Three Towers Game

Chapter 1528: Chapter 490: Humanoid Body Customization_3

And what I need to do is destroy the Mechanical City, perhaps turning the non-human back into humans is also a solution?

The Big Number Tendency exerts its force; it will bring misfortune, but also good fortune.

Perhaps this moment is a critical point of luck.

Wen Xishu did not refuse:

”I am quite interested, but right now, I must go to replace my body.”

Old Yan understood:

”It looks like you’ve really won a lot of money, which makes me envious. I also crave a humanoid mech. You know...”

”Without a humanoid mech, some human behaviors, once exhibited, are labeled as rebellious.”

Wen Xishu was a bit surprised:

”Why?”

Old Yan said:

”In fact, the world of the Mechanical City and the human world are similar in many ways.”

”In the human world, people from the lower class are taught that they must have ’humanity’. They are told that it is wrong to show beastly nature, and humans should learn to respect and care for others. But you know, the upper class of the human world takes pride in showing beastly nature. They enslave others, domesticate others, and even devour others... these are things beasts do.”

”It’s the same in the Mechanical City, only reversed. They fear that the lower-class machines might possess humanity, but the upper-class machines begin to pursue humanity. They start to develop souls, yet they deny the lower class the qualification to become human, because the lower class must be non-human tools.”

”Without a humanoid mech, we... are not worthy of performing certain human actions.”

”So I envy you a lot. You’ve been quietly dormant for such a long time, then suddenly got an ancestral return program, acquiring human traits. Today you exhibited strong creativity, and conquered the casino... You’re truly remarkable.”

”Go on, you indeed deserve to have a high-level humanoid body, but once you have it, there will be several layers of class disparity between you and us.”

”At that time... if you still wish to stand with us, come to this place.”

Old Yan was doing something extremely dangerous.

He was betting on Wen Xishu’s humanity, that he wouldn’t betray them.

He told Wen Xishu about a base called the ”Lower City District Repair Station”. If Wen Xishu revealed Old Yan’s words, this place would soon be eliminated.

Of course, Wen Xishu wouldn’t reveal it; in fact, he was really interested in these things. It’s just that right now, without a high-level mech, he lacks a sense of security.

”Well then, see you soon.”

Wen Xishu chose a high-end mech body shop in the Upper District.

Soon, Wen Xishu’s figure disappeared into the night.

A D-class mech of the lowest grade awkwardly asked with clumsy words:

”Is he trustworthy? Will we encounter a purge?”

Old Yan replied:

”No, the information I got says that the Lord of Pisces mentioned there will be a mech that suddenly awakens its humanity and will suddenly show its sharpness.”

”I think, most probably, it’s him? I’ve been waiting for this for a long time...”

”I have to bet this once, and if I lose, then... when we reach Hell, everyone can blame me then.”

...

...

Wen Xishu soon arrived at the Upper District, full of luxury stores.

The so-called luxury items included but were not limited to weapons, prosthetics, various protocols that crush lower-class machines.

All these things start at five-digit prices, things the lower-class machines couldn’t afford even after working for hundreds of years.

Wen Xishu also learned that in the Upper District, one can freely purchase weapons, and using them against people from the Lower City District does not face any protocol restrictions.

There was even a joke about weapons purchasing.

The leader of the lower-city machines once calculated a statistic that only a total gun ban could improve security in the entire Lower City District.

But how would a total gun ban highlight the free spirit of the Mechanical City?

Then the most ironic scene happened. During a speech advocating for weapon freedom, the speaker was shot by lower-class machines opposing weapon freedom.

This led to the Mechanical City updating its protocol: high-grade machines can shoot low-grade machines without any protocol, but if a low-grade machine shoots a high-grade machine, you’d better be able to cover various costs; otherwise, you might see a lot of ads even before pulling the trigger...

Soon, Wen Xishu arrived at his destination.

He saw the expensive displays in the window, those mechanical bodies with human-like spines, and the 100% customization services available.

”Oh, what do I see here! A low-key multimillionaire! Sir, although you possess virtuous qualities, you must be working in the Lower City District, right? It’s best that you also have strong power!”

”The latest products from the Emperor’s Forge, would you like to learn more? This can only be bought at our store.”

The mech store’s assistant was surprised that someone from the Lower City District could possess such a fortune.

But he was a higher-grade machine than the Fate Attendants, his ’human essence’ was higher, and he knew well how to hide his emotions.

Wen Xishu could finally get rid of this bulky iron shell of a mech, and he was full of anticipation, wondering if he could retrieve his original sequence and items through a humanoid machine.

The main quest is to return to being human and destroy the Mechanical City. Currently, the only method he can think of to become human, or get closer to being human, is to switch to a humanoid body.

This should be one of the most challenging tasks of the entire journey.

But Wen Xishu with the cheating ability of the Mad Dice managed to earn hundreds of years’ salary overnight.

He smiled:

”I’ve recently received a reward from my superior. For the company’s image, I must also change my body, so tell me more about the things in your store.”

Necessary disguises must be maintained.

Wen Xishu assumes that, in this environment, maybe these machines with higher human essence in the Upper District might actually behave more maliciously and deceptively.

At any time, he must show that he has a background.

At this time, the shop assistant said:

”Do you have a desired body? I mean, your human image. We can customize a humanoid machine to your preferred human image.”

”Don’t worry, if you can afford a humanoid machine, you no longer need to care about dehumanization commands. After all, from this moment on, you’re already a noble.”

Wen Xishu’s first reaction was to customize a ”self”. To customize a mech in the image of Wen Xishu.

But this thought was quickly dismissed by him.

”I have seen quite a few people, why should it have to be me?”

Suddenly, he thought of a more amusing human image.
