World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

[Skill Hardening has met the evolution requirements. Do you wish to evolve your Unranked Level 5 skill to the next rank?]

Evan was stunned when he saw the notification, as he did not expect that one of his skills would meet the evolution requirements this early.

”But what are the requirements to evolve this skill?” He couldn’t help but become curious about the evolution requirements, and suddenly, more text appeared before his eyes.

====

---) Hardening (Unranked Passive Skill, Level 5): This skill is at its maximum level and can evolve to the next Rank if the following requirements are met:

Natural Health stat above 100 points without the support of any treasure or any other external means: 115/100 — Requirement fulfilled.

Kill one magical beast whose level is at least 5 levels above you — Requirement fulfilled.

[Do you wish to evolve the skill to the next rank?]

[Yes/No]

Evan looked at the requirements for the evolution and couldn’t help but think that both requirements had been fulfilled this early only because he had chosen to fight high-ranking magical beasts and ignore the low-level magical beasts.

If he hadn’t fought against the high-ranking magical beasts, his Health stat wouldn’t have gone above 100 points this early.

After thinking about this, he once again became sure that he had chosen the right path.

Looking at the notifications before him, Evan chose yes without hesitation, and his skill began to evolve.

The golden light covering the skill name on his Status Window began to shine, and suddenly, the name of the skill broke into golden fragments.

Then, the golden fragments began to arrange themselves into a new order. After some time, a new skill appeared on Evan’s Status Window.

Just as the new name appeared on Evan’s Status Window, more text started to appear right next to the skill name, and Evan felt a surge of strength filling his body.

====

(Hardening, Unranked Passive Skill, Level 5 evolved into → Steel Body, Rank One Passive Skill, Level 1.)

---) Steel Body: Increases the defense of your body greatly and makes your bones stronger and harder. Increases Health and Strength by +50.

After the skill evolved, Evan felt his body becoming stronger. He felt like his bones were being reinforced by an unknown energy and couldn’t help but let out a satisfied sigh.

Just by evolving one skill, not only did his defense increase, but he also became stronger.

Currently, Evan felt like he could crush a rock with just a single punch. Getting +50 Strength and Health without doing anything was a truly amazing feeling.

Because of the skill evolution, his Health increased by 30 points since the Hardening skill had already been giving him a boost of 20 Health points.

However, since there had been no Strength boost when the skill was Unranked, his Strength increased by a whole 50 points.

Just by evolving the skill, his Health stat reached the 135-point mark, and his Strength stat reached the 175-point mark.

Now, his Strength stat was even higher than his Mana and Magic.

Just a few days ago, his stats, except for his Mana and Magic, were normal, but looking at his current stats, he couldn’t help but praise himself for his hard work.

After evolving the skill and looking at its details, Evan finally lay down to take some rest, and this time, he didn’t feel anything strange.

As the sun began to rise the next day, Evan woke up on the tree branch and looked at the rising sun while the cool breeze of the morning flowed all around him.

He quietly sat high above the tree and watched the sunrise.

After watching the sunrise, he came out of the Dark Forest to cook some meat for himself.

He didn’t make a camp or anything.

He just sat under a tree and started a fire. Once the fire was lit, he took out some meat of the Alpha Wolf and started to cook it.

While the meat was being cooked, he thought about what he should do today.

Previously, he thought that he would find some Level 25 magical beasts and try to increase his power a little more, but after his skill evolution, his power had increased greatly.

Although he didn’t know how powerful a Rank One magical beast was since he had never fought against one, he was sure that with his current stats, even if he couldn’t win against a Rank One magical beast, he could still run away from it safely.

If other people heard his thoughts, they would laugh at him because fighting against a Rank One beast while being Unranked was very difficult.

Even if a person reached Level 25, at the peak of the Unranked realm, it was very difficult to fight against a Rank One magical beast, and Evan was still Level 20, not even at the peak of the Unranked realm.

But then again, Evan was not a normal Evolver.

Because of the advantage of having abnormally high Mana and Magic at the beginning, he had fought against higher-ranked magical beasts every day to increase his power, making him stronger than any Unranked magical beast could match.

He had killed the Alpha Shadow Wolf last night pretty easily after the fight became one-on-one, and he had become even stronger after killing the other Shadow Wolves.

After thinking about everything, Evan decided to find a Rank One monster and test his strength against it. If he felt like he could win, he would fight against it with everything he had.

After all, he wanted to reach Level 25 as soon as possible and then become a Rank One Evolver, finally gaining his Class.

But even though he wanted to become a Rank One Evolver as soon as possible, he wasn’t planning to do anything reckless.

If he felt like he couldn’t win or would get seriously injured while fighting against a Rank One magical beast, he would simply run away and fight against it again after becoming stronger in the future.

When Evan finished thinking, the meat of the Shadow Wolf was already cooked. He ate his breakfast and was glad to find out that the meat of the Alpha Wolf was even tastier than the meat of the Forest Tiger.

After eating breakfast, he stood up and started to head inside the Dark Forest once again.

However, before entering the Dark Forest, he came in front of a thick tree that needed at least three people to embrace it fully.

He stood in front of the tree and punched it with all his power.

A green glow appeared around his hand, improving the power of his punch.

The punch hit the tree, and with a loud sound, the tree snapped in half.

BOOOOOOM!

Evan watched the fallen tree with a satisfied expression on his face and entered the Dark Forest with confident steps.
