World Evolution: Starting With The Wind Monarch

When Evan came to the Alpha Wolf’s corpse, he found a Treasure Orb nearby, and his eyes instantly lit up.

He put it inside his Storage Ring and then searched the bodies of all five wolves for Mana Cores.

After checking all five wolves, he found two Mana Cores, making him smile.

He also took out the Forest Tiger’s body from his Storage Ring and threw it away before storing the Alpha Wolf’s body inside instead, since its level was higher.

After he was done with everything, Evan quickly left the area because other magical beasts would soon come here after smelling the blood.

Evan came near the exit of the Dark Forest and climbed onto a tree just like every time. After sitting comfortably, he took out a bottle of water and drank the entire bottle.

After drinking the water, he opened his Status Window to see his gains.

Evan wasn’t surprised to see that the stat points he gained from killing the wolves were low compared to what he had gained from killing other magical beasts, such as the Giant Bull and the others.

His existence had already reached a very high level, and Evan was sure that with his current level of existence, he wouldn’t receive any more stat points from killing Unranked magical beasts from now on.

He had only reached Level 20, but he was sure that with the stat points he had received from killing the Shadow Wolves, he could now fight against a Rank One magical beast.

Evan looked at his Status Window and was satisfied with the gains he had received after fighting five magical beasts at the same time.

If anyone else saw his Status Window, they would be shocked because no matter how they looked at it, this didn’t look like the Status Window of someone who had only recently reached Level 20.

Generally speaking, normal Level 20 Evolvers had one or two stats above fifty, while the rest would be between 30 and 50.

Some talented ones might have more than two stats above fifty or even sixty, but stats like Evan’s were completely abnormal.

Because he always killed monsters that were much higher level than him, the amount of stats he had accumulated was far too absurd.

Other than his Stamina, all of his stats were already over one hundred, while his Mana and Magic had even exceeded one hundred and fifty.

In fact, because he had always lived with his grandparents and hadn’t come into contact with many people, Evan himself didn’t realize just how abnormal his Status Window was.

Although he knew he was stronger than normal Evolvers, he still didn’t realize the extent of his abnormality.

After checking his Status Window, Evan took out the Treasure Orb he had obtained from the Alpha Wolf.

When Evan first saw the Treasure Orb, he was surprised to discover that it wasn’t a Common-grade Treasure Orb. Instead, it was an Uncommon-grade Treasure Orb.

”Let’s see what I can get this time,” He muttered and crushed the Treasure Orb.

A light flashed in his hand, and a robe appeared.

The robe was completely black and had the design of a wolf on its back.

Evan raised an eyebrow when he saw this and quickly looked at its details.

---) Wolf Robe: A highly durable robe made from the leather of an Alpha Wolf. It provides great defense to its wearer and increases Health and Mana by +10.

After looking at the details of the robe, Evan quickly took off his damaged leather jacket and wore the Wolf Robe.

Along with providing better defense, the robe also gave him 10 points of Health and Mana, so he was quite satisfied with it.

Although he had been hoping to obtain a Treasure with an attached skill, just like the Bloom Earring that had helped him during his fight against the Shadow Wolves, he was still satisfied with the Wolf Robe.

With Venesa and Alfred’s power, it was actually very easy for Evan to get better armor or even other Treasures.

But the reason he didn’t bring anything was because it wasn’t a good idea to use Treasures or any other external help during his first hunt.

After turning fifteen and awakening their Status Window, a person could get their first Active Skill by killing a monster or any other creature.

The more powerful the creature they killed, the better the skill they would get.

But if they used something external to hunt down the creature, like wearing powerful armor that made it impossible for the creature to injure them or having a Treasure that could easily kill the creature, the level of skill they received wouldn’t be very high.

Moreover, before gaining their first Active Skill by killing a creature, it was impossible for people to learn any other Active Skills.

Only by getting their first Active Skill on their own could they use Skill Scrolls to learn other Active Skills.

Otherwise, Evan could have simply asked his grandparents for a powerful Active Skill, and they would have given him one.

But the reason he didn’t ask was because even if they had given him a powerful Active Skill, he wouldn’t have been able to learn it.

After wearing the Wolf Robe, Evan thought about what he should do next.

It was still midnight, and there was plenty of time remaining before sunrise.

He initially thought about going hunting once again, but after considering it for a while, he dismissed the idea and decided to sleep instead.

Although the fight against the wolves hadn’t made him physically tired since it had ended very quickly, he was still mentally exhausted.

As Evan lay down on a tree branch to rest, he suddenly got a strange feeling.

He didn’t understand where this feeling was coming from, but it made him slightly restless.

He immediately sat up from his lying position, but the strange feeling still didn’t disappear.

Alarmed, he used Wind Detection to its limit to search for any magical beast nearby that could threaten his life.

But, to his surprise, Evan found nothing.

However, he suddenly thought of something and opened his Status Window once again.

As he opened his Status Window, Evan noticed that one of his skills was shining with a golden light.

He focused his attention on the skill’s name, and a line of text appeared before his eyes.
