Beneath the Red Dragon

Huge dragon eggs shimmered with various hues, the rough surface of the shells also stained in a myriad of colors, resembling elongated, hard stone eggs of different shades.

Here, not only are there eggs of Five-Color Dragons, but also some eggs of Bronze Dragons and Red Copper Dragons, all laid by the Five-Color Dragons around the Golden Empire, and some were brought back from the wild by the once young Red Dragon Kedelos and Blue Dragon Carlette couple.

The eggs of Bronze Dragons and Red Copper Dragons are the first offspring of the couple Bronze Dragon Alina and Red Copper Dragon Alfred.

Among them, the dragon eggs with the characteristics of the Red Copper Dragon obviously inherited the bloodline of Red Copper Dragon Alfred, while the eggs of the Bronze Dragon carry the bloodline from Bronze Dragon Alina.

Do not be surprised, for the offspring of Giant Dragons are so peculiar; the one with the stronger bloodline power does not necessarily dominate the bloodline heritage of the offspring.

Giant Dragons can begin to possess reproductive abilities in their adolescence, maturing formally in their youth stage, but whether they produce offspring depends on the will of the Giant Dragon itself.

The union of the Bronze Dragon Lord and the Red Copper Dragon Lord did not stir any waves within the Empire. To the dragons, this is an extremely normal matter.

For the citizens of other empires, the matters of the Giant Dragons need not be decided by others.

The life existing within the dragon eggs in this space, strictly speaking, constitutes the new generation of members for the future of the Golden Empire, who will be born carrying the ideals and will of the Empire.

These numerous dragon eggs are buried under the roots of the World Tree Ovo, with only half of the shell exposed. The dense network formed by interwoven magical elemental energies enwraps and connects these dragon eggs, providing abundant nourishment and vitality from the World Tree to nurture these future lives.

At the far end where the dragon eggs extend, two stone cliffs obstruct the distance of space, forming a portal resembling a canyon gateway.

Two White Bone Giant Dragons sit crouched upon the cliffs, gazing upward at the rotating moons formed by the plane core above this space’s dome, their gentle power spilling onto the two White Bone Giant Dragons, dyeing their deep eye sockets in silver-white.

”King!”

The soul vibrations from the two White Bone Giant Dragons bowing their heads in reverence towards the Ancestral Red Dragon.

These were the two young White Dragons who perished in the Beastman War; their young souls unwilling to retreat into the unknown and relinquish their future, thus staying anchored in this world under the power of the Ancestral Red Dragon.

And so they became the first members of the Dragon’s Tomb Village, their passage of life buried here, their road of death reborn here.

And they are also the Guardian Giant Dragons safeguarding the new generation of the Golden Empire, guarding the hope of the living with the souls of the dead!

The dead have their return, to protect the living!

In this Domain World, the symphony of balance between life and death is reached.

Karon Gogomola lightly nods his immense head, then scans the empire’s new generation.

The dragon hatchlings born here in the future will survive and not suffer the high death rate like the dragon eggs in the wild.

For even the eggs laid by Giant Dragons require a hatching environment that suits their adaptation, and the basic necessary conditions depend on the kind of dragon egg.

The Black Dragon’s egg and the Red Copper Dragon’s egg must be soaked in corrosive ground acid, with the Black Dragon’s egg also typically being able to be buried in wetlands or marshes, and the Red Copper Dragon’s egg being able to be buried in cool sand or soil.

The Blue Dragon’s egg, however, must maintain a certain high surface temperature, approximately between thirty and forty degrees.

While the Red Dragon’s egg must be placed in an area abundant in Fire Element energy or an open flame, with the minimum required temperature of at least fifty degrees.

These conditions, albeit not stringent, are also a major reason why dragon eggs in the wild lose their vitality.

Because very few Giant Dragons care about the eggs they lay, nor do they take good care of their offspring eggs, leaving them to hatch according to their mood.

The fact that Blue Dragon Carlette was able to hatch a majority of dragon eggs was because this Blue Dragon took care of the batch of stolen dragon eggs in the nest, nurturing the first members of the Gogomola Dragon Group with her magic ability.

But henceforth, the offspring of the Empire’s dragons, barring any innate deficiencies, are unlikely to die prematurely during the process.

Moreover, this batch of delayed-hatch dragon younglings will, like the Empire’s Behemoth—Achilles, be sealed with all their Giant Dragon legacy.

This batch of dragon younglings will grow under the Empire’s education and won’t be able to break the bloodline seal set by the Ancestral Red Dragon with the influence of the World Tree Ovo until reaching adolescence, thereby relying on their own independent spirit and will to do so.

The Empire’s new generation has a lower starting point but a foundation ten times stronger than any other group of younglings.

”Though you, Red Dragon, have your own purpose, at least according to your behavior, you are worthy of the title Dragon Emperor.”

Layers of echoing sounds, those of the solemn Dragon Language resonating in the sky.

The Ancestral Red Dragon’s dark golden pupils suddenly lit up bright with brilliance, paying attention to the bizarre waves coming from above the sky.

This strange sensation of vibration is like traversing through the sight of the World Tree Ovo, through time and space.

Karon saw that the comprehensive space-time in the sky of this world seemed to transform into a watery expanse, rippling into transparent substantial ripples.
