Three Towers Game

Chapter 1512: Chapter 485: Inhuman Tree (Part 3)

Now Wen Xishu already knew, there is actually no multiverse, no Realm of Hundred Selves; what exists are merely simulations created by the Three Towers.

So maybe the shapes he saw were all the shapes he might manifest in the future?

It’s worth mentioning that each option had a probability next to it.

The probability of beasts was 45%. The probability of gods and demons was 15%. Mechanical was 30%. The Unknown Dao was 30%. The Vengeful Spirit Dao was 25%.

This meant that choosing an option might ultimately fail, leading to the possibility of being judged into another option.

Therefore, choosing in the end might not make one become the type they wish to be.

But this problem didn’t trouble Wen Xishu.

Because he had Big Number Tendency, probabilities were almost equivalent to certainties for him.

Wen Xishu quickly received the questionnaire conclusion——

[You are a unique mechanical god’s choice, you will have the chance to evolve into the highest level of mechanical life, I look forward to you winning the mech contest. Even... becoming the emperor of the Mechanical Empire!]

Most of the time, the questionnaire conclusions would be complex, showing what percentage of bestial or vengeful spirit aptitude a person had.

But all of Wen Xishu’s options were 100%, which seemed unprecedented, leading to an extremely simple conclusion—Mechanical God’s Choice.

From the start of the questionnaire, Wen Xishu had already begun to cheat.

”Hope for a decent start.”

After making all preparations, Wen Xishu activated the login device.

This time, his Mad Dice gave him quite some confidence, but the Scorpion Knife was temporarily sealed, because Scorpio had to help him ”gather people,” so the Scorpion Knife was temporarily in a depleted state.

...

...

[Your actions do not have non-human tendencies, task determination modified, current task—Recover Human Identity. And destroy the Mechanical Empire.]

Awake.

When Wen Xishu opened his eyes, he immediately felt uncomfortable, with a large amount of UI distributed in his eyes.

Wen Xishu felt an unprecedented...

Depression.

[Hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis dysfunction, manifested by elevated cortisol levels. Currently in a state of depression.]

[Alleviation plan—Go to Eden Workshop, through work, overtime, improve depressive physique.]

[You possess the TS-74 model mechanical body, and have paid the platinum membership fee, possessing ad-free privilege automatic route-finding system, would you like to establish automatic route-finding to go to Eden Workshop?]

[You currently have one unread email, noble platinum member, do you want it translated into an information stream?]

[Your body, left arm—damage detected, but you have mechanical insurance, would you like free repair?]

Wen Xishu was somewhat dazed, the mass of information made him a bit uncomfortable.

He felt as if he was no longer himself. There was a sense of sadness and self-destructive tendency spreading in his mind.

After a while, he managed to suppress the emotions in his mind and confirmed the current situation.

”It seems my start was okay... I became mechanical life.”

Normally, Wen Xishu would become the weakest, the poorest mechanical body type of the Mechanical Race. No automatic route-finding, unable to pay for prosthetic insurance, needing to watch ads before doing anything.

These are what others will encounter at the start.

But Wen Xishu seemed lucky, as he was judged as the mechanical god’s choice, so he started with a decent mech, with all membership fees and insurance fees paid.

Yet at this moment, he felt somewhat strange.

He felt extremely unhappy, stemming from the unhappiness of not working.

It seemed only by going to Eden Workshop, engaging in frantic work, could he feel happy, could he quell the depressive mood.

”I actually crave work, work actually brings happiness... It seems, the Non-human Association not only turns people non-human, but also alters many human traits.”

Is this... okay?

[Would you like to leave the luxurious mechanical cabin?]

When Wen Xishu looked around, he realized he was in a mechanical cabin.

”It looks like the mechanical cabin is akin to houses in the human world.”

”Now, is my task to retrieve the human body?” 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

Leaving the mechanical cabin might allow one to see a city for mechanical life forms, and adventures in the non-human mechanical city would begin.

Wen Xishu instinctively tried to take a deep breath, only to find he seemed to have no respiratory system.

[Your mechanical core brain established a human habit, it’s a forbidden experience, but now, with a payment of 99,000 Mechanical Coins, you can experience humanoid mecha. About to check your wealth.]

[Current balance—590 Mechanical Coins, current loan qualification—6,000 Mechanical Coins. Current social Mechanical Coin valuation—400 Mechanical Coins. Current work potential valuation, term five years—3,000 Mechanical Coins.]

[Unfortunately, exhausting your six wallets, borrowing from all your friends, you still cannot experience being human.]

Wen Xishu chuckled.

He seemed to gain a bit of insight.

”It seems, I must find the human body, perhaps humanoid mecha is a direction, that means I must first earn 6,000 Mechanical Coins. How interesting.”

”Not to say, but indeed, I started fairly wealthy.”

With 590 Mechanical Coins in savings, then the loan value is ten times the savings, and the social valuation, that is, the money one can borrow from friends, is actually less than one’s savings...

Not bad. It looks poor, but not that poor, if not for the mechanical god’s choice evaluation, the start would have been worse.
