Chapter 353 – Monstrous Growth

Chapter 353: Monstrous Growth

It has only been less than an hour since the store opened for the day, and already the spots for the second and third group of customers had gotten filled.

Aakesh thought about the quest related to the virtual portals, and the next moment, a blue screen containing the details appeared in front of him.

[Mission objective: Add the number of virtual portals,

Requirement: As a result of the three-day event, the Panagea had become increasingly popular throughout the Bisan Kingdom and some parts of the Primal dimension. So much so that only in the starting few hours of the opening of the store, all the slots get taken for the day. There has been an addition of 100 more virtual portals, but to ensure such kind of craze of Panagea continues and even more, customers join it; the store owner needs to have 2000 hours of entry time every day into Panagea for seven days straight,

Progress: 6/7,

Mission reward: 1000 new virtual portals,

Failure punishment: None.]

Aakesh nodded, seeing that the quest would get completed by tomorrow, and then there would be thousand more virtual portals in the store from the day after tomorrow.

He had noticed that the competition between entering the store turned out to be more intense than the competition between the adventurers inside Panagea. It was the last thing he wanted, to be his store a competition ground rather than the product.

With the addition of a thousand virtual portals, the store would get relief from the competition for a few days since currently, the user base for Panagea wasnʼt that much due to lack of its quantity.

Several of the customers who wanted to enter Panagea couldnʼt enter due to not getting spots, or even if they get, they needed to wait for hours, doing nothing except meditation, if they werenʼt rich since if they took a step outside the store, their spot would get nullified, and someone else would get it.

”One more day,” Aakesh murmured and then thought of the quest screen disappearing.

The next moment, the quest screen scattered into nothingness.

Since there were no new customers in the store, Aakesh returned to his relaxation session with closed eyes.

Due to his unlimited endurance, his mind was always in a relaxed state, so even though he was relaxing, he still thought about the battle scenes with the being in the war to conquer the fort.

Aakesh suddenly decided to check his status screen as the few battles with the being helped his strength and other skills related to archery grow at a monstrous rate.

The next moment, a dark blue opaque screen appeared in front of Aakesh. Golden fonts then started appearing on it.

Personal Status:

Name: Aakesh,

A smile spread across Aakeshʼs face, seeing the level of growth he had since the last time he had checked his status screen.

His strength grew by a whopping 854,044 Primal units. Agility didnʼt see the same level of growth as strength, but it still was an outrageous amount of 456,766 Primal units.

The pressure of not being able to defeat someone truly helped Aakesh achieve a monstrous rate of growth. If he were to be precise, around 80% of the increase was what he had gained due to the battles he had yesterday with that being.

For the first three times, Aakesh couldnʼt even put up a fight and died with the first strike, but for the fourth time, he was able to defend himself for the first time, and he even landed an attack. Even though it failed to do anything, it still was several fold growth after dying three times without even getting the chance to fight back.

The fifth battle finally saw Aakesh landing a successful strike when he pierced the beingʼs left shoulder.

The power gap between them was still wide, so Aakesh died after that. This situation continued for the sixth and seventh battles.

In the eighth battle, he finally was able to put up a fight for several seconds.

He didnʼt have any battle after that as Lily had then exited her training.

The only reason he was able to fight so many battles in the span of less than an hour was due to the rulerʼs interest in Aakesh.

It may seem an unfair advantage and harmful for Aakesh in the training, due to him routing the soldiers on the forts due to the ruler not allowing them to fight back, but the ruler didnʼt care and continued doing it, as he was fully confident in killing Aakesh.

Aakesh also liked it as he was growing at an unimaginable rate with each battle with the ruler.

The scenes of Aakeshʼs eighth battle with the ruler continuously ran in his mind as he attempted to correct what he did wrong and how he could gain an advantage in the battle.

Time flew by, and hours passed.

The six-hour stay for the first group of customers in Panagea was over, so the system forced them out one by one according to their time.

Carla, who had been training in the difficult level training area of the King-grade weapon, also exited the training, as the timer she had set in her mind had turned into zero since there was no time dilation for the customers in the first four levels of the training area.

An excited look appeared on her face as she waited for the store owner to tell the second group.

Her wait didnʼt continue for long as when the system forced all 150 customers out, Aakesh ordered the second group to enter.

With an excited expression, Carla rushed to the portal room and touched the first virtual portal she came across with just the tip of her finger.

The next moment, a force stronger than anything she had felt appeared and sucked her into a new world, and soon, the shining stars rotating turned grey, marking the virtual portal as taken.

The next moment when Carla opened her eyes, she found herself in an unfamiliar place.
