Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 308: Chapter 172: Stealing the Sky and Swapping the Sun (Third Update)

And he still had so many video images.

As Joyce Shaw searched through them one by one, she discovered that from these robots’ visual system images, she could almost see all the internal precision workshops of the National Grid!

More importantly, if she could crack the most crucial visual imaging system of the robots, she could crack the AI control system of the robots, which would be equivalent to having control over all the buttons in the National Grid’s most precision workshop!

Being a specialist in artificial intelligence, she knew how easy remote control was once you understood the opponent’s robot control system.

The more intelligent something is, the easier it is to control.

No, that’s not right.

This isn’t raw data that just anyone can get.

And these robots were not actually from the small company they planned to buy!

The AI of the National Grid was at the forefront worldwide, and a small company could only receive some outsourced tasks from them, like cleaning.

Because she knew that with the scale of the National Grid, it was impossible for them to use other companies’ robots for precision control in their internal workshops.

They would only use the robots they developed themselves.

So it proved once again that this data didn’t come from the small company they intended to acquire but directly from the National Grid.

Joyce Shaw then recalled the phone call Thomas made to someone that Sunday in the computer lab.

He mentioned that this was original data obtained from ”insiders”...

Thinking about it this way, it really was hair-raising.

Also, there was the sudden power outage throughout Capital City that afternoon for fifteen minutes, supposedly due to problems with the National Grid.

And just before that day, she had just sent Thomas a restored image of one-tenth of the decrypted videos.

Connecting one event after another pointed to a conclusion that filled her with dread.

More importantly, she unknowingly participated in this matter, and she was the one who contributed the most!

Joyce Shaw was drenched in sweat, her hands shaking uncontrollably.

What to do?

What should she do?

How could she offset her mistakes?

How could she be so foolish as to assist in these heinous acts?!

Joyce Shaw’s palms were sweating, her forehead beaded with perspiration, and soon, her entire body felt as if she had just been pulled out from water, drenched inside and out.

She sat in front of her computer for a long time, then resolutely downloaded a virus program, corrupting all the programs on her computer, including all the decrypted videos she had just unlocked.

Then she used a hard disk formatting program to erase all the original contents of her hard disk, wiping out all her work from the past month.

She then restored the system and reinstalled the operating system.

While waiting for the computer to recover, Joyce Shaw went to the computer lab.

Sitting down in front of the computer she used that afternoon, she connected again to the computer with hacker programs.

She noticed it had the highest level of authority, equivalent to a server in their company’s network, and could access their company’s internal computers even without the hacker programs.

However, to hide her tracks, she used the hacker programs to connect to Thomas’s computer.

She rummaged through Thomas’s computer and found an encrypted file.

Joyce Shaw started decrypting this encrypted file using her own cracking program.

By the time dawn was breaking, she finally cracked the file.

Upon opening it, she found a list of personnel, including these people’s ID numbers, positions, and work units!

Without exception, these people belonged to the National Grid!

Joyce Shaw had now completely confirmed her suspicions. She downloaded the list, and on the way, she planted a few computer viruses into Thomas’s computer, destroying his original data files.

After doing all this, Joyce Shaw stretched, stood up, walked out of the computer lab, and found that it was already daylight outside.

She headed to her office, planning to send Thomas a resignation letter and then pack up and leave immediately.

Just as she walked into her office, she heard the company door open, Mary Palmer arriving for work, and Joseph Saunders, disturbed, grumbling as he came out of his office.

Joyce Shaw was very nervous, as this was the first time she had done such a thing and wasn’t sure what the consequences would be.

But she instinctively felt she couldn’t let Thomas get hold of that information.

The information had nothing to do with the small company their company was planning to acquire, and the confidentiality agreement likely didn’t apply here.

She tried to remain calm as she sat in front of her computer, seeing that her freshly reinstalled computer was ready for use.
