Beneath the Red Dragon

Mountains like seas, the setting sun like blood.

Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson, as resplendent as the morning sun that has just risen.

For other weaker races, such horrid injuries are already a threat to life.

Treating such grievous injuries with magic would at the very least require a High-level Healing Skill for a chance at full recovery.

Yet the vast life force of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson flows with the pumping of his enormous golden heart, massive amounts of Blood of Ancestors gushing from the heart of the Golden Dragon, climbing and covering the snow-white bones like refined iron and steel.

Threads of blood vein draw enormous magic elements, growing visible veins at a remarkable speed, muscles pulsating, muscles connecting to muscles, nerves entwining with nerves, flesh growing in an instant, and turning into a scale-less dragon in a blink.

Yet the throbbing flesh instinctively moves like a terrifying monster.

”Your Majesty Erikson, this is just a misunderstanding,”

Adult Bronze Dragon Gross said bitterly, in a grave voice: ”Chris just couldn’t bear to see the tragic scene of cannibalism among dragons and did not intend to oppose you.”

”I, I just had no idea of the power of this Daoist skill, if you need compensation, we can fully compensate for your losses,”

Bronze Dragon Gross bowed deeply in apology towards Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson whose anger and aura were intensifying in the sky: ”It was my oversight, I am willing to accept punishment and hope Your Majesty will not vent anger on my companions.”

”Gross?”

”You?”

Female Bronze Dragon Natarili and Silver Dragon Chris looked astonished at this male Bronze Dragon; although the two female dragons considered each other companions, they had never thought this male Bronze Dragon Gross would utter such words.

For dragons, such a personality is rarer than the appearance of Ancestral Bloodline among dragons.

Even though Bronze Dragon Gross had undergone Golden Empire training and some ideological changes, the two female dragons couldn’t imagine such a scenario.

Sometimes, imagination relies on the brain’s logic since the brain cannot imagine things nonexistent and illogical, but reality often doesn’t need logic.

A disdainful laughter came from the mouth of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson high above.

”Haha hahahaha,”

Erikson bared blade-like fangs, sneering coldly: ”This is amusing. This is my domain; I am the Emperor of all dragons here, the King of all living beings here; how I handle my subordinates is my right.”

”You came to my domain not only challenging my authority, confronting my majesty, but also used magic to stealthily ambush and injure me. Can such a mistake be compensated by simply Gross’ saying compensation?”

The sky, pierced and scattered by the Ten Trillion Hell Path, regathered clouds layer upon layer with Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s burgeoning anger.

In the clouds, lightning brewed, a storm arose; the last moment of peace before a tempest was upon us.

The Dragon Power of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson seemed to resonate with the vast clouds, high and mighty, oppressing all living creatures’ hearts.

The other Cloud Giants and dragons didn’t gather because of the Ancestral Golden Dragon’s words but hurriedly flew into the distance, only daring to watch far away in the sky.

A scene of chaos, clearly these creatures feared the wrath of the King, deeply afraid of being affected by these three Metal Dragons.

And Erikson’s enormous silhouette roamed the sky, hovering over the three silently standing Metal Dragons, looking down on them.

Cold words came from the Golden Dragon’s mouth: ”I will break all bones of you three dragons, then pin your bodies to copper pillars with long nails, placing them in the center of the largest city in my territory.”

”I want you to endure inexorable, unbearable pain and torture day and night, also let you become a benchmark in the hearts of those daring to defy my will!”

”Also you, Silver Dragon Chris, I intended to utterly conquer you with my achievements and power, making you one of my many mates for the sake of your beauty, but you have disgraced this honor, unworthy of my pity now.”

Adult Silver Dragon Chris was silent but furrowed her slender scale between her brows.

Yet female Bronze Dragon Natarili suddenly spoke: ”Your Majesty Erikson, as an outstanding ruler, you should remain sufficiently rational and calm, can’t we sit down and have a good conversation? Gross offered compensation, and besides, I haven’t done anything!”

Snap, snap,

Golden scales began to grow on this Ancestral Golden Dragon’s body, radiant golden light bursting forth, the immense Dragon Power transforming into a chilling killing intent.

Ancestral Golden Dragon plunged from the sky, extended his claw downward, his roar resounding all around, ”Let me see if you can remain rational and calm while suffering on the copper pillars.”

Crackling, clouds spun, muffled thunder roared, massive column-like lightning burst at the descent of the ancestral Golden Dragon’s claw, rained down in succession, connecting heaven and earth, awe-inspiring like the Divine Spirit’s majestic light.

A chilling aura spread, thunder fell across the sky, Adult Silver Dragon Chris transformed into her true dragon form and roared skyward, spewing massive icy Breath freezing the dense moisture in the air into shards of cold ice.
