Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 3, Profession Change Anomaly, Hidden Profession

Next, the students went, one by one, to the Profession Change Stone to change their Professions.

However, the rest of the students were not as lucky as Zhang Tao. Students who could change to Combat Specialised Professions were still the minority. Most could only obtain Lifestyle Specialised Professions and were destined to become ordinary people in the future.

By calculation, in a class, there were probably only twenty students who could obtain Combat Specialised Professions, over thirty would end up with Lifestyle Specialised Professions, and the remaining less than ten would get Enhancement Specialised Professions.

Although Enhancement Specialised Professions were few, they needed a large amount of material supplied to them in order to grow. In short, this was not a category of Profession that was highly sought after.

Those students from poor Families who ended up with Enhancement Specialised Professions broke down crying. Getting an Enhancement Specialised Profession, but not having money to develop its Skills was worse than getting a Lifestyle Specialised Profession. At least for the former, they could obtain a Skill.

In short, this Profession Change Ceremony had some people happy and some people worried.

After a long time, it was finally the turn for Lu Fan’s class to go up and change his Profession.

The first ten students who went up, without exception, all ended up with Lifestyle Specialised Professions and Enhancement Specialised Professions, which made the class teacher Li Qun feel embarrassed.

Although Profession Changing had a certain randomness to it, if a class did not even have twenty students with Combat Specialised Professions, it indirectly showed how useless he was as the class teacher.

It had to be said that in Lu Fan’s class, with ten people already going up but not a single one obtaining a Combat Specialised Profession, felt ominous.

The eleventh person to go up and change Professions was Lu Fan.

He was a top student of the class, and Li Qun also had high hopes for him.

Li Qun patted Lu Fan’s shoulder and encouraged, “Lu Fan, you’ve worked hard. You will definitely change to a Combat Specialised Profession! Go and show them the pride of our class!”

“Don’t worry, teacher, I will.” Lu Fan smiled at Li Qun, then walked to the Profession Change Stone.

Lu Fan closed his eyes, ready to accept the Profession Change.

The middle-aged Priest started chanting, and soon, light from the Profession Change Stone engulfed Lu Fan.

The next second, a suddenly loud Dragon Roar resounded throughout the entire school field, instantly silencing the somewhat chaotic school.

“Roar–” The Dragon Roar thundered, shaking the entire ground.

Everyone looked at Lu Fan wrapped in light, shocked and pale.

This kind of anomaly had never happened to anyone changing Professions before. Could it be that he was going to change to a Hidden Profession!?

Just as everyone was speculating, a beam of light suddenly burst out from within the light, piercing straight into the sky, blasting away all clouds.

*Rumble–* The howling wind was deafening. Everyone looked at that beam of light and found that as the light soared, it constantly expanded and extended.

In the end, the light transformed into a hundred metre Giant Dragon, soaring and circling in the sky.

“Woah! It’s actually a Giant Dragon! How could a Giant Dragon appear when this student had only changed his Profession!?”

“Idiot! This is an anomaly! Anomalies only appear during the Profession Change Ceremony when a Hidden Profession appears! This student’s luck is too good, actually changing to a Hidden Profession!”

“Giant Dragons are all divine existences. Top Human experts have only seen them in Forbidden Areas, which we can never set foot in. Every Giant Dragon is not something Humans can provoke. This student’s Hidden Profession is actually related to Giant Dragons, isn’t this too heaven-defying?”

“I heard that ten years ago, when a person changed Professions, there was also a similar anomaly. In the end, that person changed to a Dragon Blood Warrior, with Dragon Blood in his body. He is incomparably powerful. Now, he has already become a top expert of our Dragon Country. Could it be that today, someone had managed to become a Dragon Blood Warrior?”

“Who knows? But since it’s a Hidden Profession, that person’s future prospect is definitely something only we can look up to…”

All the students and teachers were shocked and extremely envious.

At this time, after circling in the sky, the Giant Dragon let out another roar, then dove down, crashing towards where Lu Fan was.

With a loud boom, strong gusts sweeped out, causing many to retreat.

With this, the light of the Profession Change dispersed, and Lu Fan’s Profession Change Ceremony was completed.

After the light dissipated, Lu Fan’s figure reappeared in front of everyone.

Following that, everyone heard a loud bang. In the distance, in a school office building, a figure shot over like a cannonball, landing with a thud beside Lu Fan.

It was an old man with grizzled hair but a sturdy physique. Everyone at Third Academy recognized him. This person was none other than the Principal of Third Academy, Bai Hengjian.

He was a level 38 Warrior who had already had his Second Profession Change and had become a War God. His strength was definitely considered to stand amongst the apex in Jianghai City.

“Kid, what’s your Profession? Is it Dragon Blood Warrior or Dragon Language Mage!?” Bai Hengjian grabbed Lu Fan’s arm as soon as he arrived, extremely excited.
