Beneath the Red Dragon

Pieces of cold ice formations interlock, layer upon layer of ice formations form into giant snow-silver plates, flowing with a silver-like luster.

Thick lightning bolts struck down on these silver plates, with half of their power reflected away by the magic-created silver plates of Silver Dragon Chris, piercing through layers of dark clouds, reverberating and surging.

The remaining force of the thunderbolts shattered these silver frosty jade plates, leaving only slight sparks powerless against the magic shields raised by several Metal Dragons.

Meanwhile, the adult Bronze Dragon Natarili watched the descent of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson, the intense Dragon Breath already brewing in its mouth.

She shook her head and sighed helplessly, ”Looks like we need to calm this Golden Dragon who only thinks of power, so we can have a proper conversation.”

Natarili stretched out a claw, retrieving a round and tidy mirror from between the scales on her chest.

This mirror appeared especially petite in the claws of the adult Bronze Dragon, its back featuring a vivid red massive Dragon Scale with a slightly curved surface shaped into five gilded claws, encasing a round translucent Gemstone like a mirror.

When the adult Bronze Dragon Natarili raised her claw with the mirror, aiming it at the descending Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson in the sky.

The crystal clear mirror surface suddenly rippled like water, dense Rune patterns intertwined, resembling an Ouroboros devouring its own tail, forming a ring-like alchemical symbol insignia.

Among the intertwined Runes, a symbol of a non-intersecting Mobius loop appeared, with black and white swimming fish Rune manifesting on either side of a curved dividing line.

But whether any mysterious Rune or insignia, they all represent the essence of an entity, the unity of opposites of two entities, the development and change of three entities, the presence of randomness and evolution within complex systems, and the cyclic unity of the specific changes and developments of all things.

These infinitely profound theories are challenging to manifest through actual material forces.

So when the mirror light from the Bronze Dragon Natarili’s mirror fell on Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson, Erikson’s mind and spirit were already trapped in the cyclical changes of the Spiritual Domain.

Bang,

The enormous body of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson fell from the sky, crashing onto the palace built by the Cloud Giant for its master.

If it weren’t for Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s body still instinctively pulsating with its breathing, the other Dragons would have thought this Golden Dragon had perished.

”What have you done?”

”What have you done to Lord Erikson?”

”You’re courting death, you’ve triggered a catastrophe, if anything happens to Lord Erikson, none of you will escape the punishment of death!”

The distant observing Cloud Giants and Dragons were taken aback, roaring and surrounding the three calm Metal Dragons, while the other Metal Dragons bared their fangs, only the outermost Five-Color Dragons grinded on their work, unable to hide the excitement on their faces.

The female Golden Dragon Naloya was the first to land beside Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson, observing that this Golden Dragon’s life had not yet vanished, only then did she turn to face the three Metal Giant Dragons.

”If anything happens to Erikson, not even the ancestors of your race can protect you,” the Golden Dragon Naloya said coldly.

”Kill them! They have trapped Lord Erikson with evil magic, kill them, and everything will be resolved!”

The furious Cloud Giants closed in, their ferocious faces seemingly ready to tear those Metal Dragons apart directly.

Naloya’s golden eyes glanced coldly at the Cloud Giants, roaring, ”Shut up!”

The adult Bronze Dragon Natarili softly said, ”No need to worry, if Lord Gogomola takes action, Erikson is bound to be unable to escape. But with my ideals and views covering Erikson’s mental consciousness, he won’t be trapped for too long, as long as he isn’t that stupid.”

”It had better be so,” Golden Dragon Naloya responded coldly as well.

This mirror is precisely a magical treasure parsed and imitated by the Legendary Ancestral Red Dragon, achieving abilities only attainable beyond Legend with other various thoughts and theories. However, in terms of function, calling it a Magic Marvel is more apt.

But due to extremely special reasons, the spirit of the Ancestral Red Dragon cannot be borne on this mirror.

It purely relies on the mental will of the adult Bronze Dragon Natarili to influence and rewrite. Actually, as long as the body of Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson suffers mortal danger, the survival instinct from the Dragon itself will awaken this Golden Dragon.

Alternatively, if Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson can attain the recognition of the mechanical will that the adult Bronze Dragon injected into the spiritual overwrite within the domain, he can escape such influence.

Or there exists a simple yet brutal method for Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson to escape with his own abilities; he only needs to find this method.

But often, it’s challenging for a living being to realize the limitations of their thinking under the influence of the environment and others.

Thus, Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson’s consciousness is slowly weakening, subtle and indistinct, even Erikson himself can hardly notice this weakness when he is conscious.
