despite being the Supreme Monarch of the Kebi Race, the highest civilization level in the galaxy, commanding the life and death of countless intelligent beings, the great leader hoped for eternal peace of the entire Milky Way Galaxy and even the Cosmos.

Moreover, throughout his forty-plus years as the ”Lord of Ten Thousand Stars” of the Galaxy Alliance, he had continually been devoted to achieving this ideal.

Now that he has passed away, upon hearing this news, Lu Li couldn’t help but want to sigh deeply from the very depths of his heart.

Lu Li was lost in thought for a moment, then asked: ”How did the great leader pass away? Was it due to old age or sudden illness?”

”The notice did not specify,” Nuwa replied. ”Based on my analysis, the likelihood that the great leader passed due to old age is quite low. The average lifespan of the Kebi people is three hundred Earth Years, and he was only two hundred and one years old. It’s unlikely for his lifespan to end so soon. As for sudden illness... both the Galaxy Alliance and the Kebi Race possess extremely advanced medical capabilities. The great leader was equipped with the most formidable medical team in the galaxy. This possibility is also not very high.”

Lu Li frowned slightly, ”So, you mean the great leader was likely assassinated?”

Nuwa replied, ”The notice states it’s a natural death, but based on my analysis, the likelihood of assassination is greater.”

Murder?

Lu Li’s frown deepened. Who murdered the great leader?

Could it be someone else eagerly wanting to become the ”Lord of Ten Thousand Stars” of the Galaxy Alliance, so they killed the great leader?

But that doesn’t quite make sense.

The ”Lord of Ten Thousand Stars” is elected every fifty Earth Years.

The great leader had served for forty years already, with ten more years to go before reelection.

Who would be so impatient that they couldn’t wait ten years and took such a big risk to kill him?

Bear in mind that the ”Lord of Ten Thousand Stars” represents the Galaxy Alliance.

If it’s found out who committed the murder, they would definitely face attacks from the millions of races in the galaxy.

Therefore, Lu Li couldn’t believe someone wouldn’t wait ten years and would undertake such a risky endeavor.

He pondered for a moment, then asked again: ”Who is presiding over the Galaxy Alliance now?”

Nuwa stated: ”According to the alliance’s information, the presiding individual is the previous ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars,’ also the former common ruler of the four major tier-three civilizations of the galaxy, Dadi Civilization, named Lupar. He will preside over the alliance until the new ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’ is elected.”

Lu Li speculated: ”Could Lupar have been the one who murdered Prussia?”

Nuwa replied: ”It’s unlikely; Lupar is already very old, hardly able to stand. If it weren’t for the unexpected passing of the great leader this time, he might be peacefully enjoying his old age, rather than stepping out to make a fuss. In fact, Lupar has stepped forward merely due to his own prestige, preventing the galaxy from falling into chaos, and he certainly doesn’t have the energy to handle governance. So, he lacks any motivation to murder, and in a sense, Lupar was Prussia’s teacher, inheriting his peace ideals, and like Prussia, possesses noble virtues of ’the world is for all.’ The chances of Lupar murdering Prussia for power are less likely than winning a lottery jackpot by a regular person.”

Lupar, who gained the most benefit, has no motive to murder.

So who exactly murdered the great leader?

Or perhaps, the great leader merely died from sudden illness?

Lu Li originally wanted to ponder more but then realized that who becomes the ’Lord of Ten Thousand Stars’ of the Galaxy Alliance has no relation to him, so why waste the effort?

To put it bluntly, as long as Earth’s civilization isn’t threatened, even if all aliens perish, it wouldn’t concern him much.

Lu Li simply decided not to dwell further but instead inquired about the timing of Prussia’s funeral and prepared to attend.

Though he disliked such engagements, the Galaxy Alliance had sent a notice and extended an invitation to attend Prussia’s funeral, so as Earth’s top decision-maker, he had to deal with such social obligations.

The funeral is scheduled five Earth Days later.

It’s said many big shots from the galaxy will be attending.

After noting it down, Lu Li returned to his room and spent some intimate time with Liu Kexin.

Afterward, he engaged in some long-distance communication with Pangu, handling several governmental affairs requiring his decision.

Such as currency reissuance and decisions regarding alien investors seeking to renovate Mars, among others.

After finishing his tasks, it was already evening.

...

At night, in the bedroom.

Lu Li had just returned from having dinner with Liu Kexin and his parents.

He was about to suggest Liu Kexin take a bath and rest early.

Unexpectedly, Liu Kexin, holding an Infinity Gauntlet, remarked curiously: ”Huh, is this Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet?”
