Divine Emperor Demon Emperor

Chapter 621: Chapter 621: The Definition of Incorrigible

After the incident with the Monk and Daoist, the warriors of the Demon Palace clearly had a negative opinion of Lin Yun and his group. Lin Yun could do nothing about it. What was done was done.

As for the Monk and Daoist, Lin Yun had taken an extremely firm approach, ordering Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger to shadow them constantly, not allowing the pair to take even half a step out of the small courtyard.

Over a month had passed since their arrival in this world, and Lin Yun had successfully broken through to the Peak of the Celestial Spirit Realm.

To break through to the Peak of the Celestial Spirit Realm in just over a month was something that would have been completely unimaginable on the Celestial Spirit Continent. It was all thanks to the unique rules of this world.

Though a bit slower than Lin Yun, Xi Zijin had also broken through to the Peak of the Celestial Spirit Realm yesterday. The Monk and Daoist, however, were still at the Great Success stage of the Celestial Spirit Realm.

After a month of continuous, arduous cultivation, Lin Yun was taking a rare moment to relax, drinking alone in the courtyard pavilion.

”Drinking alone?” At some point, Xi Zijin had come up behind Lin Yun. She offered him a slight smile and spoke.

Having spent a long time with Lin Yun, Xi Zijin was no longer as cold as she had been at the beginning. At least when speaking to him, she could manage a small smile.

”I see you’ve broken through as well. Come, sit and have a drink,” Lin Yun said with a smile, sensing that Xi Zijin’s Cultivation had reached the Peak of the Celestial Spirit Realm.

Lin Yun could easily sense Xi Zijin’s Cultivation, but she couldn’t sense the slightest trace of his aura. Having grown accustomed to this, Xi Zijin sat down beside Lin Yun and poured herself a cup of wine.

The two drank and chatted idly. Not seeing the Monk and Daoist, Xi Zijin asked casually, ”Where are the Monk and Daoist? I haven’t seen them.”

Hearing this, Lin Yun gave a bitter smile. After the last incident, he had confined those two to the courtyard. Faced with Lin Yun’s firm hand, the Monk and Daoist had simply decided to become complete shut-ins, locking themselves in their room all day.

Lin Yun told Xi Zijin about what the Monk and Daoist had done. Because she had been in closed-door cultivation, Xi Zijin hadn’t known that they had actually slept with the Second Commander’s wife.

After hearing Lin Yun’s account, Xi Zijin’s expression turned ugly. She knew the Monk and Daoist were lecherous, but she never imagined they were rotten to the core with it—daring to even sleep with a married woman.

”So you’re saying they haven’t left their room in days?” Xi Zijin asked, looking at Lin Yun.

He nodded. The mention of the Monk and Daoist suddenly sparked a very bad feeling in Lin Yun. It hadn’t seemed strange before, but now that he thought about it... ’The Monk and Daoist have been far too quiet these past two days.’

Lin Yun knew their personalities. He had ”robbed” them so many times, yet the three of them never held a grudge overnight. That was just the way the Monk and Daoist were.

Sensing something was amiss, Lin Yun led Xi Zijin toward the Monk and Daoist’s room. Just as they reached the door, Lin Yun saw Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger sleeping soundly.

His brow furrowed slightly. Without waking them, Lin Yun pushed the door open. At a single glance, both Lin Yun and Xi Zijin were left completely stunned, frozen on the spot.

This... Inside the room, besides the Monk and Daoist, were two women from Demon City. The four of them, their pale bodies stark naked, were lying on the bed.

As a woman seeing such a scene, it was a wonder Xi Zijin didn’t scream. Still, one look at her face showed that she had turned bright red.

Several empty wine jars were scattered around the room. The four of them were completely unaware of Lin Yun and Xi Zijin’s presence, because they were all dead asleep.

This was especially true for the Monk and Daoist; even in their sleep, their hands were roaming, and lecherous smiles were plastered on their faces.

”They really never change...” A mixture of exasperation, anger, and amusement played across Lin Yun’s face. He was at a loss for words.

With a thunderous shout, Lin Yun startled the Monk and Daoist awake. They bolted upright, their eyes flying open. The first thing they saw was Lin Yun and Xi Zijin standing in the doorway.

”Young Master Lin... Zijin... W-what are you two doing here?” the two of them asked, almost in unison.

”Get dressed and come outside,” Lin Yun ordered, not even wanting to speak while looking at their pale, naked bodies. He would talk to them after they were clothed.

After stepping outside with Xi Zijin, Lin Yun woke Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger. ”Did you two really not leave this spot for even a single Half-step?”

At his words, Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger both nodded. Seeing their sleepy-eyed appearances, Lin Yun knew these two were completely incapable of guarding the Monk and Daoist.

What kind of people were the Monk and Daoist? They were the craftiest of old scoundrels. Forget the naive Little Ape and Black-striped Tiger; even someone like Li Tian would have to be extra careful around their scheming minds.

He didn’t blame Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger. After a short wait, the Monk and Daoist came out, fully dressed. Behind them were the two women from Demon City.

He sized up the two women. Though not as beautiful as the Second Commander’s wife, they were at least passable.

”You two really can’t stop for a single moment, can you?” Lin Yun asked irritably, looking at them. ”What, are you trying to sleep your way through all the women in Demon City?”

”Hmph. Perverts. Scum...” Xi Zijin muttered coldly from the side.

Caught red-handed by Lin Yun again, the Monk and Daoist didn’t try to argue this time. They just gave a couple of embarrassed, dry laughs before speaking.

”Young Master Lin, it’s just that we’ve been cooped up for too long, and there’s nothing to do all day...” the Monk said.

”Look at you two, still at the Great Success stage of the Celestial Spirit Realm. A battle is about to break out. With your current Cultivation, are you planning on being cannon fodder?” Lin Yun retorted.

Lin Yun was utterly speechless when it came to these two. Making them give up wine and women would probably be harder than killing them.

’I really have no idea how the Buddha could have accepted disciples like these two,’ he thought. ’They’re giving a whole new definition to what it means to be a clergyman.’

Without wasting any more words, Lin Yun told the Monk and Daoist to send the two women back where they came from. He told them that the final battle was about to erupt, and whether they could obtain the treasures in the ruins all depended on this fight.

Tempted by the promise of treasure, the Monk and Daoist nodded without a second thought. Women could be found anywhere, but treasures were a different matter. After entering the ruins, what the Monk and Daoist wanted most was, naturally, the treasure.

Following Lin Yun’s arrangement, the Monk and Daoist secretly sent the two women back. Judging by their parting, it seemed the women had actually developed feelings for the Monk and Daoist.

’What the hell kind of world is this, where a fat monk and a Seductive Daoist are so popular with women?’ he grumbled in extreme annoyance. ’If there’s one thing I have to admire about the Monk and Daoist, it’s their skill at picking up girls.’
