Chapter 1573: Chapter 542: Empire Treasury_3

As the stored items are exceedingly precious, to prevent unforeseen incidents, it is stipulated here that all exchanges require the Guardian to be present in person.

As Rein and Olena passed through layer upon layer of review and entered the hall, a comely female Attendant approached them quickly from the side, curtsied, and said:

”Honorable Crown Rein, greetings.”

”This is our first meeting; please allow me to briefly introduce matters. These treasures are stored in different places due to varying categories...”

”May I ask if you are here to exchange for potions, Witch Artifacts, or witchcraft?”

”Potions,” said Rein.

Just on the way, Olena had briefly introduced to him that the Imperial Treasury was merely a general title. In reality, within this building, there are several secondary treasuries subdivided to store different materials systematically.

”Alright, Lord Rein, please follow me.”

”Ms. Olena, please wait for a while in the lounge beside if you may? Per regulations, Crown Rein must proceed alone.” The female attendant then said to Olena at the side.

”Of course.” Olena nodded.

Soon, Rein followed the attendant along the corridor to the right, arriving at a slightly smaller hall, where there was only one counter, and a female Witch whose power had evidently reached the Liquidization Level was acting as a teller here.

Seeing Rein’s arrival, she immediately stood up and bowed as well.

”Do you have potions that can enhance the spiritual power of the Dawn Wizard level?” Rein asked directly.

”Yes, Lord Rein, please wait a moment.”

”Here is a summary of the potions currently available in the Imperial Treasury that meet your conditions: Extraordinary Wisdom Potion... Ancient Spirit Fission Potion...” Soon, the Witch began introducing them in detail one by one.

...

Half an hour later.

Having exchanged the potions, Rein returned to the secret room of the Bixiu Mechanization School.

He chose the ’Extraordinary Wisdom Potion,’ an ancient potion capable of steadily enhancing the Dawn Wizard’s spiritual power. However, like most rare potions, the first use yields the best effect, and the subsequent effect starts to decrease significantly.

The reason Rein chose it was because its medicinal effect is relatively stable and essentially has no side effects.

Potions that allow the spiritual power of Dawn Wizards to increase steadily are extremely rare in the Imperial Treasury. They are broadly divided into two categories.

One category belongs to those the Empire acquired the formula for and can produce in small quantities. These potions’ effects have been tested and are highly reliable, like the ’Extraordinary Wisdom Potion’ Rein has exchanged this time.

The other category is derived from some ruins or a minimal amount preserved ancient potions, or even unique ones, whose effects are hard to guarantee, like the Spirit Fission Potion, etc.

At this moment, the spiritual power displayed on Rein’s attribute panel has reached 295 points, with ten points being the reward obtained upon advancing to Goblin Engineering Expert level, and two more points were consumed when rescuing that group of Elves in a small Secret Realm.

Even though he neither allocated points nor recovered during battle with that test subject, a significant expenditure occurred during the rescue operation before that, where he utilized ’Shadow Shifting.’ Transporting oneself requires considerably less spiritual power than taking others, resulting in an entirely different magnitude of consumption, increasing geometrically.

”Let’s see how much spiritual power boost this bottle of Extraordinary Wisdom Potion can bring me.”

After some preparations, Rein took a deep swig of the potion that emitted a bright blue glow!

A refreshing sweetness, like a certain fruit, filled his mouth, and as it slipped down his esophagus into his stomach, Rein felt waves of warmth from his stomach a few seconds later.

This warmth was akin to the winter sun and post-snow hot springs, giving Rein an inexplicable sense of ease.

Meanwhile, threads of coolness started to emerge from within and gradually flowed toward his brain.

And the system prompt followed suit:

[Congratulations! Your spiritual attribute has been enhanced!]

[Congratulations! Your spiritual attribute has been enhanced!]

...

Once the effect of the potion completely faded, Rein glanced at the attribute panel, which prominently displayed:

Spirit: 310 (Quality 92%)

”A total of fifteen points boost?”

”Not bad.”

”So this implies, this bottle of ’Extraordinary Wisdom Potion’ increased my overall spiritual power by approximately 5%.” Rein smiled as he watched the spiritual attribute on the attribute panel finally cross the threshold into the 300s.

Feeling the changes within his body, Rein quickly decided to attempt the Fifth Layer of Steel Heart again, to assess the degree of progress.

Suddenly, Rein froze, his expression startled.

”Such a level of mysterious energy particle fluctuation...”

”It’s noticeably improved since before.”

Even though Cleya had forewarned him about this more than half a year ago.

But this time, the amplitude of fluctuation increased significantly.

To put it this way, if the prior increase was about two decimal places each day, then this time it’s reached about the first decimal place; this increment may seem minor, but it has only been one day.

Over time, it would be quite substantial.

The same scene occurred across the Empire.

Not only the Imperial City Tamriel, but also regions like the Frostwind Prairie to the North, the Summer Sea coast to the East, the Shirendil Plateau to the Northwest, and even beyond the ocean in the Federation, many powerful entities displayed a look of surprise.

Many amongst them thought of something and immediately furrowed their brows, revealing a worried look.

....

At the same time.

A mysterious space beneath the Imperial Palace.

A stately voice emanated from there, reaching the ears of every Royal Family powerhouse within the palace: ”In two days, I will attempt to strive for Demigod again, quickly gather the Empire’s strong back to the Imperial City.”

”Great, Father, there’s no way you could pass this trial, Rein!” The Second Prince Everton was naturally overjoyed to hear this voice.

Within a luxurious palace room, Menia’s beautiful eyes suddenly widened: ”The Emperor awoke?! But isn’t this decision rather hasty...”

”The Emperor, this is...” On the other side, Elder Ivan had a complicated expression.
