Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3179 Chased By Empyreal Monarchs

*Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~*

Numerous figures shot after Davis, intending to steal the Celestial Luminescence Pill just like he stole from Lest Mistwalker. Their aura burst forth, seeking to suppress him, but even with the tens of Empyreal Monarchs, even with two King-Tier Azure Dragon Fey tyrannical auras, their target refused to slow down as though he wasnʼt enduring any pressure at all.

*Boom!~*

However, with their constant attacks, they didnʼt lose his tail, forcing him to zig-zag through the way instead of going straight.

Davis turned to look around and gazed at the Empyreal Monarchs following him at the forefront.

Fire blossomed like a mushroom, water stretched and rolled in space with fury like tidal waves, and hurricanes stormed through the area. Space severed in front of him before a black-robed man stepped out, flicking his sleeve at him as a spatial lock encased him.

”Break~”

Davis circulated chaotic energy within and broke through the spatial lock as soon as it formed, causing the black-robed man to turn shocked.

”Stop!”

He roared, creating multiple layers of spatial wall in front of him in order to impede him.

However, Davis lifted his hand and unleashed a punch, causing a grayish-silvery light to emerge and punch through the first wall. It didnʼt stop, the pure force of his chaotic clad fist delivering extreme pressure towards multiple layers of spatial walls, allowing him to break through the blockade and rush past the black-robed man who was dumbfounded at this point.

”Chaos Laws!?”

He roared, turning to look at Davis, who fled without stopping for a single moment.

*Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~* *Whoosh!~*

The Empyreal Monarchs were also dumbfounded, but they also didnʼt stop chasing Davis.

ʼThatʼs right… follow me… follow me away from the hidden temple…ʼ

Davis inwardly cackled in derision.

Naturally, he could outrun them any moment he wanted due to his Tempestuous Firestorm Obliteration Physique, which allowed him to thrash an Empyreal Monarch easily, not to mention use heavenly wind and heavenly fire to leave anyone here hanging with his explosive speed.

Perhaps these black-robed men whom he recognized to be from the Void Autarch Upper Realm, the Atlas Family, could catch up with him, but he didnʼt know about the others.

However, he liked to separate them from the hidden temple first.

Why?

Because Nadia, Myria and the others didnʼt leave!

How could they leave?

They had concealed themselves and entered the hidden temple again, hiding right under their noses. Therefore, he had no choice but to play with them.

He couldʼve taken them all into his life ring, but the time spent convincing the others wouldʼve been time lost under the tense situation, and any such action wouldʼve allowed everyone to turn cautious once they discovered a few people had suddenly left the scene, so his only choice was to use Heart Intent, distract everyone while reading all their emotions, get the Celestial Luminescence Pill and run away, causing mayhem while his people get enough time to conceal themselves during the transcendents were all distracted by him.

Still, he could speak with Nadia, so he knew they were safe, hiding right under the noses of the Kingly Monarchs who remained confused back there but were slowly starting to chase him as they began to understand the gist of the situation.

Quickly, Davis got out of the desolate valley and rushed out further, causing the Empyreal Monarchs to be pissed.

”Dammit! Is he from the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm?” Taus Serpenzal laughed, appearing impressed.

”No. I heard that heʼs from the First Haven World of the legends.” Liam Moonsmile shook his head.

”What? Then how can he be so powerful like us!?”

The black-robed man, Pence Atlas, followed suit, catching up with them as they all continued to give chase without a stop.

”Heʼs an Anarchic Divergent from the First Haven World and highly dangerous even among their ranks.”

Suddenly, a voice resounded from behind, sounding pissed.

They saw that it was none other than Lest Mistwalker, a Kingly Monarch, although an Empyreal Monarch was accompanying him right now, looking even more pissed that they lost the Celestial Luminescence Pill. They caught up with them before the Mistwalker Familyʼs Empyreal Monarch yelled out.

”Halt, or Iʼll reveal the coordinates to the spatial tunnel leading to the First Haven World!”

Davis turned around, his eyes narrowing as he flew back, but a bright smile appeared on his face as he displayed his middle finger.

”You think I care? Idiot! Just feel lucky that I havenʼt taken Lest Mistwalkerʼs life.”

”You dare!? Who do you think you are!?” roared the Mistwalker Familyʼs Empyreal Monarch, but he didnʼt get any reply.

Instead, Davis dashed away with a resounding boom, flying past mountains and valleys. He even crossed through Immortal Emperor Feral Beast territories as he intentionally attacked them, causing them to roar and follow him, but since they missed him, they followed the Empyreal Monarchs following him.

”You scoundrel!”

Screamed a woman.

”Ahaha~”

Davis couldnʼt help but laugh as he recognized that voice. It belonged to Ralaza Heavenshade, making him wonder when she had caught up. However, he also wondered if she didnʼt expose that he left his people there.

”Emperor of Death! Stop running from me and face me like a man!”

Rath Heavenshade yelled out with a furious roar, causing the Mid-Stage Immortal Emperor Feral Beast that was about to pounce on him for his highly delicious blood aura to explode into smithereens, flesh and blood flying everywhere.

”Ralazaʼs brother. How can you be so unreasonable, unlike your sister? I expected more from you, but you want to face me while I face tens of you!? Youʼre a coward!”

Davis turned around, appearing disgruntled as he protested against this challenge.

Rath Heavenshadeʼs eyes flickered. Unreasonable, unlike his sister?

He turned to look at his sister, Ralaza Heavenshade, with a stern gaze, causing her to shudder.

”Brother, itʼs not like that…”

She hurriedly explained, causing Rath Heavenshade to narrow his eyes. Two seconds later, he looked away, returning his gaze to Davis as he looked at him in a complicated light.

So he was running from the Hexadra Clanʼs Empyreal Monarchs? It was no wonder those fellows had been silent all this time, carefully and vindictively following in order to kill the Emperor of Death and take the Celestial Luminescence Pill.

”Whoʼs a coward!?”

Nonetheless, Rath Heavenshade roared back.

”Is there anyone who would go against my word? No one would interfere in our duel! If they do, I promise Iʼll fight back together with you!”

”Oh…?”

Davis turned to look back again, wondering if this elder brother was a little off in mind, considering that he was promising an Anarchic Divergent a way out when he was a target to kill, no matter the situation. However, if he were to think that, he would also have to see Ralaza Heavenshade as someone strange, as letting an Anarchic Divergent go is in itself a sinful action detrimental to the heavens and the innocent people.

ʼBut… I guess this distance is fine for my beauties to escape…ʼ

He suddenly stopped dashing backward, coming to a stop as he firmly placed his foot in mid-air like he was standing on the ground as he waited for them to catch up. Within a second, the Empyreal Monarchs crossed thousands of kilometers, quickly surrounding him as they formed a cultivator barricade in all directions, making a sphere.

He couldnʼt go anywhere, not even use spatial abilities to escape as he could sense that the area was sealed, but he merely smiled, moving his lips.

”I hope you can keep your word, kingly Heavenshade.”

”Of course. Anyone who interferes in this duel would be making an enemy out of my Azure Dragon Upper Realm, not to mention that they will not leave unscathed from here, perhaps even falling dead. If anyone has a problem, say it!”

Rath Heavenshade strode forward from the barricade of transcendents, blocking Davis as he stepped into a ring, boldly stating something that would make many laugh, but surprisingly, Davis saw that no one, absolutely no one, had any problem with it as they remained silent.

He thought he knew the amount of influence the Azure Dragon Upper Realm held, but it seemed like he was wrong as even other Upper Realms didnʼt easily want to offend them, not even the Mistwalkers of the Prismatic Dream Upper Realm who rightfully owned the Celestial Luminescence Pill since they found it.

*Bang!~* *Bang!~* *Bang!~*

Every Immortal Emperor Feral Beast that followed them exploded into smithereens by pure force, causing Davis to see that it was none other than the other Empyreal Monarch of the Heavenshade Clan. He turned to look at him, grinning as though wondering how much of a challenge he could be.

”Rath, if you lose, Iʼm taking grandfatherʼs throne.”

”Fuck off. This battle doesnʼt decide that.”

”…”

Rath Heavenshade scoffed before taking a fight pose against Davis, causing the latter to blink.

He was facing future Patriarchs of the Azure Dragon Upper Realm? It was no wonder that no one dared to go against them easily.

”Master…”

However, his gaze flickered as he suddenly received word from Nadia.

”A sealing formation has dropped near the exits of the desolate valley, disallowing us to escape.”

”Theyʼre good…” Davis laughed to Nadia, knowing that it wouldnʼt go that easy as he was facing the toughest and boldest heavenly geniuses out there in the Celestial Transcendent Galaxy.

”Tell Myria to decipher it open.”

”Sheʼs already on it.”

”Good!”

Davis stepped forward, folding his hands as he lifted his chin, his sapphire eyes flashing with a condescending gaze.

”Come, letʼs see how an Azure Dragon manages to struggle against me.”

”Pfft! Ahahaha!”

The crowd couldnʼt get enough, beginning to laugh, but Rath Heavenshade stayed in focus, his figure suddenly disappearing with an insane speed as he appeared before Davis.

*Booom!~*
