Beneath the Red Dragon

Instead, they easily found Erikson’s radiant figure, as bright as the sun.

The sky was already dark, and the space thousands of meters around Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson was completely shrouded in darkness and clouds.

Darkness was a force, and clouds were the power of the Ancestral Golden Dragon.

Thick layers of clouds covered the sky, as if the entire firmament had been lowered.

Countless brilliant thunderbolts spread from the clouds like branches, akin to divine spirits hurling thunder light spears into the sea, connecting the heavens and the sea.

The electricity and fire spat out by the Ancestral Golden Dragon, trapped within chains of flickering flames, were paradoxically reinforcing the cage due to its extraction.

The operation of flames and electric magnetic fields, relying on increasingly abundant energy, rendered the Ancestral Golden Dragon unable to annihilate them with elemental power or magic.

Only through the pure physical strength of the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s body could the densely interwoven chains of the cage be shaken.

The furious roar of the dragon and the exploding thunder echoed across the sky, like the howl and screech of a trapped beast.

However, the spells from the Ancestral Red Dragon had already been catalyzed to the extreme.

Absorbing all sunlight and the world’s existing temperatures, a fire prison suddenly ignited with brightness, releasing an intense heat far exceeding that of the sun’s surface, signifying merely the starting point of the spell’s peak power.

On the sea, vast amounts of seawater instantly boiled and evaporated.

An element, unobserved and unknown to the world’s creatures, was born from this stimulation: thermal decomposition hydrogen.

The heat released by the complete combustion of hydrogen is three times that of gasoline of equal mass, but the energy from hydrogen’s nuclear reaction far surpasses this utilization method.

Thus, hydrogen, this microscopic element, underwent a violent elemental transformation under the exceedingly high temperatures, magnetic fields, and gravitational pressure comparable to the sun.

Or it could be called—fusion.

Hydrogen elements fused into helium, which is four measurement units of hydrogen elements fusing into one helium element, during which approximately seven parts per thousand of matter convert to energy.

Though only seven parts per thousand, the energy from matter on the sea is incredibly abundant. Originally, the spell’s effect was merely to transmit the predetermined target to the most suitable location within a thousand miles, utilizing thermal conversion to create effects from the condensation of ice and moisture in the air.

But Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s fortune was unavoidable, as his palace was built atop the cliff by the sea.

Thus, a sun even more dazzling than Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson appeared before all living creatures.

Energy converted from seven parts per thousand of matter in one kilogram of hydrogen is equivalent to the energy released by the complete combustion of four thousand tons of petroleum and six thousand tons of coal.

There was also the original spell power from the Ancestral Red Dragon, released alongside.

Even from a hundred miles away, these creatures felt as if they faced the sun directly at close proximity.

Countless clouds drawn by the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson with the dragon’s and Storm Titan’s bloodline talent were blasted open with a vast opening by the silent explosion shockwave engulfing the world.

Layers of clouds swept high into the sky, forming mushroom-like cloud layers.

Weak young dragons and teenage dragons wailed as they fell from the sky, temporarily blinded by the unguarded brilliance, placing them truly in darkness.

Then followed the boiling sea wind, hardly bearable even for dragons and giants, and the overdue lone sound.

Boom!

The sea boiled in response, with vast mists rising into the air.

But with the gravity field centered on Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s mass, though striving to contain and channel all mighty power, dozens to hundreds of fiery tongues erupted outward in all directions.

Like the fiery tongues on the sun’s surface, they instantly evaporated countless mists and seawater into emptiness.

Countless substances melted by extreme high temperatures formed a boiling sea of lava on the surface of the sea. Endless streams of flames flowed into the ocean from liquefied mountain rocks at the island’s edge.

If not for the magical palace of the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson protecting this cliff with its magical power, it might have met the same fate as the edges of the other islands.

”What kind of power is this?” A young Golden Dragon stared in amazement at the scene in the distance, resembling the coming of doomsday, as the spell shield surging with magic trembled with heart-shaking ripples, as if it might shatter at any moment.

”What mighty power this is!”

”Just one spell can cause such impact; could this be the legendary super-tier Forbidden Magic above the Nine-Ring?”

”Could Erikson truly have perished from just one spell?”

The cloud giants and dragons were stupefied, unable to attend to the courageous elves and paladins lying on the ground moaning, nor could they care for the few young dragons hit by the shockwave and sent flying onto the palace.

Below them, the majestic palace’s magical shield trembled amidst the impact, enduring an unprecedented level of attack.

They could only watch with wide eyes as the mighty power akin to mountains ablaze and seas boiling unfolded before them, blooming with an unparalleled spectacle.

Adult Bronze Dragon Gross stood in the air, pale-faced, alongside the complex-expressioned Natarili and Silver Dragon Chris.

”I never thought the gift from Emperor Gogomola would possess such terrifying power,” Gross said hoarsely. ”His Majesty Gogomola simply said it was an amusing toy with some power, but I guess I underestimated that measure.”

”This Golden Dragon better not have died by your hand, Gross, you might have caused a catastrophe,” the female Bronze Dragon Natarili expressed worry for her companion.

The scene struck fear even in the dragons; the vast sea had an entire area vaporized and evaporated under the sun’s eruption, exposing the near-coastal seabed.

The seabed, suddenly dried and cracked, was strewn with charred remains and carcasses, with countless ocean creatures vaporized completely.

Now the sea water started pouring into this blank sea region, forming a massive whirlpool, rapidly filling the seabed.

Adult Silver Dragon Chris shook her head, speaking softly, ”Do not worry; a spell cannot kill an Ancestral Golden Dragon greatly nearing legend. A Golden Dragon is strong enough, let alone an ancestral one. Ancestral dragons have vitality far exceeding the imagination of ordinary dragons. It’d take Karon acting personally for that to happen.”

”Nevertheless, Gross, you must be cautious with this spell henceforth; fortunately, this erupted over the sea, for if on island terrain, a thousand-mile wasteland would be the least of it.”

Silver Dragon Chris warned solemnly.

Bronze Dragon Gross wore a bitter expression, ”Just casting this one spell nearly drained all my magic, it’s not a spell to be used lightly. Hard to imagine its power from His Majesty Gogomola’s hand.”

Yet a low roar interrupted their conversation.

The fierce light and extremely terrifying heat seemed to last just a moment or to persist indefinitely, until the aftermath faded, revealing the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson to others’ eyes mid-air.

The radiant dragon scales had turned like charcoal, shedding piece by piece; the curled-up Ancestral Golden Dragon now looked exceptionally desolate.

His golden dragon wings had fully dissolved, the white and gold wing bones encasing the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s body.

Through the large holes in the wing bones, one could see the tail and body of the Ancestral Golden Dragon nearly fully carbonized, with only the skeleton intact.

Within the heart’s vigorous beats, a hint of golden light sparkled, firmly resisting the explosive aftermath and the high-energy gamma ray fallout from the nuclear explosion.

A faintly visible massive armor began to appear slowly on the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s body.

Yet this colossal armor, a Heritage Sacred Artifact borne by Titan’s form, had lost its radiance entirely, as fine cracks began spreading like a web.

Crack, crack,

A fragment of armor fell from the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s body, plunging into the sea, splashing dozens of meters high.

With a swish, the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson opened his eyes, the dim golden light being replaced by the dragon blood’s fury and desire for destruction.

He shook off the carbonized flesh and charred scales, emitting a deep pain-filled roar, as the terrifying aura gradually rose.

”You all have thoroughly enraged me,” the Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson said coldly, casting his chilling gaze over hundreds of miles, enunciating each word.
