Three Towers Game

Chapter 1505: Chapter 483: Deceit Tower Diary_2

Now, the database of the Deceit Tower has been enriched.

”Mr. Liu, I’m Sha Ruijing.”

The sudden ring of the phone interrupted Liu Jinsen’s reading.

”Old Sha, what’s up?”

”Dean Wen is coming over soon, he just contacted me, says he wants to inspect our work. I’m just wondering, I haven’t done anything wrong, have I?”

Sha Ruijing, the person who first interacted with Wen Xishu, possesses highly astute workplace wisdom.

”Dean Wen recognizes your abilities, don’t worry, he definitely didn’t come to reprimand anyone. Our work hasn’t had any hiccups.” Liu Jinsen replied.

”That’s good, that’s good, I’ll go entertain him right away.” Sha Ruijing noticeably breathed a sigh of relief.

Liu Jinsen hung up the phone, a very subtle smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. He was aware of Old Sha’s ability to get things done.

Although he could be considered one of Wen Xishu’s close associates, facing the boss’s inspection, he not only did his job beautifully but also remained cautious, which Liu Jinsen very much appreciated.

Soon, Liu Jinsen heard footsteps approaching from afar.

He quickly tidied his clothes, ensuring he didn’t appear at all slovenly. Then he headed to the hallway; at the corner he saw Sha Ruijing not far ahead, following behind Wen Xishu, head lowered, smiling, continuously praising.

The subject of praise was Liu Jinsen.

”Of course, Mr. Liu is very meticulous in his work, look at this floor, even the cleaning personnel were arranged by Mr. Liu himself.”

”You see, it’s rare that you come by, Mr. Liu sorts through a lot of information every day and personally goes through the Deceit Tower’s database. You could say, although Mr. Liu doesn’t climb the Deceit Tower, he knows the contents of its various levels better than many.”

Sha Ruijing didn’t mention himself at all, solely praised Liu Jinsen.

Wen Xishu smiled and nodded:

”Old Sha, let’s not be so formal between us, you and Mr. Liu are both my friends, there’s no need for ’Mr.’ and such, let’s not be distant.”

Sha Ruijing lowered his head even further:

”Yes, yes, the Dean is incredibly nostalgic, working under you, I’m truly touched, you are definitely one of my best friends. Mainly I really respect people who bring resources from the outer bunker.”

Wen Xishu thought that Old Sha, placed in his previous life, would definitely be a champion-level Shandong native, eloquent with high emotional intelligence.

He looked toward Liu Jinsen not far away, Liu Jinsen, however, was not as polite. He respected Wen Xishu a lot too, but he knew that being too sycophantic would make Wen Xishu uncomfortable, and besides, he himself was not capable of flattery.

Liu Jinsen was not skilled at reminiscing either, thinking for a moment, he just directly said:

”Just the right time, I have a few plans I’d like to discuss with you.”

Wen Xishu laughed:

”Liu, you don’t need to ask me, I trust you, all the way here Old Sha has already told me about what you’ve done, it’s brilliant.”

”If you have any plans, just implement them.”

”I’ve come this time to look at the Deceit Tower climbing reports.”

Liu Jinsen nodded, he actually guessed that Wen Xishu might be wanting to see this.

Without any hesitation, he invited Wen Xishu into the office, then found a stack of file folders.

Inside were all the Deceit Tower climbing reports from the past two months.

As for Jiang Xue, Zheng Zai, Xu Manjin and other people Wen Xishu was familiar with, Liu Jinsen stored them separately.

As for the Deceit Tower Academy students’, they were stored in another compartment.

Liu Jinsen also found a spreadsheet, showing each person’s climbing analysis and intervals between climbs.

These things piled up in front of Wen Xishu, reaching almost half his height.

Wen Xishu had to admit, Liu Jinsen really didn’t slack off.

He liked people like this.

Clearly he could enjoy life, but instead, he made every effort to do what he could, matching the responsibility to his authority.

Very soon, Wen Xishu began reading.

...

...

Wen Xishu had his own way of climbing the tower. He climbed quickly, relying on his own abilities combined with cheat-level tools, creating many records.

But this also led him to miss many levels of the Deceit Tower.

He was very curious about what lay within those missed levels.

He first looked at Zheng Zai’s.

About twelve days ago, Zheng Zai climbed the Deceit Tower once. Taking five and a half days.

The content began like this:

”Layer 34, my speed is slower than Yin Ze’s, I’m still not bold enough. I must strive to catch up with their pace, I need to become useful, so in the future Younger Brother Wen can use me.”

Zheng Zai’s Deceit Tower report felt very much like a diary.

Wen Xishu saw a few lines and smiled knowingly.

”I only achieved a level four completion this time. I swear, I really didn’t want to eat Ashé, but... this was currently the best way for me to clear the level.”

”I don’t recommend that others learn from me... Sorry, I’m too foolish, I feel like a monster, every time I enter the Deceit Tower, it’s just to eat...”

”But I tried my best, following Officer Liu Jinsen’s method, to record all the information.”

Wen Xishu became interested, he realized that the scene Old Zheng encountered this time was very suited to him.

It was a ”snake eating” game.

”This time’s monster, called Snake Woman, I called her Ashé, she was very pitiful, her life... was like Snake eating, every time she gained something, she’d become more... bloated.”

”She always lived under her parents’ control, as a child to learn piano, dance, as an adult to be pushed into marriage, after marriage to be urged to have children, after having kids to be urged for a second child.”

”I’m not Younger Brother Wen, it’s hard for me to piece together her complete past, but through the game in the Deceit Tower... I felt her life’s predicament.”
