Three Towers Game

Chapter 1537: Chapter 493: Heading to the Underground Mecha Fighting Tournament (Part 3)

”You’re just no longer fighting alone, but that doesn’t mean the Rust Spotters are such a powerful organization. If your scale was bigger, you’d become a bug in the Mechanical City.”

”And in a city like this, there must be many methods to eliminate bugs.”

Old Yan lowered his head:

”Yes, I’m no longer alone, but we can only do so much. The Rust Spotters are a bunch living at the bottom, yearning to fight the mechanical depression in a human way, seeking human happiness.”

”We are the outcasts of the Mechanical City.”

Wen Xishu understood that Old Yan was guiding him, Old Yan was testing him.

He went along and said:

”You must have thought of how to solve the problem from the root.”

Old Yan replied:

”Yes. Human souls and bodies have been compressed into mechanical cores. There must be a way to turn mechanical cores back into human.”

Wen Xishu asked a question:

”Along the way, I met many... people addicted to phantasmagoria agents. These people actually don’t live too badly. Do you know what’s going on outside?”

”Outside, it’s full of monsters, rule quirks, at least in the Mechanical City, they can be addicted to something without having to think about how to survive.”

”If they turn back into humans, do you think they will thank you or hate you?”

Old Yan shook his head and said:

”Our current situation is no different from some rule quirk.”

”We’re infested with the curse of mechanical depression if we don’t work. Every enterprise eyes our human parts, our souls seem like some precious resource to be gleaned clean, then we become purely work-focused machines... What’s the difference with death? Just that the process is not so painful.”

”But we... should be able to live more like humans. I don’t need their gratitude; what I need only concerns myself, I want to become a human, what about you?”

Wen Xishu hadn’t expected Old Yan’s determination to be so strong, but mere determination isn’t enough.

”What intelligence do you know?”

Old Yan understood, Wen Xishu was showing his stance, he spoke excitedly:

”Though the Rust Spotters hold a lowly identity, we’ve built an underground network. While repairing the mechanical bodies of the lower people, we’ve obtained many secrets of mechanical cores.”

”Through extensive consolidation, we’ve gathered quite a bit of intelligence.”

”I don’t know how to turn back human, but I know one thing—those pawnshops that pawn memories and human traits, eventually store those memories and human traits in some white mechanical cores. Because mechanical bodies have worked there.”

”Those white cores are called ’God’s Eggs,’ kept by Zeroer Asdoku, one of the Four Emperors.”

God’s Eggs.

Wen Xishu knows about Taurus, and also understands the relationship between the Non-human Association and Taurus.

He vaguely felt that Taurus turning humans into non-humans, then stripping human memories and traits from non-humans to create ’God’s Eggs,’ serves some purpose.

Old Yan continued:

”We don’t know the function of the ’God’s Eggs,’ but every once in a while, the Mechanical God—Eternal Sovereign Alpha—will transfer these ’God’s Eggs,’ disappearing along with them.”

”The deeper secrets, we don’t know either. I only speculate that to manufacture the non-human realm, what is needed are precisely things related to humans.”

”Just like how the rich maintain their dignity, they enslave the wealth from the poor, which often originates from the poor themselves.”

”God’s Eggs, maybe they’re some kind of material sustaining the non-human state.”

Wen Xishu still admired Old Yan, for the sake of resurrecting his daughter, becoming Mechanical Race, overcoming mechanical depression with personal will, successfully entering Eden Workshop, then accumulating wealth, establishing a personal small business, creating a repair station in the Lower City District, developing personal forces, and ultimately acquiring intelligence almost impossible for ordinary people to know.

In this place, which is indeed the Mechanical City, to achieve such a level, Old Yan must be a cautious person.

But the process of Old Yan meeting him was almost somewhat reckless.

He seemed to understand the origin of this recklessness:

”You’re waiting for someone... who can explore the function of God’s Eggs.”

Old Yan didn’t deny it:

”Yes, I’m waiting for such a person, a powerful one who hasn’t colluded with the Upper District.”

”Without this person, just relying on me, I’d never be able to change the Mechanical City. I can only assist with intelligence, but to implement the plan requires a powerful individual.”

”I’ve waited too long for this person, so...”

Wen Xishu waved his hand:

”No need to say more, I indeed have my own plans, currently our interests align.”

”Tell me, what should I do?”

Old Yan thought for a moment and said:

”The whole plan is extremely difficult, almost impossible to achieve.”

”You need to become Zeroer Asdoku’s subordinate, one of the Four Emperors. You need to become the champion of the underground mechanical combat championship. Zeroer Asdoku will choose a strong assistant before transporting ’God’s Eggs’ each time.”

”These assistants are the champions of the underground mechanical combat championship. Of course, even if you become a champion, you may not be assigned to transport God’s Eggs.”

”Therefore, we still need to find a way to eliminate a few champions.”

”However... nearly all of this, you’ll have to accomplish alone. To be honest, your mech is cool, this flawlessly realistic body, but competing in the combat championship, you might not be able to win.”

”Even if everything succeeds, finally with you and Zeroer Asdoku escorting God’s Eggs together, you successfully meet the Mechanical God...”

”Next, how to learn everything from the Mechanical God Eternal Sovereign Alpha’s mouth, and successfully find a way to turn mechanical life back into humans... are all unknowns.”

”Our plan can only proceed step by step, for now, if you truly want to take up this task, then you need to sign up for the underground combat championship first.”

”If you find it too difficult... Then, I will erase the memory of meeting with you. We have never met in private.”

Throughout the entire plan, almost all require Wen Xishu to desperately accomplish, to both win the championship and find ways to eliminate other champions to obtain transportation qualifications.

Only then might he approach the Mechanical God. Upon approaching, there are still many variables that Old Yan cannot predict.

But Wen Xishu doesn’t really mind this plan, after all—Old Yan has already reached his limit.

Especially, he has no choice but to become human again.

Nonetheless, the first task is one Wen Xishu is quite eager to try.

He’s very keen to see if Daedalus’s most perfect work can win the underground mech combat championship.

As well as whether he can improve the adaptation of Albert’s form during the combat process.
