Alchemy Master

Chapter 520, Shooting Star Spirit Crystals

Shooting Star Spirit Crystals!

According to legend, it was a fragment that fell from a meteor from beyond the sky. Regarding the Shooting Star Spirit Crystals, there were actually many uncertainties surrounding it.

Some people became extremely successful because of it, whilst others were reduced to poverty because of it.

The specific reason…

Firstly, it was due to the rarity of the Shooting Star Spirit Crystals.

Meteors from beyond the sky would sometimes fall once every year or two, scattering across the Imperial Dynasty, but sometimes, it was difficult to see even one in nearly a hundred years.

Therefore, the price of Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was always expensive.

The reason why Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was so expensive was because it might contain what drove everyone on the continent mad… A Spirit Seed!

Note, the word ‘might’.

Spirit Seed was of enormous benefit to both Alchemy Masters who cultivated Spiritual Energy and Martial Artists who practised Martial Arts. It could even change a person’s entire life.

Therefore, Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was expensive not because of the value of the Shooting Star Spirit Crystals itself, but because of the Spirit Seed it might contain.

If there was no Spirit Seed in it, then the Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was just a stone that fell from the sky, nothing more!

That was why some people were reduced to poverty because of Shooting Star Spirit Crystals.

In short, purchasing Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was a huge gamble.

“North Dipper Auction House?” After murmuring it a few times, a piece of information that had almost been forgotten in the depths of Qin Yichen’s memory surfaced in his mind.

He remembered that it seemed like a small Nobleman from another region had bought a Shooting Star Spirit Crystals from the North Dipper Auction House and had found a Spirit Seed inside, making a huge fortune.

It was said that at that time, that Shooting Star Spirit Crystals was merely an unwanted corner piece that almost failed to sell at the auction but was acquired by that small Nobleman at the lowest price.

Shooting Star Spirit Crystals also had different Grades.

Generally speaking, when a huge meteor from beyond the sky fell and crashed to the ground, it would definitely shatter into countless small pieces of Shooting Star Spirit Crystals.

The Shooting Star Spirit Crystals closer to the centre of the meteor would naturally have a better chance of containing a Spirit Seed.

For instance, the core part of a meteor would be referred to as High Grade Shooting Star Spirit Crystals. The corner pieces would be referring to the outermost parts of the meteor.

The probability of finding a Spirit Seed in a corner piece was almost non-existent, so corner pieces and those Higher Grade Shooting Star Spirit Crystals were absolutely incomparable, and so were their prices.

It was quite normal for corner pieces to go unsold.

“When will the auction be held?” Qin Yichen went up to a staff member of the North Dipper Auction House and enquired.

“The day after tomorrow in the afternoon!” After seeing the badge worn on the chest of the young man before him, the staff member enthusiastically invited, “I hope the Grandmaster will definitely come!”

After all, he was wearing a Fifth Grade Alchemy Master badge!

No one would dare neglect such a young Fifth Grade Alchemy Master.

Why? Because Alchemy Masters had always been synonymous with wealth.

“En.” Qin Yichen nodded, then led Gongshu Zhiyi and Lu Xiaoguan into the city. [Of course I will go, and I will definitely go! The day after tomorrow. Perfect! I’ll have time to prepare.]

Even if it was just a corner piece, the price was still not something he could afford at present.

Moreover, in the Imperial City, silver coins were not the currency in circulation; gold coins were the currency here. Furthermore, one gold coin was equivalent to a thousand silver coins.

Gold coins were the symbol of Nobility.

To avoid being disturbed by outsiders when concocting Pills, Qin Yichen rented a small courtyard in the inn.

And the cost here was thirty gold coins per day!

That meant thirty thousand silver coins.

This was merely the price of staying for one day!

It should be noted that in the Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty, thirty thousand silver coins was already a huge fortune.

This was the difference between an Imperial Dynasty and a minor kingdom, and it could be said to be as different as Heaven and Earth.

However, at the same time, Pills that were originally worth only one or two thousand silver coins here could normally sell for around ten gold coins.

Take the Clear Mind Pill for example, in the Heavenly Unicorn Dynasty or the Grand Empire, even if it was a Fourth Grade Clear Mind Pill, it would be considered quite good if the price could reach tens of thousands of silver coins.

But if a Fourth Grade Clear Mind Pill was placed in the Heavenly Dragon Imperial City, firstly, it would definitely cause a huge sensation, and secondly, the price!

Just for the fact that Clear Mind Pill could heal Spiritual Injuries, it would be very easy for a Fourth Grade Clear Mind Pill to sell for hundreds of gold coins.

In other words, with the same materials and the same Pill, the price in the Imperial City would be more than ten times higher!

Of course, this was primarily due to the rarity of the Clear Mind Pill.

Once the Pill Formula for Clear Mind Pill was made public, perhaps the price would decrease somewhat, but it would absolutely not be lower than a hundred gold coins.

“What Pill should I make…” Qin Yichen fell into contemplation.

He did not have many High Grade materials with him at the moment, so creating a ton of High Grade Pills was somewhat unrealistic.

But now, if he wanted to bid for a Shooting Star Spirit Crystals, it would be impossible without more than ten thousand gold coins.

Even for a corner piece, the price would be in the thousands.

These were Shooting Star Spirit Crystals. It was absolutely not something ordinary people could get in touch with.

It would be incredibly difficult for Qin Yichen to raise more than ten thousand gold coins in one day.

Because there was no shortage of Pills in the Imperial City.

Therefore, the Pills he concocted must be attractive enough.

“Let’s go with the safest bet, the Clear Mind Pill.” After pondering for a while, Qin Yichen made his decision.

Clear Mind Pill was absolutely a necessity for Alchemy Masters, especially on the eve of the Alchemy Manor Summit. Which Alchemy Master would not want to have a few Clear Mind Pills at hand?

Thinking led to action.

Fortunately, Qin Yichen knew he would be travelling far, so his Space Ring contained an amount of Withered Frost Grass almost equivalent to a small mountain in area. In short, he did not have to worry about not having enough key material for the Compound Pill.

As for other auxiliary materials, there was no shortage of that in the Imperial City.

Subsequently, Qin Yichen went out alone to purchase the medicinal herbs needed for the Clear Mind Pill.

He was already quite familiar with the Heavenly Dragon Imperial City, so he went directly to a large medicine shop called World Aplenty Hall.

In his previous life, he had also frequently purchased necessary medicinal herbs from this medicine shop.

Moreover, he was also clear about who the power behind World Aplenty Hall was.

The Feng Family!

“Welcome.” The female attendant at the entrance saw Qin Yichen wearing a Fifth Grade Alchemy Master badge and approached with a smile.

Alchemy Masters were truly popular everywhere they went.

“May I ask if you are here to sell Pills or to purchase ingredients?” The female attendant asked courteously, obviously having received good training.

“I want to buy some ingredients and also sell some Pills.” Qin Yichen smiled slightly.

He believed that selling Clear Mind Pill at the World Aplenty Hall would definitely not be a loss.

Of course, the main thing was that he wanted to attract the attention of the Feng Family behind the World Aplenty Hall.

“Then what Pills do you want to sell?”

“Clear Mind Pills.” Qin Yichen’s answer made the female attendant, who was about to respond, suddenly pause, then slightly raise her head, obviously somewhat puzzled and confused.

Evidently, she had not heard of this Pill before.
