Chapter 1592: Chapter 550: An Unstoppable Blow!

As Metheus’s flying speed increased, the scenery below changed rapidly.

From the vast golden wheat fields outside the Imperial City Tamriel, it turned into rolling, forested hills, and then a large expanse of lush forests...

Rein could clearly see the powerful compression of air on Metheus’s wings, forming visible white streams.

”This speed is close to the speed of sound,” Rein watched this scene and couldn’t help but smile.

”At least three times faster than the original high-speed airship.”

In fact, this wasn’t even Metheus’s top speed.

If it burst for a short time, its speed could double again, breaking the sound barrier.

But doing so would consume a lot of physical strength.

Generally speaking, the current speed is its normal flying speed.

It’s like a fighter jet, with a normal cruising speed and a top speed.

...

Over an hour later.

Shirendil Plateau, within the Isodre School station.

”My lords, a huge black dragon is flying in from the distant sky, please go take a look.” A young wizard hurriedly ran over, saying.

”Hmm? Are you sure it’s a black dragon?”

”Uh... it’s pitch black, it should undoubtedly be a black dragon.” The young wizard nodded emphatically, saying.

”Black dragon? Few Imperial Dragon Knights ride black dragons. Could it be Crown Hector coming? But he usually stays in the Empire’s Sava Province, why would he come to the Shirendil Plateau?”

Moria, being the Sect Leader of the Bixiu Mechanization School, naturally knew a lot about the Imperial Guardians, but after thinking about it, although a few eligible dragon knights came to mind, he still shook his head slightly, quite puzzled.

”Everyone, let’s go greet them together.”

After some thought, Moria turned to the High Rank Wizard of the Isodre School beside him.

...

”Hiss~ This black dragon is huge!”

”Yeah, it’s too big!”

When Moria and his group arrived at the newly renovated Isodre School square, many wizards were already pointing at the gigantic black dragon flying in from the horizon.

”Hmm? An old dragon? No, it’s an extremely old dragon!” Moria exclaimed.

As a High Rank Wizard about to step into the Dawn Wizard level, he naturally noticed that the huge black dragon flying in was extraordinarily large.

This isn’t just an ordinary dragon; it’s a gigantic black dragon of the extremely old dragon level!

”A black dragon of the extremely old dragon level?”

”But does the Empire have such a dragon knight?” The two elderly wizards of the Isodre School couldn’t help but exchange glances, seeing the confusion in each other’s eyes.

”Oh no! It might be an ancient dragon that just awakened, everyone, prepare for battle!” A flash of insight hit Moria, and he shouted.

Thousands of years ago, before the Dragan Empire was established, many dragons were not friendly to humans.

”Go! Activate the Destroyer, prepare for battle.”

Hearing Moria’s words, the wizards on site scrambled in a flurry.

”It’s me!”

At this moment, a familiar voice to Moria came from the increasingly closer sky-black dragon.

Although the distance was still quite far, the young male voice was abnormally clear, ringing in the ears of every wizard present.

In an instant, the wizards who were running stopped one after another.

Perhaps they weren’t familiar with the voice, but they could all hear that the owner of the voice seemed to have no hostility.

”Rein! It’s Rein!”

A bolt of lightning flashed through Mentor Mogaro’s mind, and he exclaimed.

Indeed, as the gigantic black dragon landed, a familiar figure to the Bixiu Mechanization School wizards dismounted from the black dragon’s majestic and shiny dark back.

”Lord Rein!”

”It’s Lord Rein!”

”So this is Lord Rein’s dragon!”

The wizards familiar with Rein immediately felt relieved, exclaiming in surprise.

And the wizards of other schools, upon seeing the much-rumored rising star of the Empire and the youngest Imperial Guardian in history, naturally showed respect and greeted him.

In the distance, many people whispered, or inquired with the Bixiu Mechanization School wizards to the side:

”Is this Lord Rein? So young, indeed.”

”Hey, did you notice, Lord Rein’s black dragon seems especially large! I once saw other Imperial Dragon Knights, and their dragons seemed only half the size of Lord Rein’s black dragon.”

”The Bixiu Mechanization School is really lucky to have produced such an outstanding individual like Lord Rein; if only he were from our school.”

A Liquidized Wizard from the medium-sized wizard school ’Rocky Mechanized Workshop’ sighed.

”Sect Leader, Mentor.”

”Huh? Why are there so many newcomers?” Rein looked around slightly and realized there were nearly twice as many wizards present as when he left.

You must know that people with wizard qualifications aren’t easy to find, and there were quite a few holding parts of some mechanical devices, wizards skilled in puppet-making, which are even harder to come across.

Obviously, they couldn’t have been recruited locally from the Shirendil Plateau.

”Haha, Rein, did you forget about setting up the Mechanical Association?”

”The new faces you see are partly new wizards and wizard apprentices, and partly wizards sent from other schools to observe. Many wizard schools focused on the making of demon statues are very interested in our Mechanical Association.”
