Daddy Always Gets Jealous

Chapter 163: 163 Father-Son Conflict (1)_1

”Huo Jinnan, did you even hear what I said?”

Huo Jinnan glanced up at the little guy. ”Go out, I’m still busy.”

”I’m not going out!”

The little one pouted, plunked down on the sofa and made himself comfortable leaning back.

Huo Jinnan stood up, walked over to the little guy, picked him up, and threw him onto the bed.

The little one rolled over on the bed and sat up. ”You old man, actually fighting over a girlfriend with your own son!”

”Old man?”

Huo Jinnan stared at the little guy.

The little one pursed his lips, ”In a few years, when I’ve grown up, you’ll be old, but I’ll still be fresh meat, Huanhuan definitely won’t like an old sausage like you!”

Huo Jinnan looked down at the little one, his eyes growing darker and darker, ”Where did you learn all this foul language?”

The little one pursed his lips and stayed silent, just glaring at Huo Jinnan. After a while, his glare softened and he slowly averted his gaze!

Anyway, by that time, he would be young, and Huo Jinnan would be old, he was sure he wouldn’t be outcompeted!

Huo Jinnan sat at the head of the bed and lit a cigarette.

The little one took a look and spoke up timidly, ”If that’s not the case, why don’t you find me a mom?”

Huo Jinnan glanced at the little one, ”You have a mom, why would I need to find one?”

The little one’s eyes widened, staring at Huo Jinnan. ”Didn’t you say Yunqing wasn’t my mom?”

”She isn’t.” Huo Jinnan flicked off the ash, his gaze intense.

The little one stared at him with big round eyes for a while, poking the pillow next to him. Suddenly, he seemed nervous, ”Then... who is my mom?”

Huo Jinnan was silent for a moment, then looked at the little one.

The little one stole a glance at Huo Jinnan. ”Were you mean to her, and she doesn’t want to be with you anymore, so she left you?”

Huo Jinnan furrowed his brow slightly but remained silent.

Could it really be like that?

Who would put up with Huo Jinnan, who’s always so cold, like an unmelting ice bump, so charmless!

The little one’s heart skipped a beat, worried Huo Jinnan might get angry from embarrassment. He pursed his lips and his gaze drifted off, silently ignoring what he had just said, ”It can’t be that whoever gave birth to me, you don’t even know, right?”

Thinking of the team leader running into Che Huan at the Gu Family’s place five years ago in that room, Huo Jinnan gracefully tapped off more ash.

The little one timidly glanced at Huo Jinnan, now accustomed to talking to himself, ”She couldn’t have gotten together with someone else, could she?”

If that were the case, he felt a bit sorry for Huo Jinnan!

Huo Jinnan looked at the little one. ”No.”

The little one frowned. ”Then do you know where she is now?”

Huo Jinnan saw how the little one looked, so much like Che Huan around the forehead and eyes, ”I know.”

The little one tapped his fingers. ”Then why don’t you bring her back?”

”There are still some things that haven’t been done yet.” Huo Jinnan stood up, walked to the balcony, and looked out the window.

The little one watched his back, puffing out his cheeks, ”Then do you like her?”

”...” Huo Jinnan was silent.

The little one curiously watched him. ”Does she like you?”

Huo Jinnan turned his head to look at the little one and faintly ”hmmed” in response.

The little one’s heart swelled with joy. That meant he had a mom, and his mom still liked Huo Jinnan. Huo Jinnan probably wouldn’t compete with him for Huanhuan now, right?

Wouldn’t he then have both a girlfriend and a mom at the same time?

In that instant, the little guy’s mood brightened. He glanced at Huo Jinnan, his voice very soft, ”Then sorry, I misunderstood you.”
