Alchemy Master

Chapter 507, Perfect Refinement

*Huff…* After resting for a moment, and adjusting his state to its peak, Qin Yichen finally expelled a long breath of turbid air, then slowly opened his eyes and took out that small Pill Furnace which looked somewhat shabby.

*Whoosh!* As his Spiritual Energy moved, flames instantly rose within the Pill Furnace, and the temperature of the room also suddenly increased at this moment.

Because there was only one Flaming Heart Fruit. So, when refining the Flaming Heart Pill, Qin Yichen had to succeed in one attempt!

The Flaming Heart Pill could already be considered close to a Sixth Grade Pill, even Qin Yichen dared not be the slightest bit arrogant, and to succeed, every step could not have the slightest error.

After the flames had burned for approximately three to four minutes, Qin Yichen waved his hand, and the Flaming Heart Fruit was thrown into the Pill Furnace.

As the Flaming Heart Fruit entered the Pill Furnace, the flames inside quickly devoured it, and in just the blink of an eye, the Flaming Heart Fruit rapidly withered.

Qin Yichen did not show the slightest panic at this change, as if he had anticipated it. His gaze fixed on the rising flames in the Pill Furnace, and his hands began to gently pat on the Pill Furnace.

As Qin Yichen’s hands moved, waves of subtle fluctuations penetrated into the Pill Furnace, and the flames within seemed to be controlled by an invisible hand, rising with a very comfortable rhythm.

At this moment, the flames in the Pill Furnace continued to rise, but the temperature had been suppressed by Qin Yichen to a degree that was just right for refining the Flaming Heart Fruit. Therefore, although it was wrapped in flames, the Flaming Heart Fruit was not burned to ashes.

Instead, under the roasting of these flames, it gradually withered, and at the same time, drops of fire-red liquid, like fine water droplets, continuously seeped from its surface, finally falling down along its surface, hovering above the flames, constantly trembling.

From those fire-red liquids, a kind of aura that made one’s Soul jolt spread out. That was the essence of the Flaming Heart Fruit!

As the liquid like water droplets were continuously roasted out from the surface, the Flaming Heart Fruit, which countless Alchemy Masters coveted, also slowly withered, finally completely turning into withered grey. At this point, the pure medicinal properties contained in this Flaming Heart Fruit had been completely heated out by the flames.

*Swoosh!* With a wave of Qin Yichen’s hand, the now useless remnant ash flew out of the Pill Furnace, falling onto the ground nearby, and scattered with the wind when a gentle breeze blew.

“Worthy of being the Flaming Heart Fruit. Just the Medicinal Liquid alone has the potency to surpass many Fifth Grade Pills!”

Looking at the liquid in the flames that was almost the size of an infant’s fist, Qin Yichen could not help but sigh. The energy contained in this liquid was astonishing!

If this Medicinal Liquid were seen by the Manor Master of the Ten Corner Alchemy Manor, he would probably be astonished too. It must be known that even if he tried his best, from one Flaming Heart Fruit, he could at most refine only about two-thirds of this liquid, and could not achieve such perfect refinement like Qin Yichen.

*Hum…* After the fire-red liquid condensed, suddenly, a strange fluctuation was faintly transmitted, and then, the liquid that was originally trembling above the flames was stirred. Soon, what seem to be threads of blood silently extended from within.

*Clang!*

These blood threads seemed to contain extremely powerful energy. Each time a blood thread hit the inner wall of the Pill Furnace, it would make a crisp sound and even cause the Pill Furnace to tremble.

If this were an ordinary Pill Furnace, it probably would not be able to withstand the impact of those few blood threads and would directly break open.

“What treasures…” Looking at the violent blood threads, Qin Yichen’s eyes narrowed slightly, and a smile curled at the corners of his mouth. For the Medicinal Liquid extracted from the Flaming Heart Fruit to have this kind of unusual movement meant that the effectiveness of the Flaming Heart Fruit’s was exceptional!

This was exactly what he wanted.

Qin Yichen waved his hand, and the flames in the Pill Furnace suddenly surged. Above the flames, there seemed to be a layer of invisible Spiritual Energy.

Those blood threads, under the flames, quickly retracted. After a moment, those dense blood threads were pressed back into the Medicinal Liquid again, and then wrapped in the surrounding flames, they no longer dared to wantonly break out.

This fire-red liquid was now wrapped in a bubble made of flames, hovering above another set of flames.

After that, Qin Yichen began to remove the impurities. Perhaps for ordinary materials, once refined by him, there would be no need to remove impurities.

But this Flaming Heart Fruit’s Medicinal Liquid was obviously not one of those.

Even with Qin Yichen’s full effort, it took about half an hour to completely remove all the impurities from this fire-red liquid.

After the impurities were removed, the liquid not only became more rounded, but its originally fire-red colour also became much more transparent.

After refining the main medicinal material, Qin Yichen’s expression finally relaxed a little. With a thought, that Medicinal Liquid continued to be wrapped in that flame bubble and quietly stayed in a corner of the Pill Furnace.

After refining the Flaming Heart Fruit, Qin Yichen did not rest, but directly began to refine the other materials for the Flaming Heart Pill.

Refining materials for something that was equivalent to a Sixth Grade Pill was indeed a tedious and tiring job, but fortunately, Qin Yichen’s Spiritual Energy was quite abundant, and his Spiritual Energy attainment was extremely high. Even so, it took him nearly an hour to refine all the other materials needed for the Flaming Heart Pill.

After refining everything, Qin Yichen took a short rest and took two Pills to recover his consumed Spiritual Energy, because the next step would be the most important step in Alchemy, Pill condensation!

In this step, if there was even a slight error, the medicinal materials that had been painstakingly refined would be burned in an instant. The other materials were fine, since they could be replaced but for the Flaming Heart Fruit, Qin Yichen had no way to get another one in a short time.

After recovering his Spiritual Energy, Qin Yichen controlled the Medicinal Liquid in the Pill Furnace to begin the condensation.

But this condensation speed, compared to Qin Yichen’s usual speed, was like a turtle crawling. It was unbearably slow.

With every fibre of his being tensed, although this step was extremely dangerous, fortunately, the worst situation did not occur. After more than an hour, a red Pill embryo finally slowly took shape in the Pill Furnace.

The moment this Pill embryo just formed, Qin Yichen clearly felt the surrounding World Energy fluctuate. It was like a calm lake surface suddenly had a huge rock thrown into it. Huge waves were uplifted, and ripples swept in all directions.
