Chapter 1593: Chapter 550: An Irresistible Strike! (Part 2)

Moria smiled and explained.

”Oh? That’s a good thing.” Rein’s eyes lit up.

He hadn’t expected that a wizard school would respond to the Mechanical Association so quickly.

”Now, we have further perfected the system. Whether actively participating in the creation of demon statues or completing designated tasks with them, there is a complete evaluation system, and it’s currently running well,” introduced Sect Leader Moria.

Rein nodded frequently as he listened.

It seems that entrusting the specific matters of the Mechanical Association to Moria was the right decision.

”By the way, I received a message saying you’ve discovered the secret base of the Tutkash School?”

”Yes, Crown Rein, three days ago, our three wizard squads lost contact in the Turthers Valley area, and we’ve now roughly surrounded and alerted the area,” Moria replied.

”Turthers Valley?” Rein recalled the map and remembered that it was a desolate valley located on the west side of the Shirendil Plateau, rarely visited by people.

It turned out that the Tutkash School had set their base there, no wonder no one had been able to locate their school’s base.

”Yes, when do you plan to take a look?”

”Right now.”

”Now?” Moria and the others were a bit stunned.

”This... Crown Rein, isn’t it a bit too hasty? Shouldn’t we plan more thoroughly regarding the siege of the Tutkash School?” Moria thought for a moment, choosing his words carefully.

”There’s nothing much to prepare, let’s just go now.” Rein waved lightly, smiling.

”Alright then, Crown Rein, shall we bring the ’Destroyer’ along? Please wait for us to arrange for the airship...” Moria and a few others exchanged glances, then looked at the massive Black Dragon Metheus, which resembled a small mountain, and nodded.

”No need, we’ll go directly, and ’Destroyer’ will stay here for defense.”

”Hmm?”

....

Soon, with ’Mad Wings’ Metheus in the lead and several griffins following, Rein and his party arrived at the Turthers Valley located on the west side of the Shirendil Plateau.

The appearance of the massive Black Dragon Metheus also caused quite a commotion among the stationed wizards, but when they realized it was the newly appointed Imperial Guardian Rein, they immediately cheered.

Many of the wizards present had lost companions in clashes with the Tutkash School.

Rein’s arrival, along with the great pressure brought by the black dragon, significantly boosted their confidence for the upcoming battle!

”Crown Rein, the enemy’s base is located below the valley. The passageways inside are complex and riddled with various witch arrays and traps. Almost all of the reconnaissance teams we sent before have fallen there,” a Crystallization Wizard in charge of alerting the area respectfully explained.

Rein surveyed the surroundings; Turthers Valley matched the records — barren, desolate, with almost no vegetation, and the visible creatures were just a few desert scorpions and wild rabbits.

”Crown Rein, I suggest that wizards from our Isodre School, united in casting the earth witchcraft ’Earth-shattering’, conduct a powerful quake that should force them out?”

At this moment, seeing Rein not making an immediate decision, an elderly man with a mustache from the Isodre School stepped forward and suggested.

Previously, he hadn’t proposed this method because without high-end combat power present to withstand Graham of the Tutkash School, even if they forced the opponent out, they would suffer losses.

But now the situation was different.

With Crown Rein and his powerful black dragon here, just as the enemy showed up, they could definitely deliver a heavy blow.

”No need to make it so complicated,” Rein smiled, shaking his head.

”Step back a little.”

”Metheus, you handle the alert.”

With that said, Rein stepped forward and stopped at an entrance to the Tutkash School.

And Moria, Bradley, Mogaro, along with a group of High Rank Wizards from the Isodre School, all looked forward with confusion at Rein.

They naturally had questions, but facing Rein, who was now an Imperial Guardian, some questions were not convenient to ask, so they could only wait and see what Crown Rein intended to do.

Suddenly, Rein’s right hand shone brightly with a dense dark silver metallic light, the brilliance so intense it almost completely covered his hand.

Then, Rein bent down and gently slapped this hand on the ground.

”Snap!”

Instantly!

Rings of dense dark silver metallic ripples spread out in all directions.

Wherever it passed, the ground was immediately covered with a thick layer of dark silver metal. But that wasn’t all, the metal quickly transformed and extended sharp spikes or thorns, covering an area of at least several thousand square meters.

”Hiss~ The power of Crown Rein’s witchcraft is astonishing! Remember Stuttgart is also a Dawn Wizard... but not comparable!” exclaimed the mustached elder from the Isodre School.

”Indeed, the coverage area is too vast, even if all earth wizards present joined forces, the range would be about the same,” another elderly wizard with gray hair was also deeply shocked.

”No wonder Crown Rein didn’t need us to take action.”

....

Unlike the exclamations and whispers of others, the nearby Black Dragon ’Mad Wings’ Metheus gazed solemnly, with a hint of shock, at the center of the energy fluctuations.

As an Extreme Old Dragon, it could feel the uniqueness of its master Rein’s witchcraft.
