Chapter 3194: Chapter 3195: Cloud Cave

The words of Kukurus revealed two pieces of information.

First of all, Kukurus knew that Luigi had a Temporal Body and was even aware that there was a Great Existence behind Luigi. This was also the reason why Kukurus was willing to ”accommodate” Luigi by intentionally shrinking its size.

However, Kukurus seemed unaware of Laplace’s identity.

When its gaze swept over Laplace, there was no display of reverence.

The second piece of information revealed by this sentence is that Kukurus has ”grown.”

Previously, Angel was somewhat puzzled about what kind of riddle Luigi and Kukurus were speaking, but after hearing Kukurus’ words, he understood.

The core figure was still that Mini Dragon... Baba Ragon.

According to Kukurus’ words, as Baba Ragon’s childhood companion, it still held onto the ”Cave Dragon” pride at that time, with no respect without compromise for Baba Ragon. This caused Baba Ragon’s young spirit to be hurt.

Now, Kukurus claimed that it had ”grown.”

Also, because it believed that it had grown, it no longer cared about the racial superiority brought by that massive size and was willing to put away the Cave Dragon’s pride and shrink its size.

These are the two main points.

However, whether Kukurus has truly grown or has merely become more slick and scheming is actually hard to judge.

But this has nothing to do with Angel; after all, Kukurus is looking for Luigi, not him.

”Now that you’re here, shall we talk about your previous promise?” Kukurus looked at Luigi.

Luigi frowned: ”My promise? What promise?”

Kukurus’s silver eyes flickered: ”Not long ago, you promised to find a way for me to meet Baba Ragon.”

Luigi: ”That matter, it can be done...”

”Wait a moment.” Kukurus interrupted Luigi, casting a glance around. Somehow, outlines in various colors vaguely appeared on the surrounding mountain tops.

Those were Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom’s Mirror Dragons... presumably, all here to listen to gossip.

”Shall we talk somewhere else?”

Luigi shrugged, indicating he didn’t mind.

Kukurus turned to look at the black-scaled Cave Dragon who had led them earlier: ”Khuntela, take the other two guests for a tour around the outpost. Make sure the guests are satisfied.”

The two guests Kukurus referred to were naturally Angel and Laplace.

Khuntela the black-scaled Cave Dragon nodded: ”As you wish, my lord.”

With that said, Khuntela turned to look at Angel. — It dared not look at Laplace.

”Next, I will take the two of you for a tour of the outpost.” Khuntela: ”I wonder, where would you like to go first? Cloud Cave, Viridescent Marsh Trace, or Rock Palace?”

Angel was about to ask about the differences between these three places when Luigi shouted: ”Wait a minute.”

Under the gazes of Kukurus and Khuntela, Luigi quickly walked over to Angel and gave Angel a look with his eyes: ”How about you come with me?”

Kukurus frowned. It wanted Luigi to take it to meet Baba Ragon. What was the point of bringing a human? Moreover, this human did not have much of the Mirror Domain’s aura, obviously from the outside world. Who was he?

While Kukurus was somewhat puzzled, it did not immediately ask but stood silently on the side, scrutinizing Angel.

On the other side, although Luigi did not say it explicitly, Angel knew what he meant.

The reason for asking him to come along must be to promote the Log-in Device.

Earlier, Luigi had told Kukurus: ”I have a way for you to meet Baba Ragon.”

This method was not him personally taking Kukurus to find Baba Ragon, but rather planning to have Kukurus Enter Dream Crystal Origin and ”coincidentally” meet Baba Ragon through the platform.

If Kukurus truly wanted to see Baba Ragon urgently, it would certainly accept the Log-in Device.

This way, the Log-in Device would have opened a door in the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, making it easier to promote later.

Letting Angel go with him was also to show an attitude: after all, whether the Crystal Origin of Dreams or the Log-in Device, they were all invented by Angel.

However, Angel wasn’t planning on revealing his identity right now.

Currently, he still didn’t quite understand the Mirror Domain, so it’s better to be an invisible figure, leaving the front-stage representation to Luigi and Glaipnir.

Seeing this, Luigi didn’t press further; instead, he turned to Khuntela: ”Please take good care of my friend.”

Khuntela nodded.

Only then did Luigi turn around and fly towards Kukurus. After a wave of spatial fluctuation, Luigi and Kukurus promptly disappeared.

Khuntela turned to Angel, having watched Angel before due to not daring to meet Laplace’s gaze; now, it was out of curiosity about Angel’s identity.

Luigi seemed quite to value this human, right?

Moreover, that mysterious-eyed girl seemed to also pay a lot of attention to this human.

What could his identity be?

Though curious, Khuntela, as a member of the Mirror Dragon Clan, also had its pride, or perhaps... arrogance? Unless necessary, it wouldn’t actively inquire about a human’s identity.

”Where would you two like to go now?”

Khuntela gave a brief introduction of the current subdivisions within the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom’s outpost.

Cloud Cave is where the Cave Dragons temporarily reside.

Viridescent Marsh Trace is the habitat of Lacquer Dragons, one of the six giant dragon clans of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, specialized in the manipulation of poison and water.

Rock Palace is the territory of the Treasure Dragons. Though not a clan of giant dragons, there are some special branches within the Treasure Dragons, extremely powerful, with combat strength that reaches the peak of the Pyramid of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom.

Currently, the outpost has only these three subdivisions. At the same time, it represents that this time, the Mirror Dragons in attendance from the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom encompass three different faction splits.

After discussing with Laplace, Angel decided to go to Rock Palace for a look.

According to Khuntela, Cloud Cave and Viridescent Marsh Trace were specifically arranged as accommodations for the Cave Dragons and Lacquer Dragons to stay and rest.

Rock Palace, however, is considered a true ”station,” and while the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom does not have many products on display this time, nearly all the openly available products are there.

So, going to the other two places would be like visiting the giant dragon clans. But going to Rock Palace provides a chance to see the specialties of the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom.

Khuntela was satisfied with Angel’s choice; if Angel had chosen one of the other two places, Cloud Cave, being its home, wouldn’t be an issue; but if it were Viridescent Marsh Trace, it would have to put in extra effort to communicate and avoid being seen as intruding.

So, Angel choosing the Rock Palace really saved some trouble.

”The Rock Palace is just below, please follow me,” Khuntela said as he flew toward the dense forest beneath.

...

The flowers bloom, each with its own charm.

On Luigi’s side, after a bout of spatial transmission, he arrived in a spacious cavern.

This cavern wasn’t a rock cave or a mountain cave; the cave walls were made up of layers of gray clouds. As expected, this should be the ”Cloud Cave” that Khuntela mentioned before.

Although the walls were made of clouds, stepping on them felt very solid, like stepping on a soft carpet.

After Luigi stood still, he looked around.

The first impression was: Large, immense.

The kind of large that you can’t see the top of at a glance.

One could estimate that this cavern was built according to Kukurus’s true body size?

Also, because it was so large, Luigi felt it was very spacious here, without any ”creations.” Even if there were, they were probably hidden in the mist.

Kurus was maintaining his two-meter form at the time, standing right next to Luigi.

”Is it here?” Kurus looked at Luigi. ”I wonder, what method did you mention?”

Luigi did not speak immediately. He looked around and, after ensuring there was no place to sit like a chair, reluctantly took out a bench from his mirror.

After sitting down, Luigi couldn’t help but complain, ”Baba Ragon’s place is more comfortable, at least there’s food and drink, so guests don’t have to stand. Over here, I have to bring my own seat.”

Kukurus: ”...”

Furnishings and food, stuff like that, Cloud Cave does have, but it’s too big for Luigi to use. However, the setup at the Rock Palace suits Luigi’s size.

But now that they’re already at the Cloud Cave, they can’t very well detour to the Rock Palace, can they?

While Kukurus was hesitating, Luigi shifted topics, ”Back to the main topic, first, let me state my position. I’m completely uninterested in the matters between you and Baba Ragon.”

”No need for you to state your position to me, and I won’t convey anything about you to Baba Ragon.”

”So, if you hope for my help in meeting Baba Ragon, that’s impossible.”

Upon hearing Luigi’s words, Kukurus’s already prominent brow bone became even more pronounced and furrowed. ”If you don’t get involved, how can I meet Baba Ragon?”

Luigi shrugged, ”There are many ways, for instance... a chance encounter.”

”A chance encounter?” Kukurus laughed knowing that the ”chance encounter” Luigi mentioned was certainly not a real ”chance encounter” but a pre-arranged one-sided encounter.

Such encounters, if arranged for other dragons, might be possible. But... Baba Ragon? Forget it.

Kukurus thought this joke was a bit much.

The reason is simple: The prerequisite for a chance encounter is that Baba Ragon needs to come out.

Baba Ragon now stays in Pipi Castle researching inventions every day, and hasn’t left in many years. How can there be a chance encounter?

Or does it mean that it, the Cave Dragon of the future, Kurus, is specially going to the inner city of Pipi Castle to have an ”unexpected meeting” with Baba Ragon?

Baba Ragon isn’t foolish; if Kukurus went to Pipi Castle, what kind of chance encounter would that be?

Though he internally disagreed, Kukurus offered an alternative scenario for Luigi, ”So you mean, you arrange for Baba Ragon to go to a certain place, and I just happen to go to that place to meet Baba Ragon by chance?”

Luigi quickly shook his head, ”I already said, I won’t get involved in your matters, nor would I get Baba Ragon to go anywhere for you.”

Kukurus asked puzzledly, ”Then what do you mean? Could it be that Baba Ragon plans to leave Pipi Castle soon, and you’ll share his schedule with me?”

Luigi sighed, ”Neither. What I mean is, you two should meet in a special place.”

”A special place?” Kukurus furrowed his brow. Isn’t this still a planned meeting?

Luigi nodded, ”This place, you can think of it as... a New World!”

”New World? You mean, another world?”

Luigi stuck out his index finger and shook it from side to side, ”No, no, no, this New World is right within the Mirror Domain, and you can enter anytime you want.”

Kukurus was further puzzled. What kind of confusing remark is this? Has the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom been out of touch with the outside world for so long that it’s missed many current trends?

Before Kukurus could inquire further, Luigi suddenly shifted the topic again, ”Speaking of which, I usually never attend such gatherings, but here I am. Not only me, but Glaipnir is here too... you know Glaipnir, right?”

Kukurus nodded; currently, he knew that the two temporal bodies of that great being were Luigi and Glaipnir.

In fact, he learned about that great presence through Glaipnir.

Glaipnir was kind to the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, hence Kukurus had the chance to hear some information from his elders, leading him to know about that presence.

Luigi: ”The two of us are here now. Do you know why we came?”

Kukurus shook his head, ”I don’t know, but is it related to why I sought you today?”

Luigi didn’t respond immediately, he said to himself, ”We came because we want to promote a project, and this project has been acknowledged by both me and Glaipnir, so you should understand its significance.”

Kukurus originally wanted to interrupt Luigi, but when he suddenly mentioned ”project,” Kukurus’s curiosity was piqued.

Because, if it gained Luigi’s and Glaipnir’s acknowledgment, it equated to receiving recognition from that great presence.

In other words, this project is actually what that great presence wants to promote.

No matter what this project is, as long as it involves that great presence, even if he’s otherwise uninterested, he must show polite concern, ”What is the project?”

Luigi: ”Hold on, let me find it for you.”

As he spoke, Luigi sank his thoughts into his own space.

Though most of the Log-in Devices are with Glaipnir, he still stored some in his own space.

The appearance of the Log-in Devices... they come in various designs, and they also have different models.

There’s even a special kind of Log-in Device that can change with body size... customized by Angel for those large-bodied races, but crafting such special Log-in Devices takes a lot of effort; there are only a few, and all the stock is with Glaipnir, as Glaipnir is the main promoter this time.

Luigi didn’t have special Log-in Devices, so he carefully selected one from what he had, choosing a Log-in Device design that he thought Kukurus might like.

An earring.
