Chapter 137: Volume 3 Chapter 39 Smuggling Ship

Milan has fallen asleep, her beautiful face still bearing the flushed remnants of passion. She curled up like a child, her silky long hair spread over the pillow. Her long eyelashes trembled lightly in sleep, her silky back exposed beyond the thin blanket. Her body’s alluring curves formed a devilish arc at her slender waist, her full hips creating a round ripple on the blanket. In the small room, lit only by the wall lamp, there was a breathtaking beauty and allure.

Tian Xingjian gently and slowly got out of bed, covering Milan’s exposed, cream-like delicate back with the thin blanket. He stood quietly at the bedside, gazing at the beautiful woman who finally belonged to him, unsure if he felt joy or confusion. He slowly got dressed, leaned over, and planted a gentle kiss on the sleeping Milan’s face, whispering softly, ”On the day we ultimately achieve victory, let’s get married.” He turned and left the room, gently closing the door behind him.

The wall lamp in the lounge emitted a soft yellow light, very quiet. Milan remained in her sleep, this moment had already transformed her into a woman who was relaxed, having finally given herself to the man she loved. As if in the midst of a good dream, she lightly twisted her body, comfortably tucking her fair right hand under the pillow, her face sinking into the soft pillow, a gentle smile blossoming at the corner of her beautiful mouth.

Transforming [Logic] into a [Lada] giant truck, he loaded the [Hurricane] obtained from the mechanical repair center. Fatty boarded the transport ship flying towards the capital. [Logic] would not be easily mobilized unless absolutely necessary, after all, this Mecha was involved in too many secrets, and it was hard to guarantee that during encounters with the Mythical Army, the Gazalin Empire would obtain knowledge of this Mecha. Therefore, bringing the [Hurricane] was the best disguise for his civilian mechanic identity. The journey would start from the capital; the whole operation had a meticulous plan in place. Colonel Clark of the Military Intelligence Bureau would be responsible for executing the plan. He was to send Fatty onto a smuggling ship to enter the Gazalin Empire through the Public Star Domain.

The transport ship did not land at Guardian Airport in the capital Lutered City but instead landed at a secluded military airport. When Fatty stepped out of the cabin door, Colonel Clark was already waiting outside the transport ship. He was a middle-aged man in civilian clothes, appearing very amiable, always speaking with a smile, bringing a sense of warmth. After confirming each other’s identities, Clark enthusiastically took Tian Xingjian’s luggage and ushered him into a flying car. This black, extended flying car had evidently been modified, traveling very quickly and smoothly, with almost no engine noise. Being adept at mechanics, Fatty only needed one glance to know that ordinary missiles were completely ineffective against such a flying car.

The flying car was allocated onto the seventy-first small flying car road following the airport’s automatic guidance paths. This road was centrally located among all the roads, exclusive to high-ranking officials, making Fatty feel somewhat flattered. Growing up in the capital, he never imagined he would one day sit in such a flying car, speeding along this heavily-guarded road. For the first time, he felt that becoming a General might not be as difficult to accept as he had imagined. He regretted choosing not to climb the ranks for retirement.

After more than an hour of high-speed driving, the flying car veered onto a small road following the automatic guide paths. This small road had numerous intersections, where no signs were visible, winding like a labyrinth until the road extended to a four-story beige building.

Under Colonel Clark’s guidance, Fatty walked into the building, passing through dozens of security lines before entering its interior. The building was not as small as it appeared from the outside. It was a hundred-story skyscraper, only the top four stories exposed above ground, and its exit was on the ninety-seventh floor. The whole building was elliptical, with an atrium running from underground to the top, every floor’s hallway bustling with officers in Military Intelligence Bureau uniforms, busily coming and going. Undoubtedly, this was a secret division of the Federation Military Intelligence Bureau.

Tian Xingjian was familiar with the Intelligence Bureau’s headquarters building; it was near the President’s office and the Ministry of Defense. Because of the intelligence division’s mystery, many tourists enjoyed taking photos in front of the building, which appeared ancient and quaint. Reflecting on it now, the building likely handled only routine matters, while the real secret institutions were hidden from public view.

Colonel Clark led Tian Xingjian to the ninety-ninth floor, the building’s rest area, comprehensive with a bar, coffee shop, ballroom, restaurant, guest room, and more. Fatty was led into a guest room, where Clark invited Fatty in, smiling, and said, ”You should rest for a while, don’t worry about the plan; we have arranged everything. In a couple of days, a smuggling ship will depart from Condila City. We’ve coordinated with the Snakehead, and you’ll travel as a stowaway aboard the smuggling ship, reaching Mezrich. Since the war started, many Vibo people from Gazalin have returned to the Gazalin Empire in this manner. Such clandestine travel won’t affect your identity.”

Tian Xingjian put down his luggage, glanced around the luxurious guest room, and smiled at Clark, nodding, ”Alright, thank you for your efforts.” Clark waved his hand dismissively and said, ”It’s my job; the real danger lies with people like you. If I don’t do my job well, not only will the mission fail, but your safety will be jeopardized. Well then, I need to attend a meeting to discuss follow-up arrangements for this task. Rest well; I won’t disturb you.” Clark waved goodbye and left.
