Chapter 48, Would I Look at Such Trash?

“It’s my fault for being incompetent. I’ll kill him right now!” Cui Hongtai, having been slapped twice, directed all his anger towards Lu Fan.

Lu Fan, fearless, slowly walked out of the shop. He did not want the other party to rush into the Bun Shop to engage with him. After all, this Bun Shop was where he and his Aunt had lived for so many years. If it got damaged due to the fighting, his Aunt would surely be upset.

At this moment, Jin Zhu had already taken out her staff. This staff of hers was no ordinary item. It was made from a piece of black ebony wood. At the top of the staff was a bone from what seemed to be a Human hand. It was emitting wisps of black energy. Compared to Qin Qiu’s Holy Light Seal, its aura was evil, menacing even. They were completely opposite extremes.

This staff’s Grade was not low, at least Silver.

After equipping this staff, Jin Zhu’s Attributes increased significantly. At the same time, her dress fluttered without wind as black energy surrounded her. It made her angry small face even more sinister and terrifying.

Jin Zhu waved her staff, chanting spells. The black energy around her emitted a piercing sound like screaming and flew into Cui Hongtai’s body.

Cui Hongtai did not resist. As Jin Zhu cast Buffs on him, Cui Hongtai’s body expanded and began to change.

Lu Fan narrowed his eyes, observing everything happening before him, and made a rough assessment of Jin Zhu’s Profession. [Seems like Jin Zhu also has a Hidden Profession. It might be a Mage or Priest Type Hidden Profession. The characteristic of her Profession is to give Buffs to her teammates. But, the effects of these Buffs are not that impressive.]

In just a moment, Cui Hongtai had completely transformed into a Half Human, Half Horse Monster.

Cui Hongtai looked like a Centaur, with purplish-blue veins covering his skin and face. His eyeballs had turned cloudy white, and fangs protruded from his mouth, constantly dripping saliva.

His entire being looked like a Humanoid Monster. It was frightening.

It was obvious that Cui Hongtai’s Attributes must have significantly increased. Perhaps under Jin Zhu’s Buff, he might have some other Attacks that were harder to defend against.

At this time, Qin Qiu had finished her phone call and came down from upstairs, only to see this scene.

“What’s going on here!?” Qin Qiu frowned deeply, wanting to step forward.

But Lu Fan waved his hand, telling Qin Qiu to not come closer. “Don’t come over. Help me take care of Auntie, don’t let her get hurt.”

“But…” Qin Qiu obediently came to Han Ke’s side, anxiously asking. “Lu Fan, how did things become so tense in such a short time?”

Lu Fan chuckled and said, “They’ve come to force my hand. Should I just keep tolerating it? Let me ask you, this is Dragon Country right? Is this a place for people from Extremistis Country can do as they like without facing any consequences?”

Before Qin Qiu could be persuaded further, Cui Hongtai had already taken out a Bronze spear in his hand. His voice was like that of a ghost from the underworld, hoarse and ethereal.

“Our Jin Family took the initiative to find you, to give you a future. Since you don’t cherish it, you deserve to be taught a lesson! This Earth Dragon is no longer meant for you!” After speaking, Cui Hongtai’s four legs suddenly exerted force, leaping high, while the spear in his hand thrust towards Lu Fan’s thigh.

It was clear Cui Hongtai’s Strength had increased significantly after being Buffed by Jin Zhu.

Moreover, Cui Hongtai was originally a Level 30 Second Profession Change Guardian Knight. Now, Lu Fan might need to use Dragon Claw and give himself the Dragon Encouragement Buff to match him.

However, Lu Fan did not plan to go through such troubles. [These bastards are so arrogant! They should have their ridiculous pride shattered at lightning speed!]

“Earth Dragon? You think I would covet such garbage?” Lu Fan smiled and slowly walked forward, as if he could not see Cui Hongtai attacking him.

At this moment, a black lightning suddenly shot out from Lu Fan’s clothes, meeting Cui Hongtai head-on. It was Xiao Ye.

Xiao Ye was still in her Infant Form. After flying out from Lu Fan’s body, a scorching flame instantly enveloped her, forming a fireball. This fireball suddenly expanded, turning into a diameter of ten meters in the blink of an eye.

“Ang!” A Dragon Roar shook the nearby houses and the ground, making everything tremble.

Before Cui Hongtai could react to what was happening, a huge Dragon Claw reached out from the fireball, and grabbed him.

As the flames of the fireball dissipated, Xiao Ye, in her Battle Form, was revealed to Jin Zhu and Cui Hongtai.

Her jet-Black Dragon Scales, body full of violent beauty, a Dragon that could only be seen in legends, directly made Jin Zhu’s eyes widen. She was petrified.

She had never seen a Dragon before, but at first glance of Xiao Ye, only one word flashed through her mind, ‘Dragon!’
