Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3171 The Duality Of Upper Realms

Davis stared at these evildoers, unable to believe such miscreants could walk freely while he, an Anarchic Divergent with less slaughter on his head compared to evil cultivators, could not.

ʼSeems like the Celestial Transcendentʼs influence isnʼt spread in every realm…ʼ

He felt like he had chances of surviving in the true immortal world as long as he chose a suitable realm to stay low in carefully but his gaze affixed on them at the current moment, willing to use a single move to kill all three of them.

However, his action was interrupted by a woman who walked past him, causing him to be shocked over how she got past the eighteen steps.

She was none other than Fairy Aila Cherryweave. However, he could see that her skin gave off a pink glow ever so lightly, only making her more beautiful.

He wondered if this strange state of hers had anything to do with her passing the second challenge.

But wasnʼt energy prohibited from being used?

”You… why would you do that?”

Fairy Aila Cherryweaveʼs amethyst eyes shook as she directed her question towards the purple-robed men whom Davis addressed as the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realmʼs Hexadra Clan.

One of the three purple-robed men who reacted to Davisʼs question now revealed a leering smile.

”You would really ask that to our face? Weʼre men, and we do what we do. Is it really any surprise? If you donʼt like it, why donʼt you remain somewhere safe instead of venturing outside? And if you like it, weʼre also willing to do you, although it would be better… if you could act unwilling.”

”Second brother, their body eventually accepts us anyway. Resistance is futile.” Another purple-robed man of the Hexadra Clan commented.

”Sigh, itʼs a pity that beauty chose death over us, third brother. If Iʼd known that she wouldʼve committed suicide, I wouldʼve enjoyed her a bit more.”

”Donʼt worry. We still have her corpse, and with our soul control, she could very well be our flesh puppet.”

”Ahaha!~”

The both of them burst into a fit of laughter as they held their stomach, their eyes full of sleaziness and scorn as they roamed their eyes over Fairy Aila Cherryweave. In fact, they even summoned all six of their heads, side by side, two on each side and one above their head, as they twisted their long tongues out at her as though they were trying to get her provoked or disgusted as much as possible.

Fairy Aila Cherryweave indeed glared at them. She felt extremely vexed as she knew that she wouldnʼt be able to harm them, much less kill them.

”You wretched monsters deserve to die a hundred deaths, never to reincarnate.” However, she cursed with all her heart, tears welling up in her eyes as she was unable to believe Fairy Selene Lunaris had met such a vile end.

”And how are you going to accomplish that?” The second brother sneered at her.

”Lady,” Suddenly, the third person from the Six-Headed Hydra Upper Realmʼs Hexadra Clan, who was silent all this time, opened his mouth, his tone polite, ”Itʼs one thing to talk, but if youʼre really going to come after us after weʼre satisfied, we really canʼt say no to an extra meal, can we?”

”Bastards, letʼs see how you can leave this region alive after we take the Celestial Luminescence Pill.”

Suddenly, another woman who wore a crimson-azure robe scowled at them. There was no doubt that she would be an empire-toppling beauty, but her expression behind her veil definitely didnʼt appear too good as her brows heavily squinted, her azure-golden pupils staring at them with killing intent as her undulations roared.

A dense aura that was even more powerful than a Kingly Monarch emanated from her, perhaps even matching the level of an Empyreal Monarch, yet not quite up to it.

That polite-sounding man turned to look at her.

”Ralaza Heavenshade, havenʼt you had enough of our feisty tongue? Do you want to experience it once again?”

”…!”

Ralaza Heavenshade trembled in rage.

Every time she opened her mouth, they would just say something indecent to shut her down, leaving her no gap to berate them. She could only endure, but this endurance also has its limit.

”Die!”

She pounced towards them, causing her two other fellow disciples to follow her.

Flicking her hands, fierce undulations reverberated around her palm as she gathered blazing fire energy around her. They condensed into a mighty draconic force that Davis and the others hadnʼt seen before except Myria. It was filled with the tyrannical will of the dragon race, flames that were designed to utterly impose its incinerating and destructive nature on its victims.

Such flames surged from two of them, one from Ralaza Heavenshade and the other from Reo Heavenshade.

As for the last man, who was also a Heavenshade, he summoned wind with the same tumultuous and tyrannical aura, causing the air to soar with an intense heat that caused Fairy Aila Cherryweave to retreat as she put up a pink barrier before her.

*Booom!~*

The three Heavenshades struck the three men from the Hexadra Clan, causing an overwhelming explosion to occur that surpassed the likes of a normal Empyreal Monarchʼs attack as the Heavenshades seemed to have combined their attacks with fire and wind.

Davisʼs gaze flickered that these Heavenshade Clanʼs disciples released fire or wind energy but not earth energy from what he had seen.

But following the giant explosion that covered half the chamber, a mist began releasing from the center.

Everyone could sense water energy flowing at the point of impact, causing most of them to understand that the damned men from the Hexadra Clan were still alive, perhaps even unharmed, and even if they were injured, they imagined they probably wouldʼve regenerated any part within a single second.

Davis also knew it wouldnʼt be this easy to kill them.

However, he was a bit content as he saw the Azure Dragon Upper Realmʼs Heavenshade Clan take action against these evildoers.

*Whoosh!~*

Suddenly, Ralaza Heavenshade swiftly approached him and stopped a few meters away but only cast him a single glance at him before looking further.

”Youʼre Fairy Aila Cherryweave, arenʼt you? Come with me. We, the Heavenshade Clan of the Azure Dragon Upper Realm, will protect you.”

”H-How do you know me?”

Fairy Aila Cherryweave turned cautious, her hand even moving towards Davisʼs sleeve as though wanting to rely on him.

”We have Fairy Xiu Juili with us, and she told us about you after listening to what had happened to Fairy Selene Lunaris. She lamented her ending but didnʼt want you to meet the same fate. Of course, weʼll only protect you as long as you oust yourself from this competition. Otherwise, we remain as rivals, but even that remains to be seen as youʼre all illegal participants who stepped foot here due to an accident in your realm that was caused by him. Isnʼt that right, Anarchic Divergent?”

Ralaza Heavenshade returned her gaze to Davis, boldly questioning him.
