Beneath the Red Dragon

This is also why many gods rarely descend in avatar form to the Material Plane World; the gods regard beings as cattle, pigs, and dogs, but many powerful creatures also view the gods as their prey.

However, in Karon’s observations, he discovered an unusual point.

Through the infection of the Power of Faith, the evil will of the Ancestral Dragon Blood was also deflected by the Power of Faith, and the wish power seeking order and goodness from all beings’ prayers shackled the weak will of the Ancestral Dragon Blood.

For Karon, evil is something he dislikes, yet something he must possess. He may choose not to use it, but he cannot allow it to be bound by other forces.

”So the knowledge of the Ancient Magic Empire is correct,” Karon mused, ”No matter how strong a being’s will is, when they condense a Divine Format and ascend to a Divine Position, they will be distorted by their own Divine Format, which is a force from the most fundamental rules of the world.”

”When using the Power of Faith to condense divinity, it is enough to bring about a slight change, twisted by the Power of Faith, and even if the result is good, it’s something I cannot accept.”

”It seems that for me, gathering divinity through my own beliefs and spirit is the most correct path,” Karon extended his claw, putting away the Evil Dragon Blood in the test tube, where the evil will had already begun to hibernate.

”Divinity is not something mysterious; it is merely the sublimation of spiritual will, a product of reaching the ultimate high point,” Karon flipped through the vast treasure vault of knowledge in his mind.

Among it were not only the inherited legacy from the Ancient Magic Empire, the bloodline legacy from the dragons themselves, and the knowledge and theory from a previous life, but also the countless knowledge collected for this Red Dragon by the Golden Empire.

Each piece of knowledge is enough to overwhelm those middle-level mages’ brains and could cause advanced mages’ brains to instantly crash, while in the mind of the Ancestral Red Dragon lies immeasurable knowledge.

”Perhaps the majority of living beings are misled by superficial signs,” Karon, the Master of Humanity, maintained a black sheen in his pupils, through which flowed countless information.

”Deities are products of rules, although to a certain extent, gaining the rights to manage these rules, almost like the creators of rules, they remain unable to detach from these rules.”

”And those most outstanding legends are seeking the path of rules. Although the baseline of gods is much higher than the ceiling of some legends, this does not mean the legendary paths are weaker than the gods. On the contrary, if the legendary pathway reaches the end, it should be stronger than most gods!”

Karon tapped the magic alloy cast experiment table, and the dinging sound was like the beautiful music of wisdom operating in his brain.

”In stories from another cosmos, Death God Yager separated and discarded his Divine Format along with his powerful divinity and powers, supposedly because he was weary of being a deity.”

”But legend also tells of this incredibly powerful deity abandoning his Divine Format and divinity merely to no longer be constrained by the Power of Faith, coveting the path to God of Gods.”

Karon lifted his head, smiled, and murmured to himself, ”Perhaps it can be understood this way; the vast majority of gods, aside from those born divine, are just the lucky ones among the gods of faith, yet those lacking the insight to see the truth, are the eliminated!”

”They are also the loosed ones in wisdom and courage!”

”Becoming a god was simply their best choice!”

The Green Dragon Antajena lifted her head and called out loudly, ”Karon, what are you mumbling about there? Come over quick, I think my experiment has succeeded!”

Karon shook his head, watching the Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster Mo Fanleid, who was concentrating on his experiment.

The voice of the Green Dragon Antajena did not disturb the Great Mage in the compartment, and the deformed creature tied on the experiment table widened its eyes in fear in front of this Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster, with helplessness and panic completely filling its pupils.

The head of an eagle, eyes of a lizard, the body of a lion, tail of a monkey, hooves akin to a Minotaur, a thoroughly deformed variant species.

Legends say that some powerful Demon Lords in the Endless Abyss Plane create demons with primitive materials existing in either other demons or within the Bottomless Abyss itself.

These demons could be akin to mechanical bodies, like Demon Hunting Spiders; some demons are created into undying creatures, like Purgatory Blood Demons.

They can even create truly living otherworldly beings, like the Young Demon swarm.

These meticulously designed demons do not share characteristics; each kind of demon is a unique species.

And the creations from Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster Mo Fanleid, aided by the experimental apparatus and vast materials of the Ancestral Red Dragon’s laboratory, belong to such demonic entities.

However, Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster Mo Fanleid created these deformed species only through the concept of the First Generation Dragon conceived by the Ancestral Red Dragon, harmonizing the essence of the bloodline gene of powerful species existing in the world.

One could say, Mo Fanleid’s experiment was a failure, but it does not hinder this Grandmaster from repurposing these wastes for further use.

The experiment on modifying these beings using the Power of Faith to thereby birth divine beings has already commenced.

Karon felt relieved, after all, Great Mage Mo Fanleid’s experiments, if not handled carefully, might result in disastrous consequences; some divine abominations might accidentally emerge from the Great Mage’s uninformed actions, which even the Ancestral Red Dragon must handle with caution.

This is also why the Holy Sanctuary Grandmaster must rely on the Ancestral Red Dragon’s lab to conduct experiments.
