Chapter 1551: Chapter 534: Duel Invitation (Part 2)

After Audrey left, Moria digested the news for a while and then looked at the two with a puzzled expression: ”That... Bradley, Mogaro, has our school ever established a... Mechanical Association?”

”This... probably not, I think?” Bradley thought for a moment and replied uncertainly.

”Definitely not.” Mogaro shook his head with certainty.

”It seems that Lord Rein has done something incredible once again. From what I know, the person Stuttgart from the Isodre School is not easy to deal with, I wonder how Lord Rein managed to persuade him.” Moria mused with a shake of his head, marveling.

”As for... the Empire Mechanized Association?” Moria showed a look of longing.

An association prefixed with ’Empire’... Since becoming the Sect Leader of the Bixiu Mechanization School, he never even dared to dream of establishing such an association...

”Sect Leader, since Rein invited us, why don’t we go to the Shirendil Plateau and find out everything? Why guess aimlessly here?” Mogaro couldn’t help but suggest.

”Yes! Come on! Let’s all go!” Moria promptly agreed.

”By the way, Mogaro, arrange for someone to install the freshly repaired ’Destroyer’ onto the airship.”

With swift action, the three promptly moved, and by that evening, the Bixiu Mechanization School launched an airship bound for Nirheim on the Shirendil Plateau.

...

Shirendil Plateau.

Inside the airship cabin above the Isodre School Station.

Due to the severe damage to the school, the meeting could only be held onboard the airship.

After several Isodre School Wizards recounted events, Elder Ivan and Marshal Alfred understood the situation basically.

”Elder Ivan, sorry to trouble you to come all this way.” Rein spoke with a hint of apology.

”Lord Rein, if my coming means witnessing a cult conspiracy being thwarted, I’m willing to run all around the Empire.” Elder Ivan joked with a playful tone.

His words caused everyone present to burst into laughter.

”By the way, Lord Rein, is there anything you need us to do before we head back?”

”I plan to establish a Mechanical Association, open to anyone interested in the field of constructing mechanical creatures. My initial plan is to use mechanical creatures to deal with the exotic spider swarm that is now rampant across the Shirendil Plateau.”

”Oh? That’s quite an excellent idea.” Elder Ivan’s narrow eyes suddenly gleamed with sharpness.

Faced with the spider swarm deeply entrenched underground, with interconnected pits and a vast distribution, even he had no good solutions. While a Giant Dragon possesses formidable combat strength, it feels somewhat powerless against such foes.

Rein’s approach seemed highly feasible.

”Moreover, Sir Marshal, I hope to formally establish a Sword Bearers Branch on the Shirendil Plateau. I believe the farther the Empire’s borders, the more we need to strengthen control.”

”Of course, I am aware of the current shortage of personnel, but we can start setting up the framework. I have a few former teammates from the Mingster Province whose abilities are quite decent...”

...

Rein’s two suggestions were adopted during the meeting by Elder Ivan and Marshal Alfred.

The next day at noon, the Elder Council airship set off once more, returning to the Empire to further discuss and deliberate on the threat posed by the Evil God Nael Breccan.

Soon after.

When Moria and others, who traveled overnight, arrived at the Isodre School Station, they were first shocked by the scene as if meteorites had bombarded the place, and then they were politely escorted to the underground Mechanical Assembly Hall.

Seeing the courteous Isodre School Wizards, both Moria and Bradley couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride and exhilaration.

At this moment, Rein, along with two elder Isodre School Wizards, were already waiting for them there.

”Mentor, Sect Leader,” Rein smiled and slightly nodded in greeting.

Naturally, Rein wouldn’t spend too much energy on the Mechanical Association, so he messaged the school to summon Moria.

As the Sect Leader of the Bixiu Mechanization School and a Mechanical Master, he possessed enough management experience and capability to handle this matter well.

After some platitudes, Rein said, ”Since everyone has arrived, let me briefly explain the situation...”

”I possess knowledge from the Ancient Goblin Empire, where they have progressed further in mechanical creations than us. I believe we can greatly benefit from their achievements...”

While explaining, Rein also shared a bit about introductory knowledge in Goblin Engineering.

Meanwhile, he immediately demonstrated. Under the augmentation of spiritual power at the level of a Dawn Wizard, super metal element affinity, and the Metal Morphing Spell, in just a quarter of an hour, a mechanical land bird over three meters tall appeared before them.

Of course, such rapid speed was also because the Isodre School had stocked numerous small energy furnaces, further shortening Rein’s production process.

”Swish!”

The mechanical land bird’s formidable peck immediately blasted a massive hole through an ironwood dummy nearby, and its stout hydraulic-driven legs stomped, instantly shattering another ironwood dummy into pieces.

This scene left the two Crystalization Peak elder wizards from the Isodre School utterly aghast!

”Rei... Rein, Your Crown, in the realm of mechanical constructs, if you claim to be second, no one in the Empire dares to claim first.” The bearded elder was so astonished that he nearly tore off half of his most prized whiskers.
