Chapter 543, Changes in Yuan Energy

Translator: Silavin

Sensing the disturbance of the Yuan Energy within his body, Qin Yichen’s eyes slowly closed as his consciousness swiftly sank into his body.

As his consciousness sank into his body, the scene within his meridians immediately appeared in Qin Yichen’s mind. At this moment, within the numerous meridians in his body, there were wisps and strands of Spirit Seed energy filling them.

These peculiar Spirit Seed energies were rampaging chaotically through his meridians, causing tremendous damage to the most fragile part of the Human body—the meridians.

The originally spacious and resilient meridian pathways had now twisted like dough twists, appearing extremely bizarre and terrifying when viewed internally.

This transformation within his meridians brought Qin Yichen indescribable agony. His body convulsed continuously, his muscles tensed throughout, and veins like earthworms constantly writhed beneath his skin.

In merely a few minutes, the frenzied rampage of the Spirit Seed energy had already wreaked havoc throughout his body.

This was precisely why ordinary people, even if they obtained a Spirit Seed, dared not recklessly absorb it.

“Truly worthy of being a High Grade Spirit Seed…” Enduring this severe pain, Qin Yichen gritted his teeth. It seemed he had somewhat underestimated the tyrannical nature of the Spirit Seed.

At this moment, the Spirit Seed in Qin Yichen’s hand had become dim and lifeless, clearly having had all its energy completely absorbed.

As this energy entered his body, the Yuan Energy within Qin Yichen finally could no longer restrain itself and surged violently from his Dantian.

*Hum…* As a small wisp of Spirit Seed energy made contact with his Yuan Energy, a ripple immediately spread through his meridians. Had Qin Yichen not prepared in advance by covering his meridians with a thin layer of Yuan Energy, that particular meridian would have already ruptured.

*Siii…* Under such excruciating pain, even with Qin Yichen’s willpower, he could not help but gasp in pain.

Immediately after, he once again mobilised his Yuan Energy to surround that small wisp of Spirit Seed energy.

Under the continuous encirclement of his Yuan Energy, this wisp of energy from the Spirit Seed seemed to possess its own intelligence, constantly fleeing in all directions and even continuously colliding with his Yuan Energy, creating chaos throughout his meridians.

“I refuse to believe I cannot subdue you!” Just one small wisp of Yuan Energy had been in stalemate for so long, which inevitably caused Qin Yichen to feel frustrated. Immediately, with a thought, his Yuan Energy surged forth like a tide. In just two breaths’ time, he had successfully enveloped that constantly fleeing wisp of Spirit Seed energy.

Regarding his Yuan Energy, this wisp of Spirit Seed energy seemed extremely wary. Under the encirclement, it temporarily remained quiet within, no longer moving.

Under the encirclement of his Yuan Energy, Qin Yichen’s consciousness also sank into it, beginning to attempt to control that small wisp of Spirit Seed energy.

However, upon first contact with the Spirit Seed energy, Qin Yichen immediately found it extremely troublesome. This Spirit Seed energy had a rather violent attribute, and wanting to control it was clearly not a simple matter.

After failing to control it, Qin Yichen did not give up but instead mobilised his consciousness again, continuously attempting to control this wisp of Spirit Seed energy.

*Hum…* One failure, two failures… With each failure, that wisp of energy would violently surge, delivering a terrible impact to Qin Yichen’s meridians, causing him pain while his Yuan Energy was continuously consumed.

Having experienced countless failures, when he was approaching numbness after so many impacts, Qin Yichen’s heart suddenly trembled. He hurriedly steadied his consciousness and immediately discovered with some delight that the small wisp of Spirit Seed energy within his meridians was actually beginning to follow the guidance of his consciousness. Wrapped in Yuan Energy, it began moving along the pathways of his Spirit Body Technique.

Within the meridians twisted like dough twists, Qin Yichen carefully guided that wisp of tiny energy to circulate. When passing through certain meridians, other Spirit Seed energies seemed to be attracted by this energy and gathered towards it one after another.

Utilising this mutual attraction between Spirit Seed energies, Qin Yichen controlled this wisp of energy to circulate within his body while those wisps of Spirit Seed energy scattered throughout his meridians began to fuse together once more.

When these energies were painstakingly collected together by Qin Yichen, the Yuan Energy enveloping them suddenly exhibited a strange fluctuation, as if a subtle devouring force was emanating from within his Yuan Energy.

Perhaps because this devouring force was rather subtle, those Spirit Seed energies seemed unaware of it. Qin Yichen’s consciousness remained taut as he guided it to circulate through his meridians.

In this tense state, Qin Yichen controlled those energies to complete one circulation through his meridians according to the Spirit Body Technique’s pathways. After this one circulation, those Spirit Seed energies seemed to have diminished by a small margin.

With the completion of the first cycle, those violent Spirit Seed energies seemed to have calmed down somewhat, appearing far less destructive than before.

*Huff, huff…* Detecting the condition within his body, Qin Yichen quietly breathed a sigh of relief. Immediately, he hastily concentrated his consciousness again, controlling his Yuan Energy to envelop the Spirit Seed energy and slowly circulate along his meridians.

During this circulation, the Spirit Seed energy within his Yuan Energy envelope seemed to be absorbed by his Yuan Energy, becoming less and less. Meanwhile, the transparent Yuan Energy within his body not only showed no signs of excessive consumption but had actually grown stronger by several degrees.

This circulation continued for an unknown duration until finally, at a certain moment, Qin Yichen’s consciousness trembled as those Spirit Seed energies were completely absorbed.

The Yuan Energy that had filled his meridians now returned to his Dantian.

After casually taking a Pill to heal the injuries in his meridian, Qin Yichen’s consciousness gradually sank into his body.

His consciousness swiftly traversed several meridians before quickly arriving at the Dantian located in his lower abdomen. With his consciousness briefly scanning his Dantian, Qin Yichen could not help but take a deep breath as excitement surfaced in his heart.

Under his consciousness’s observation, the Martial Body Bead within his Dantian seemed to have undergone some unusual changes. The originally transparent Martial Body Bead was now filled with white mist, just like Spirit Seed energy.

The colour of one’s Martial Body Bead would change according to the Attribute of one’s own Yuan Energy.

Qin Yichen’s Yuan Energy was colourless, but its Attribute was quite special, possessing both the temperature of flames and the sharpness of swords.

Until now, Qin Yichen had never understood exactly what this Attribute was.

However, after he absorbed the Spirit Seed energy, this Attribute seemed to have undergone some changes that surprised him.

A person’s inherent Attribute cannot be changed.

This was common knowledge.

Even with assistance from something like Qin Yichen’s Taotie Martial Soul, that ultimately did not belong to him.

However, now it was quite evident that his own Attribute had undergone some unexpected changes.
