The First Store System

Chapter 1399 Active Quests!

Chapter 1399: Active Quests!

Aakesh didnʼt treat Katrina and Autumn differently than he treated other customers when it came to the store, and he acknowledged the fact that he was closer to the two than other customers, especially the relationship between Autumn and Lily. They both sincerely treated each other as family, and since Lily was his family, he had a good impression of Autumn.

As for Katrina, she was his teacher with Autumn during the continent exploration, and if Aakesh were to choose who he found better, it was an easy answer for him.

”Even I didnʼt think that it would take that long, so I didnʼt tell you,” Aakesh responded.

”To make up for the worry I cause, how about doing one thing you want?” He added.

Katrinaʼs eyes immediately shone when she heard the second part of the second statement. Her mouth curved into a sly grin as she asked, ”Anything I want?”

”Anything?” She repeated.

Aakesh didnʼt reply but simply stared at Katrina. In no time, her curled-up lips came down, and she scoffed, ”At least, play with it for a while.”

”Is that what you want?” Aakesh asked.

Katrina choked on her words and didnʼt continue the joke with Aakesh. A serious expression appeared on her face, and she said, ”We might need your help with something in the future…”

Katrina and Autumn then shared the worry they had been dealing with for the past several years. At first, they didnʼt want to take Aakeshʼs help since he had already done them many favors, but to their utter disappointment, they were unable to handle the situation.

”I would have helped you even if not for my promise,” Aakesh responded after hearing about their situation.

Aakesh didnʼt lie since Lily was sure to step into the situation if she were to ever find out, and if Lily intervened, he would also.

”Does that mean I can still ask you for one more thing?” Katrina immediately asked, seeing a fortunate situation in Aakeshʼs response.

”Not anymore,” Aakesh responded with a smile.

Aakeshʼs smile acted as an infectious virus, and Katrina also smiled widely upon hearing Aakesh. She had only asked to lighten up the mood after the serious conversation.

The conversation between Aakesh and Katrina came to an end as he suddenly looked at the door. Not long after, a customer stepped inside the store.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

As the first group stepped out of the portal room after their Panagea stay was complete, Katrina and Autumn left for the portal room.

Aakesh also gained some free time, so he decided to check his store quests.

The next moment, a blue screen, containing the details of the eighth Panagea quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Sequence: Eight

Fortunately for Aakesh, the system didnʼt count the days when the store was closed, so his quest was still active. If not, Aakesh would have failed his first quest and would have lost many virtual portals, which were already in short supply.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and the quest screen disappeared. He then summoned another one, and not long after, a new blue screen appeared in front of him.

[Mission Sequence: Fourth

Requirement: Host, the store has successfully sold ten billion types of Novice, Advanced, Expert, and Master level skills to the customers. Now, it is time for you to increase your part and make more customers interested in the product,

*(100,000,000,000 Novice, Advanced, Expert, Master skills = 20,000,000,000 King level = 10,000,000,000 Emperor level = 5,000,000,000 God level skills.)

Soon after, a new blue screen, smaller than the previous one, containing the details of the progress, appeared on top of the mission screen.

[Mission Progress:

Time: 8/50,000

Novice … Master: 5,427,897/100,000,000,000,

King: 95,412/20,000,000,000,

Emperor: 1,247/10,000,000,000,

God: 89/5,000,000,000.]

Aakesh looked at the details of the fourth skill quest. The quest had only been activated a few days before the completion of the second store upgrade mission, so not much was there to see on the screen.

The quest was only in the early days, so slow progress was expected. The store needed to sell two million skills between novice and master levels just to complete the biggest requirement, and that too would happen on the last day. There was also the issue that one customer was only able to buy one skill of each level for their cultivation level, but that didnʼt worry Aakesh much.

The storeʼs products were such that the customer base of the store would keep growing, and it would only grow faster rather than stagnating at one point unless everyone in the Sacred Dimension became a store customer.

If the store had been around for the past three years, the number of regulars might have been more than twice as high as it was at that moment.

Since there was more than a century left before the deadline, Aakesh didnʼt worry much about the result and waved his hands. The next moment, the two screens disappeared.

There were still quests left for Aakesh to check their progress, but before Aakesh could summon the next one, he heard the sound of footsteps approaching the store.

Aakesh stopped in his actions and looked at the door, and not long after, a new customer stepped inside the store with a curious expression on his face.
