Beneath the Red Dragon

Many of the island’s cities and mountain castle settlements have a style unmistakably belonging to the Cloud Giants, tall and magnificent, with their massive structures often carved with intricate patterns to reflect their culture.

By the time they reached the majestic palace perched atop the seaside cliffs, it was already the afternoon.

The grand and lavish palace almost matched the height of the mountains, flanked by numerous Cloud Giants.

In the grand square of the elegant palace stood a colossal Tree of Life, clearly one of the treasures owned by this Golden Dragon and the Son of the Titan.

The opulence of the palace owned by the Ancestral Golden Dragon needs no further elaboration, but when the Silver Dragon Chris, Bronze Dragon Gross, and Natarili stepped into the palace, they were taken aback slightly.

Not by the luxury and grandeur, but because of the gathered Giant Dragons.

At a glance, there were already dozens of dragons varied in scale color, and surprisingly, the most numerous were not the Metal Dragons, but the evil Colorful Dragon Race.

However, unlike the dragons in the Gogomola Dragon Group, these colorful evil dragons exuded an aura of ferocity and chaos yet stood obediently in the palace, not daring to speak much, gazing with inherently aggressive eyes at the few unfamiliar Metal Dragons entering.

What surprised the three Metal Dragons even more were the young Green Dragons pierced and hung by chains in the palace square, wailing powerlessly in pain.

A group of agitated elves surrounded the Green Dragons, arguing excitedly.

Seated at the end of the palace on the Golden Throne was a handsome, tall youth with black hair and golden eyes, coldly overlooking those below.

Seeing the arrival of dragons like Chris, the surrounding dragons made way, and the palace fell silent.

”Good day, mighty Golden Dragon!” Silver Dragon Chris slowly stepped forward, speaking calmly without any sign of reverence, maintaining her usual aloof demeanor.

”Good day, mighty Lord Erikson, Golden Dragon and Son of the Titan,” the two Bronze Dragons also greeted.

The handsome youth seated on the Golden Throne nodded slightly, then, with a look of interest, asked, ”I heard that even though you were captured by the Gogomola Dragon Group, you still referred to the Ancestral Red Dragon as the King of Dragons, Emperor Gogomola,”

Erikson’s lips curled slightly in a sneer, ”Do you mean to say that the civilization I built for Giant Dragons, the Realm of the Dragons, cannot compare to the civilization born in the Northern Barbaric Lands?”

”I possess the supreme, ultimate Ancient Titan’s blood, as well as the noble Golden Dragon’s Ancestral blood among the True Dragons. My grandfather was the Ancient Golden Dragon, the most honorable in the Ancient Golden Dragon Council, my father a leader in the Dragon Crowned Council, and my mother of the Ancient Supreme Titan’s lineage.”

”I am the Son of the Titan and the Golden Dragon, the master of the Dragon Group, the future Giant Dragon Emperor!”

Erikson laughed boisterously, ”Do not mention those powerful Magic Treasures, even the Heritage Sacred Artifacts in the hands of Legends are at my disposal, and even the so-called Divine Artifacts you deem unattainable, I can wield them with ease.”

”The Five-Color Dragons are subdued by my formidable power, submitting to my absolute might without daring to defy my will. The Metal Dragons are captivated by my wisdom and virtue, the proud elves are my vassals, and even the rebellious Paladins are officials in my territory,”

”Mortal affairs flourish under my reign, with endless resources to reward my beloved ones and subordinates—can this not surpass the achievements of that Red Dragon?” Erikson sneered.

In the vast palace, the atmosphere shifted.

The Metal Dragons stood proudly, wings spread and claws raised, exuding supreme arrogance.

Although the Five-Color Dragons submitted to this Ancestral Golden Dragon, the mention of the distant King of the Dragon Clan, Five-Colored Dragon Emperor Gogomola, softened their previously violent hostility by a degree.

”If you think Titan’s blood is nobler than Golden Dragon’s blood, why not rule the Titans instead of coming here to become the King of Dragons, or do you think dragons are inherently weaker than Titans?”

Silver Dragon Chris retorted coldly, not backing down.

”Oh?” Erikson’s expression turned slightly solemn, chuckling softly, ”Naturally, Titan’s blood and Dragon’s blood are equal; I mean no such thing.”

”Then why do you not claim to be the Son of the Golden Dragon and Titan?” Silver Dragon Chris’s gaze was piercing, fixed directly on this Golden Dragon.

”Why do you sit on the throne of the King of the Dragon Group in the form of a Titan?”

The imposing majesty swept in like tidal waves from the sea, pressing down on all creatures in the palace.

Erikson’s humanoid form was not a Transformation Skill but an authentic Titan form.

”I naturally possess both Titan and Dragon forms, and whichever I use is purely my choice, not altered by others’ opinions,”

The towering Titan Erikson said coldly, ”Just like in my dominion, those vile corrupt officials always meet their end at my blade.”

”If I find one, I kill one; if I find ten, I kill ten; even if there are thousands, I execute them without mercy, never tolerating any act that tramples on order and goodness, regardless of being labeled a tyrant by humans.”
