Beneath the Red Dragon

Finally, Storm Titan Dalia wailed and roared, bound by the dense chains of shadow runes, etched onto her skin and bones.

”What have you done to me?” Storm Titan Dalia finally showed a flustered expression. She could feel the source of Titan’s power within her being continuously absorbed and extracted, but her power was seamlessly fused with the shadow runes, unable to stop or eradicate it.

”Nothing, just conducting an experiment for convenience. After all, I couldn’t refuse the will of Karon Gogomola,” the Shadow Dragon restored its calm and said lightly, ”This Ten Thousand Chaos Destruction is a sealing technique created based on the principle of energy persistence. Better not rely on your foolish brain to resolve it yourself.”

”Go, find the wise and powerful among your Titan race, let them exert the power of wisdom and knowledge to untie this challenge.”

”Based on my assessment of your power and bloodline potential, you have only three years. After three years, if you can’t resolve it, your fate will be—death!”

The Shadow Dragon spread its wings, landing beside Adult Silver Dragon Chris.

Despite knowing the Shadow Dragon was on their side, the few Metal Dragons couldn’t help but feel somewhat fearful.

No wonder—what the Shadow Dragon did was truly horrifying. They could already foresee how today’s events would stir an uproar once spread.

”Why fear me?” The Shadow Dragon tilted its head, contemptuously sneering at these quail-like Giant Dragons, ”We’re all experimental subjects and toys of Karon Gogomola; you should feel close to me.”

”How could that be,” Bronze Dragon Gross couldn’t help but speak, ”Gogomola bestowed such a powerful Magic Marvel upon us, how could it be as you’ve said.”

”Heh,” the Shadow Dragon said disdainfully, ”He just wants to see what kind of depth of Metal Dragon he can glimpse from you. Do you think he’s kind-hearted?”

”Gross, go play with that Book of Knowledge. Each time you release its magic, it absorbs your insight and understanding, growing until one day Ten Trillion Hell Path bursts forth and spontaneously generates a fusion. Your Book of Knowledge will develop its own consciousness, and might even bite you.”

Bronze Dragon Gross’s face changed, muttering, ”It’s no matter; anyway, this book originally didn’t belong to me.”

Adult Silver Dragon Chris couldn’t help but softly say, ”Karon isn’t as bad as you say. Even if some change occurs later, we have received much help from his gifts!”

”Heh,” the Shadow Dragon scoffed, lifting its head without even glancing at the beautiful Silver Dragon, ”I really don’t know what he sees in you. You’re so weak, I could easily crush you like a bug just by extending my claw.”

”You!” Adult Silver Dragon Chris couldn’t help but fume.

The Shadow Dragon shook its head casually, saying, ”Roll up that scroll and hand it over, Chris Tianna; I’ve helped you once. Let’s settle our debts. I need to find my own purpose and journey.”

Adult Silver Dragon Chris’s bright eyes suddenly flashed cunningly. She took out the thick scroll from her scales, pretending to hand it to the Shadow Dragon.

The Shadow Dragon’s long tail couldn’t help but flick quickly, acting indifferently, opening its claw towards the scroll.

But the scroll, not locked, suddenly unfurled under the wind blown from Silver Dragon Chris’s lips, like a flag flapping fiercely.

”Your Majesty, please turn around!” A playful voice sounded, Silver Dragon Chris revealed a smile.

”Damn, I should have known, the prettier the dragoness, the more deceitful!” The Shadow Dragon wailed, its massive shadow absorbed by the blank scroll, uncontrollably falling into it.

”Damn, how dare you defy me! Next time I come out, I’ll kill you all!”

”No, no, this isn’t my true thought; it’s Karon Gogomola’s idea. Chris, don’t let me out again. Next time, I’ll string you all up and beat you!”

With a swish, the scroll rolled up, and all was silent!
