The First Store System

Chapter 399 – (3) Shock

Chapter 399: Shock

Kuriati respectfully took the talisman from the hands of Xotak. He didnʼt have any bad blood with Xotak, but it was all due to his father. Instead, he felt respect for Xotak. Someone who could convincingly defeat his father, a figure known for his talent and chaotic personality, was a figure to be respected.

Since his father didnʼt hate Xotak anymore, Kuriati also had no need to feel hostility toward Xotak.

The next moment, his eyes and mouth flew wide open, while his jaw almost dropped to the ground, seeing the talisman he had gotten from Xotak.

”I…I canʼt take this, senior,” Kuriati attempted to give it back, with his voice slightly trembling.

The talisman Xotak gifted Kuriati was a key to a ruin in the Primal dimension. It was the same ruin from which the legendary Kartikeya got the first Prana cultivation manual.

(A/N: For Kartikeya, read chapter 10.)

It was a free ruin, and anyone could enter it anytime. But for entry, it asked for a key. After entering, the ruin would transfer the key to some part of the Primal dimension for another fated figure to find it.

Till now, only eleven different keys had been found, each referring to a different entry point.

”I told you, call me teacher. It has no value for me. You can take it,” Xotak smilingly responded, seeing Kuriati attempting to return the key.

Time flew by.

After Trihan intervened, Kuriati took the key with a hint of excitement. Due to the scene of the future, he had refused to participate in the event, so it felt uncomfortable. But now that he had gotten the key to the most popular and mysterious ruin in the Primal dimension, that feeling of losing disappeared.

After Kuriati took it, he and his followers went to the portal room right away since they had cards. Trihan and Xotak discussed something, and then they also proceeded toward the portal room.

Another round of silence fell on the store since only Aakesh was presently seated in the entire store.

Only a few seconds had passed when another round of teleportation ensued in the store.

There was only one customer. He was one of those who had gotten rewarded supreme cards yesterday by Anthony.

The person didnʼt know much about the store since he didnʼt dare to ask any questions when he was here for a mission. He then approached Aakesh.

”Senior, what products does the store sell?” The man respectfully asked. He used senior from the get-go since he had witnessed how his master, Anthony, had treated the store owner yesterday.

”The store sells…,” Aakesh then began introducing the store products one by one, including the upgraded products, after completing the quest yesterday.

”…, sold by the store,” Aakesh concluded the introduction.

The man couldnʼt help but get excited, hearing about the weapons.

When he arrived here yesterday, the maximum level of weapon the store sold was King-grade, which was suitable for a Tao Seed level expert. He was an early Tao Palace cultivator, so he could use an Overlord-grade weapon.

Yesterday, seeing such great qualities of weapons, he wanted to buy for himself, but since the maximum level was only King-grade, he and several others like him decided against it. How could he not feel excited about being able to purchase an Overlord-grade weapon?

”Thank you, store owner,” The man thanked Aakesh and then proceeded in the direction of the weapons room.

There was also Panagea which interested him, but he couldnʼt control himself from buying a suitable weapon for himself first.

Suddenly, his steps came to a stop as an idea emerged in his head. Since there were many like him yesterday, who wanted to buy weapons but were unable to yesterday, due to low level, he could inform them and use this as a favor he owes them.

He then took out his card and began contacting his friends one by one. He then informed them about the availability of the weapons and Tao Palace experience pills to peak Tao Manifestation friends of his.

Suddenly, the store saw a flurry of teleportations as Anthonyʼs followers began appearing one by one.

Time flew by.

Two hours had passed since the store opened for the day. After buying the weapons, Anthonyʼs followers went to the portal room. The number of customers currently present in Panagea was around the 1500 mark.

Aakesh still had a quest of 15,000 hours per day for a month consecutively to complete. The mission objective was for 1150 virtual portals, so after the addition of 1450 new portals, the difficulty of the quest had gone down by a large margin.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when another round of teleportation ensued in the store.

It was Anthony, Odred, and Sarbal, who had come here for Panagea.

”Hello, store owner,” Odred greeted Aakesh. Sarbal and Anthony followed him.

Aakesh still had a quest for selling a billion weapons. Since the limit for buying weapons up to the Mythical-grade had been removed, Aakesh informed Odred about the addition of upgraded weapons and the limit removal.

Odred, who was about to leave after greeting Aakesh, found his foot frozen when Aakesh informed him about the weapons.

Anthony only shook his head in amusement, seeing his friendʼs reaction. He then left the duo of teacher and student standing there and proceeded toward the portal room. He couldnʼt just wait for Odred to finish his purchase since he was also busy.

Odred ignored Anthony and went to the weapons room with Sarbal following him.

Time flew by. After an hour of shopping, Odred and Sarbal exited the weapons room. After knowing about the higher level of weapons and limitless availability of lower-level weapons, Odred lost his usual interest in them.

Ultimately, the duo bought about six hundred different kinds of weapons together. Since it was the first day of Sarbal in Panagea, Odred gave him basic information about it, and then the duo also entered the portal room.

Time flew by, and hours passed.

Over the past hour, a new group of customers arrived, filling every virtual portal. There were even customers who had to wait.

The six-hour stay of the majority of the customers present in Panagea was over, so the system forced them out one by one, depending on the sequence of their entries.

After the customers exited, there were around a hundred new waiting customers.. They had arrived in the store for the first time.
