Chapter 3187: Chapter 3188: Gesen Mirror Domain

”Stronger forces?” Angel asked in confusion, ”Do you mean... racial forces?”

Laplace: ”Not just racial forces, there are also comprehensive forces.”

What are referred to as racial forces are, for instance, where they are currently, Crystal City, is the racial force of the Crystal Eye Clan; others similar like the Ancient Ruins of Tooth Fairy is a Mirror Sea Scholar force; the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom is the force of the Dragon Clan in the mirror; Pipi Castle is the force of Pirush... and so on.

The so-called comprehensive forces, like the City of Hot Gold that Angel went to before, and the Everstanding King City created by Lady Mirror, within these forces, there is no single dominant race. Instead, various races gather to collectively build a force, this type of force is called a comprehensive force.

From a comparative advantage perspective, both racial forces and comprehensive forces have their pros and cons.

Among them, racial forces value the strength of the race itself; if individuals are weak, then overall, they might be weak too. But if the race itself is strong, then overall it remains powerful, the best example is the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom.

Comprehensive forces, on the other hand, don’t need to worry about being too weak, because the mixing of races can complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, generally making the overall force not too poor.

However, the disadvantage of comprehensive forces is also obvious: it’s very hard to unite.

Racial forces, since they all belong to the same race internally, don’t have a ”unity” problem at all.—Except for the Changhuo Clan.

But above all, no matter what type of force it is, in Laplace’s view, none of them are particularly powerful.

This power considers not only fighting strength but also various dimensions of measurement.

Like the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom, individual combat power is strong, but there’s a big problem... it’s hard for offspring to reproduce.

This problem results in the overall number of Mirror Dragons in the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom being too few. When compared to the number of Pirush, Pipi Castle doesn’t even need to send out either the Outer city or Inner city’s Pirush, just the number in the Transition area and Wilderness area far exceeds the total number of Mirror Dragons.

Difficulty in reproduction means decreased vitality of the race.

Of course, the Hundred-Dragon Divine Kingdom is still a powerful race, but compared to other strong racial forces in the Mirror Domain, it falls short.

And the Gosen Mirror Domain does have such strong races that excel in all aspects.

Laplace: ”...Among the discussions outside, there’s one point that’s not wrong. The Gosen Mirror Domain is called ’Gosen’ because the name contains the two strong races of this Mirror Domain.”

Angel hesitated and said, ”Singer and Yusen?”

Laplace nodded: ”Yes. I’m not too familiar with the forces of the Gosen Mirror Domain, but I’ve heard about these two forces as representatives of the Gosen Mirror Domain.”

”Among them, the Singers belong to a comprehensive force. I don’t know the specific information, but I know not everyone in this force can be called a ’Singer,’ and ’Singer’ represents a miracle.”

Angel was stunned and after a while, reacted: ”Miracle?!”

This meant... that the Singer force possesses miracle-level beings?

Laplace shook his head: ”I don’t know if ’Singer’ is a miracle being, but from the glimpse of information I have, there must be legendary creatures within the Singer force.”

Even though he couldn’t confirm the existence of ’miracles,’ Angel was still a bit dazed.

If the Singer force truly possesses ’miracles,’ then calling it a strong racial force is understandable.

”As for Yusen, this is a typical racial force.” Laplace knows more about ’Yusen’ than ’Singer.’

The meaning of Yusen is: soaring forest.

The characteristics of the Yusen race also conform to this meaning.

Simply put, Yusen are a group of plant life with wings.

Laplace: ”Those Dream Plant Fairies in the Wilderness of Dreams are actually somewhat like the Yusen clan, able to freely fly by controlling wings and also manipulate plant growth.”

However, the Yusen are much stronger than Dream Plant Fairies.

The so-called ”flying” of Yusen is not only soaring in the sky but also traversing the void, setting path marks in the bewilderment, never getting lost.

And the plant growth manipulation by Yusen isn’t just about planting forests on the ground. They can even grow a Sea of Flowers in the void.

Therefore, everywhere Yusen are located, even the void is filled with a variety of splendid flowers and plants.

This is called the Void Forest.

As for the strong among Yusen, Laplace is not familiar, but if Yusen can stand side by side with Singers, their strong must not be few. If there truly are miracle beings within the Singer force, it’s likely Yusen would have some too; otherwise, how could they stand on equal footing?

After listening to Laplace’s explanation, besides being amazed, Angel could only be amazed.

”So, it’s understandable why Pirush lists them as a ’special’ expansion page.” No matter what people from the Singer and Yusen races come, handling such strong forces carelessly could lead to endless troubles.

”By the way, does the Daylight Mirror Domain have passages connecting to other Mirror Domains?” Luigi suddenly asked, ”If not, how did people from Singer and Yusen arrive in the Daylight Mirror Domain?”

Luigi stroked his chin thoughtfully: ”They wouldn’t have crossed into reality first, and then traveled through the void in reality and finally reached the coverage area of the Daylight Mirror Domain and then entered, would they?”

Angel thought for a while and said, ”It might also be possible that they surged out from the Sea Eye of the Sea of Void Mirror.”

Luigi: ”Coming from the Sea Eye of the Sea of Void Mirror is indeed one way. But aren’t they afraid of becoming Empty-hearted People?”

Or perhaps, the Singer and Yusen mastered the ability to anchor memories in the Sea of Void Mirror?

Luigi felt unlikely. If such abilities truly existed, the major Mirror Domains would have connected long ago, and wouldn’t be playing their own games.

At this moment, Laplace spoke: ”Actually, there’s another possibility.”

Luigi was first stunned, looking into Laplace’s eyes, seemingly thought of something, furrowing his brow: ”You mean...”

Laplace slowly uttered a word: ”Ghost Phantom.”

...

After experiencing the showcase booklet event, although various races in the passage were grumbling, their pace involuntarily quickened.

Singers and Yusen, they had never heard of these Outer Domain races before. Moreover, they’re not races in reality but likewise Mirror Domain races.

The items they carry would undoubtedly be more suitable for Mirror Domain races than mundane items in reality.

All tribes cursed with their mouths but knew it well in their hearts, each wanting to see what these two Outer Domain races could bring in terms of trade goods. To quickly understand these two Outer Domain races, one should seek Pirush for the showcase booklet extension.

As a result, everyone’s steps quickened.

The earlier they understand, the more advantageous they are; if they’re late, it’s hard to say if good things won’t all be bought by others.

In an instant, the passageway became much emptier.

Only a few races with little competitiveness continued to walk leisurely, chatting about the newly emerged gossip with others around them.

Angel and the others didn’t intentionally speed up. It’s not that they weren’t interested in the Outer Domain races, but Luigi guaranteed, ”I’m quite familiar with Pika Sage, and he’s here too. We can go straight to Pika Sage and get additional pages, without having to squeeze with them.”

”Moreover, when the time comes, we’ll elevate the display booklet’s permissions to the highest. We can directly contact the heads of various races, saving us from queuing.”

Angel also knew that Luigi and Pika Sage should know each other, especially with Baba Ragon as an intermediary. But could it really be expanded so smoothly? Angel still harbored doubts.

After all, Luigi wasn’t the only one thinking about using the backdoor.

”Before worrying about these far-fetched matters, it’s better to figure out how to get off the blacklist,” Angel murmured.

As soon as the blacklist was mentioned, Luigi’s face fell.

”If I find that Pirush who dared to kick me, even if Pika Sage pleads for him, I’ll give him a fierce beating and hang him in public, then have the Bad Tooth Band perform around him for three days and nights.”

”What’s the Bad Tooth Band?” Angel asked Luigi in confusion, but Luigi was already lost in his fantasy of curses and didn’t respond.

Angel could only turn to Laplace.

Laplace: ”The true name of the Bad Tooth Band is the ’Scholar’s Band,’ a music group formed within the Ancient Tooth Fairy... they are rather unknown.”

The band had once invited Luigi to join, and driven by curiosity, he attended one of their performances.

Afterward, Luigi did not step foot into the Ancient Ruins of Tooth Fairy for a full ten years.

According to Luigi, that so-called Scholar’s Band was absolutely the Bad Tooth Band. So dreadful it could make the world collapse; it was the most devastating weapon he’d ever encountered!

Any sonic attack paled in comparison to the performance of the Bad Tooth Band.

From Luigi’s passionate words, one could gauge just how awful the Scholar’s Band sounded...

Though the band hadn’t disbanded yet for unknown reasons, Luigi’s willingness to call upon the Scholar’s Band to punish a Pirush ”customer service” was indicative of his inner anger.

Luigi came back to his senses, adding, ”The Bad Tooth Band is the disgrace of music bands, but perfect for punishment.”

Angel stayed silent for a moment, then softly said, ”Actually, you don’t necessarily have to call the Bad Tooth Band. Recite poetry to that Pirush for three days yourself, the effect should be almost the same.”

Luigi furrowed his brow, ”Are you saying my poetry is bad?”

Angel shook his head, ”I’m saying, if he listens to the world’s most beautiful poetry for three consecutive days, if he never hears it again, wouldn’t he be sad enough to want to die?”

As Angel spoke those words, Laplace’s steps hesitated briefly, then continued nonchalantly.

Luigi, however, stroked his chin, seriously considering the suggestion.

Laplace turned, giving Angel a deep look, and transmitted, ”You really are... despicable.”

Angel merely blinked, not responding, instead changing the topic and asking, ”By the way, do Demonic Ghosts within the Mirror really have channels connecting other mirror domains?”

Earlier, Laplace had mentioned that ”the Ghost Phantom” could connect to other mirror domains; Luigi, upon hearing this, had paused before saying, ”The Ghost Phantom is too vast, they might not necessarily be able to pinpoint.”

And Laplace replied, ”The Feather Forest Clan can pinpoint.”

Luigi said no more.

Although Angel was also puzzled at the time, his attention was diverted when the surrounding races suddenly quickened their pace, shifting his focus, so he didn’t immediately inquire.

Now, with most of the people around them gone, Angel recalled his previous query.

Laplace: ”I’m not certain that Demonic Ghosts within the Mirror definitely have connecting channels. But the Mirror Domain itself is indeed interconnected, much like Quest World, Dream Realm, and Nightmare Realm.”

”While we didn’t find any connecting channels in the Daylight Mirror Domain, any channel must exist on the dark side of the Daylight Mirror Domain—namely the Gloomy Mirror Domain.”

Gloomy Mirror Domain is the corresponding twin to the Daylight Mirror Domain’s Demonic Ghosts within the Mirror.

However, the Ghost Phantom is too large, with numerous unexplained, irrational fatal forbidden areas, making it extremely dangerous. Typically, mirror creatures wouldn’t venture to the Ghost Phantom, and it’s difficult to explore, resulting in limited understanding of the Ghost Phantom.

Whether the Ghost Phantom holds channels leading to other mirror domains remains speculative among the creatures of the mirror, unconfirmed.

Angel: ”If all major mirror domains are interconnected, it’s not necessarily through the Ghost Phantom. The Sea of Void Mirror could be the connection; perhaps the connection mentioned refers to the Sea Eye in the Sea of Void Mirror?”

Laplace shook his head, ”It’s different; the Sea Eye acts as a special hub, akin to a teleportation array with a high threshold.”

”What I’m referring to as interconnection is reaching another mirror domain without using such a teleportation.”

Angel pondered briefly, then grasped the concept.

Using the game terminology from the holographic tablet, it’s akin to the concept of a ”seamless map” versus a ”stitched map.”

If one travels from the Sea Eye to another mirror domain, even assuming it’s possible, reaching there involves a ”transition loading screen”—which isn’t considered interconnection, merely a special mechanism.

If the Mirror Domain has channels, these channels would lead directly to other mirror domains, forming a seamless connection.

”I’m not overly curious whether there are channels in the Ghost Phantom. However, if you’re keen to know the answer, you might ask the Mirror Ghost in Resentful Women Town,” Laplace paused, suggesting further, ”Though I don’t recommend direct contact with the Mirror Ghost; communication should be through the display booklet.”

The Ghost Phantom’s indigenous people, specifically the Mirror Ghosts, undoubtedly know the most about the Ghost Phantom.

It’s rare, and coincidentally, some Mirror Ghosts from Resentful Women Town attended the gathering, even possessing their own page in the display booklet.

If seeking the answer to the channel query, directly asking the Mirror Ghost seems ideal.

However, the Mirror Ghosts may not necessarily know, given the Ghost Phantom’s immense size, essentially represented by Void Distance. Moreover, the Ghost Phantom harbors too many forbidden areas, and the Mirror Ghost’s sanity is questionable... but just asking shouldn’t be an issue.

Still, Angel didn’t immediately reach out to communicate with a Mirror Ghost, because those attending from Resentful Women Town were ’Red Lamp Demoness,’ the slightly more rational type of Mirror Ghost. However, they weren’t rational enough to efficiently handle customer service.

The only Mirror Ghost capable of smoothly interacting with the outside world is the Vermilion Lamp Demon Queen.

The Vermilion Lamp Demon Queen is the true hostess responsible for this Resentful Women Town’s display page.

To contact her through the display booklet, Angel must wait for Luigi to find Pika Sage, upgrade the display booklet’s permissions, and then proceed.

Of course, assuming Luigi can genuinely find a way to increase the display booklet’s permissions.
