Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Huo Jinnan remained silent, tossed his cigarette butt away, and walked over to the urinal to relieve himself.

Was he really doing this in front of her, and in the women’s bathroom no less!

Her eyes involuntarily landed on Huo Jinnan, his well-tailored suit pants accentuating his lean legs.

Caught in a moment of panic, she realized she had walked into the wrong restroom!

In just an instant, the air around seemed to freeze, and the entire bathroom was so quiet that she could hear her own erratic breathing.

Huo Jinnan turned to look at Che Huan, his captivating eyes resting on her cheeks.

”I... You’re shameless!”

Che Huan turned to pull the door, but hearing footsteps approaching the entrance, she stopped abruptly, her hand retracting as she realized she could only stay put, unable to leave! Luckily, it appeared there was no one else in the bathroom!

Soon, there were knocks on the door and cursing voices from outside.

”Is this restroom broken? Why isn’t there a sign?!”

”Damn it, what a crappy five-star hotel!”

................................................

As she listened to the men outside making complaints over the phone, she stood there, not daring to move or turn around, her face growing hotter and hotter!

Huo Jinnan was definitely doing this on purpose!

The despicable man!

After a while, the cursing faded away, and just as the surroundings quieted down, that familiar voice reached her ears.

”So, you’re more interested in me personally?”

Huo Jinnan elegantly fastened the button of his trousers and buckled his belt, his voice seductively magnetic.

”...”

Che Huan was momentarily struck dumb, unsure how to respond!

She reached for the door, but her wrist was suddenly grasped tightly. She was uncontrollably spun around, coming face to face with Huo Jinnan at breakneck speed.

She had just raised her hand when both of her wrists were seized.

With one hand holding her and the other lighting a cigarette, Huo Jinnan took a leisurely drag and asked, ”What brings you here today?”

Che Huan bit her lip and forcefully blurted out, ”Blind dating!”

Huo Jinnan remained silent, his gaze deep and intense upon Che Huan.

Che Huan felt suffocated under his stare, wanting to say something but unsure what to say, a torrent of emotions swirling in her chest.

To think she’d encounter him today when she wished never to see him again!

Huo Jinnan glanced down at the burning cigarette, his eyes dark as ink, his voice sexy and enigmatic, ”Blind dating?”

”Can’t I go on blind dates? Mr. Huo surely shouldn’t care, right?”

Che Huan bit her lower lip, thinking about how foolish she once was to have those indescribable feelings for him, and bit her lip even harder.

Huo Jinnan remained silent, simply standing there smoking.

He was the one who should be feeling guilty. She was the one who was hurt, the one he had used!

Yet there he stood, as if just a glance from him held a captivating power, as if the roles were reversed and she was the one who had done something wrong!

Che Huan took a deep breath and burst out angrily, ”You saved my uncle once, and you’ve used me to take revenge on Gu Jizhou. From now on, we’re even, water under the bridge!”

She struggled to turn around, but the grip on her wrist intensified, and she was thrust against his solid chest, her nose aching!

Standing up straight, she rubbed her nose and looked up, glaring at Huo Jinnan angrily.

Huo Jinnan looked down at Che Huan, his breath deep and intense, ”Shen Mubai won’t marry you.”
