Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Chapter 164: 164 Father-Son Conflict (2)_1

Huo Jinnan snuffed out his cigarette and looked out the window.

The little guy glanced at him and sucked his cheeks, ”Then bring her back early, so great-grandfather won’t force you to marry that Gu Yunqing.”

Huo Jinnan turned to look at the little guy, ”Don’t talk about what I told you today with anyone else.”

”Oh, I know!” The little guy nodded, looking at Huo Jinnan curiously, why couldn’t he talk about it?

Huo Jinnan glanced at the little guy and diverted his gaze, leaving the little one’s bedroom.

The little guy watched Huo Jinnan leave and sat on his bed, happily gazing at the crystal lamp overhead. Mom, so he had a mom!

What would his mom look like?

Gentle, sizzling?

Huo Jinnan must like mom, right? Otherwise, why would he have him with mom?

This way, would Huanhuan really be only his?

The more the little guy thought, the more excited he became. He picked up his cell phone, scrolled to Che Huan’s number, dialed it, but was still prompted that it didn’t exist. He frowned, and his mood instantly plummeted to rock bottom.

Did Huanhuan not like him anymore?

Could it be that she had fallen for Gu Jizhou?

Thinking of Gu Jizhou, the little guy unhappily pursed his lips.

Just laying on the bed, tossing and turning, he kept thinking about mom and Che Huan.

That night, he had a dream where his mom looked like a fairy, watching him tenderly, gently calling out ”Xiaowei.”

When Huo Jinnan was fierce with her, mom gave Huo Jinnan a stare.

Huo Jinnan immediately didn’t dare to make a sound.

Sitting in mom’s embrace, he happily watched Huo Jinnan’s deflated look, feeling more wonderful than ever...

The next day, the alarm clock beside the bed wouldn’t stop ringing.

The little guy got up with a scowl, pouting and squinting as he slid off the bed, went to the bathroom, and washed up.

After freshening up, he went downstairs and saw Huo Jinnan sitting there. He stole a glance at Huo Jinnan; the scene from the dream was too beautiful. He really hoped dad would bring mom home soon, preferably a fiery one who could manage Huo Jinnan!

During breakfast, seeing that Nurse Rong was not around, the little guy couldn’t help but speak up, ”Do you have a photo of mom?”

”No.”

Huo Jinnan kept his head down and had his breakfast.

The little guy sucked his cheeks, wanting to ask more, but seeing Nurse Rong come over, he instantly became quiet.

When Nurse Rong left, he glanced at Huo Jinnan and quietly asked, ”Is my mom pretty?”

”Pretty.”

Huo Jinnan muttered softly, gracefully sipping his silver fungus congee.

The little guy saw Nurse Rong approaching again and quietly, discreetly ate his breakfast.

After breakfast, Uncle Lu took him to school. Seeing Huo Jinnan get into the back seat, the little guy took the initiative to sit next to Huo Jinnan, inching his little butt closer to him.

Huo Jinnan looked down at the little guy, ”Move over a little.”

”Oh!” The little guy scooted to the side.

Huo Jinnan glanced at him and leaned over to fasten his seat belt.

The little guy turned his head to look at Huo Jinnan and wriggled his bottom, ”Why don’t you bring her back early?”

Huo Jinnan looked down at the little guy.

With both hands on his legs, the little guy sat obediently, timidly speaking up, ”Wouldn’t that be nice?”

Huo Jinnan spoke softly, ”Wait a little longer.”

”Why?”

The little guy pursed his lips, looking at Huo Jinnan with tightly furrowed brows.

Huo Jinnan sat there, silent.

The little guy turned his head to look the other way, really unable to understand what Huo Jinnan was thinking!
